Escape to this charming Kiwi bach nestled in a tranquil bush setting near Lake Rotoiti, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Enjoy easy access to the boat ramp for prime trout fishing and sunny outdoor spaces ideal for summer BBQs. The bach features a master bedroom with a queen bed, a double bed in another room, and bunk beds, accommodating families. Enjoy complimentary use of a kayak and lifejackets to explore the lake's beauty.

The Space:
Master Bedroom: Features a comfortable queen-size bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep. Bedroom Two: Offers a double bed, ideal for couples or individuals. Bedroom Three: Includes two sets of single bunk beds, making it a great space for children or additional guests.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house, including the master bedroom with a queen bed, another bedroom with a double bed, and a third bedroom with bunk beds. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor spaces, perfect for summer BBQs. Complimentary use of kayaks and lifejackets is also included for exploring the lake. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street.

Hamurana Golf Club has a nine hole course which is 15 minutes away towards Ngongotaha.
With the Okere Falls Store only 3 kms away, which has an excellent selection of gourmet grocery items along with cafe and beer garden you won't even need to head into Rotorua.

Getting Around:
Navigating to your lakeside retreat is straightforward. You'll find free parking available directly on the property, making arrival hassle-free. Rotorua Airport (ROT) is the closest airport, a convenient 20-minute drive from the house. While public transport is not extensive in Okere Falls, a car is recommended for exploring the region. The property's location offers easy access to major road networks, providing quick connections to Rotorua city and surrounding areas. Consider using ride-sharing services for convenient transport around the area.

Other Things to Note:
There are 2 kayaks at the house for you to use and if the owner isn't using his kayak, you might have 3.

Classic kiwi bach

We had an amazing time staying at Lake rotoiti, the property was well equipped with all the amenities we needed, clean home and crisp sheets. The communication with the property manager was prompt and very compassionate and friendly. It’s walking distance to the park, boat ramp, and coffee cart. Would definitely recommend this location

Up to date HRV and heat pump - good internal temp control. Brand new oven, it seems. Quiet, spacious. Rather poor mobile reception, partly resolved with signal booster. No WIFI (Hard to watch AB's and F1). No sink plug in bathroom. Water pump forgotten to be enabled, but resolved rapidly.

Batch as per description clean and tidy and had all essential items for a weekend away with our family. Close to the boat ramp which was handy.

A great stay

We loved the kayaks. Great spot to stay, everything we needed was there for a relaxing stay. It was awesome to have linen provided. One of the queen sized beds could do with a bigger duvet for comfort. I like the no wifi but the teenagers not so much!

Great batch, clean, tidy and warm.

Great for visiting rotorua, 25min In to town, nice batch and neighbourhood. Clean and tidy. Has a heat pump which was great in winter when we stayed. Good double beds and with a bunk room. Would go back to this place, easy instructions.

Whanau is everything.

Our overall impression - comfort and easy access to this property. Beds very comfortable. A pillow case replaced due to hair dye. Sorry. No free Wi-Fi but actually loved talking to each other face to face. Too cold to use the kayaks but the thought was there. Place was tidy. Whanau enjoyed the comfort and stay too. Enjoyed the early morning walks. Our 4th time with Bookabach in this area. Looking forward to the next Bookabach experiences in the near future. Nga mihi nui.

Lovely house and location

We booked the property for a family holiday, plenty of space and a great location for kayaking and rafting and getting into Rotura.

Summer break

True to advert and had everything needed in a good location to the lake and boat ramp. Cleanliness let it down though. Found strip of medication etc under bed. Tea pot, kettle and oven were dirty. Cobwebs hanging in each room and dirt rings around vents on ceilings. Linen was fresh and clean. I just felt like giving it all a good clean but I was on holiday so put up with it.

Family Getaway

The Bach was in a great location for our family. So close to the boat ramp and safe for the kids to walk to the water. The kayaks were fantastic and everyone had a great time.

Fantastic location

Great location and close enough to Rotorua to make day trips. Okere Falls walk was a favourite and the Redwoods Altitude was amazing. We had a great stay. Thanks for having us.

Exceeded expectations

Beautiful little home that was surprisingly a lot more spacious and home-like than we expected. Having the little information booklet about the area and things to do was really handy too. Thankyou very much!

Peaceful Lake Rotoiti bach

Thanks for a relaxing stay in this classic kiwi bach on the clear, clean and peaceful Lake Rotoiti. The kayaks were a fabulous way to enjoy the beautiful area with nearby walks in the forest further around Lake Rotoiti and less than 30 minutes drive to the many adventure sports we enjoyed around Rotorua. Was an easy family stay. Thanks.

This property was ideally located for spending time on the lake.

This property was ideally located for spending time on the lake. The boat ramp access is literally around the corner. The house itself sleeps up to 8 and although it is small and compact, it contained everything we needed for our stay. As our first day was pouring with rain, the dryer, washing lines and rack in the garage were very handy for drying our towels ready for more lake action on day 2. Thank you for allowing the later checkout, we would love to stay again and bring our friends too.
