The Space:

Location, location, location - this apartment-style townhouse in Lynmore is superbly placed, just a few minutes' stroll from the entrance to the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest, with cafés right on the doorstep and the Blue and Green Lakes just up the road. Handily, the Good George Bar and Restaurant and an Anytime Fitness gym are both right across the road - so if you're an Anytime Fitness member back home, you're welcome to pop in for a workout. Inside, the main living area is open-plan, tying together the kitchen, dining and living spaces, and flowing out to a north-facing deck with a BBQ - a lovely, sunny spot for outdoor meals. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Downstairs there's a walk-through bunk room with two sets of bunks (sleeping four), leading through to a fourth bedroom with a queen bed and its own ensuite. There's a single garage - handy for storing the bikes - a laundry, and out the back a little courtyard with a spa pool to soak in after a day on the trails. It's a fantastic base for mountain bikers, families or a group of friends.

The Neighborhood:

Tree Walk Townhouse sits in Lynmore, one of Rotorua's most sought-after spots for the outdoors - you're just a few minutes' walk from the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest, with over 100km of mountain bike trails, walking tracks and the famous Redwoods Treewalk. The Good George Bar and Restaurant and an Anytime Fitness gym are both right across the road, and cafés are on the doorstep. The beautiful Blue and Green Lakes, along with Lake Ōkāreka and Lake Tarawera, are all a short drive away. Central Rotorua, with its restaurants, shops and geothermal attractions, is only about 6 minutes' drive.



Getting Around:

You can walk to the Redwoods from here, and there's a single garage for the bikes plus free parking. By car, central Rotorua is about 6 minutes away, Rotorua Airport around 7, and Blue Lake (Tikitapu) roughly 8, with the Green Lake, Lake Ōkāreka and Lake Tarawera all a short drive on. It's an easy, central base for exploring.



Other Things to Note:

WIFI runs at around 566 Mbps. A couple of things worth knowing: the downstairs bunk room is a walk-through room (you pass through it to reach the fourth bedroom), which is worth bearing in mind when you're deciding who sleeps where - it's ideal for kids or a group who don't mind the layout. The spa pool sits in a small courtyard out the back, accessed from the garage or the downstairs bedroom. The single garage is handy for storing bikes after a day on the trails. And a nice bonus for those keeping up their routine: there's an Anytime Fitness gym right across the road, so if you're a member you can pop over for a workout, with the Good George Bar and Restaurant right there too.
