Welcome to the Ponderosa Lodge at Pinetop Country Club! We pride ourselves in a clean environment! Home sleeps six.
Cool mountain breezes & our accommodations will refresh your spirit! This beautiful custom home is sited on over 1/2 acre in an area of tall ponderosa pines, oak, spruce, aspen, and maple trees. Large windows & sky lights flood the rooms with light & capture views of tall pines. A fieldstone fireplace with log mantel soars to the 30-foot knotty pine ceiling. The Great room, Master bedroom, bedroom 2 & loft has cozy knotty pine ceilings. All doors & baseboards are stained grade pine. A bear rug and elk mount adorn the walls. You feel like you are in Pinetop!
The incredible 40-foot redwood deck is perfect for dining, entertaining, reading a novel, star watching & enjoying the cool, fresh mountain air. At the end of the day, relax by candle light in the King-sized soaking tub for two with views of the lush green forest. The Ponderosa Lodge features a King bed in the Master bedroom, a King bed in bedroom two & a full bed in the Loft. We feature wood laminate flooring on level one. We just added all new stainlesss steel appliances and a new stainless steel gas BBQ.
FREE WIFI. The closet at bedroom 2 is not available. A decorative clothing rack and dresser is provided. You are required to complete a Vacation Rental Agreement within 24 hours of your reservation. Keys will not be released until the agreement is received by the manager.

We do not offer a phone hardline.

The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed and our stay was comfortable and restful. Just what we were looking for. Chuck was a terrific host and easy to communicate with.

Pinetop 2023

It was a nice get a way. Cabin feels like it’s a treehouse with it being built up… we loved that feeling. Its in a great neighbor and easy to get to. The bed was comfortable as well, which often is not the case. It’s a cute little place. We enjoyed our stay.

Considerate and thoughtful owner

I found the owner to be thoughtful and considerate in helping us deal with an unexpected medical issue. It is a good feeling to know there are people like him in the world.

Nice Mountain Home Quiet Neighborhood

The home was accurately described on the web site. The owner very easy to deal with and professional. We spent a lot of time on the large deck - at first I was concerned as the deck was in the front of the house but it was as peaceful as could be. Maybe an occasional neighbor walking their dog. The dining room was pretty tight, even with only four people, so we used the nice patio table and chairs on the deck. Overall I would certainly recommend the property.

Enjoyable

Great place, Chuck. Our only 2 complaints were in the master bedroom. The TV simply didn't work properly. We'd have it on a station and it change channels on it's own??? We opted not to use it. And the bedding on the king bed was so uncomfortable we went out and bought new sheets. Chuck we left you a note in the home. Also garbage company never came so your can is full in the garage and will probably begin to smell. Blessings to you and your family. Don

Don, Thank you for your beautiful letter we found left on our kitchen table! Dear Chuck, Thank you for creating a beautiful home that we could enjoy for several days. We loved the tree setting, the cleanliness, of the house, and awesome windows. May the peace of God continue to rest on this home. We love to tell the story of Jesus and his love. Thank you, Myron, Karlene, Don, and Linda Our apologies on the flannel sheets in the master bedroom. We put them on because the weather had been cool and rainy. If you had contacted me we would have made arrangements to have different sheets put on for you. Curiously, the flannel sheets were left made on the bed when you checked out. We checked the TV; it's possible the last guest used the TV for gaming The Dish service required reprogramming. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Thanks for the heads up on the garbage container. I personally hauled away trash in the container that was left by the previous guest before your arrival on Sept. 7. We had our cleaners haul away the full can of trash from your stay. Thank you for your comments, we are always trying to improve the guest experience! Sincerely, Chuck and Carlotta Weir

What a gem

Located in a quite neighborhood, surrounded by pines, this home provided the perfect get away spot. The owner has provided everything needed for a relaxing vacation in the woods. It is a first cabin experience.

Beautiful Cabin Nestled in the Trees

The decor of the cabin matched the season tastefully and perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the area so peaceful. We were impressed that this cabin had all of the pots, pans, pyrex, cookie sheets, hand mixer and a stick blender etc. Our family met here for Thanksgiving and were able to make a complete feast. Would rent again. Thanks, Chuck.

Quiet get-away

A very peaceful stay in a beautiful cabin! The deck was a fabulous place to sit and enjoy the thunderstorm in the afternoon and my coffee in the morning. Very private and quiet neighborhood.

Cool stay in the pines

Lovely, lodge style home in the pines. The house in nicely furnished and everything you could need is there. The four of us enjoyed drinks and meals on the large deck. It is the perfect house for a summer get away.

Chuck is a wonderful host. The property is everything as advertised on VRBO plus some. It is so nice to set outside and see all the wild life. We tried to book again for this month and it was already booked up.

Quiet and relaxing

Thank you to the Weirs for allowing us to stay in your home. It was very clean and had a well-appointed kitchen. Cooking meals at home is a must for my husband and I since we both have food allergies. The overall comfort of the home was outstanding and we were able to achieve the relaxation we needed. 5 stars all the way through!

Fall in Pinetop-Lakeside

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was warm and cozy. It had everything we needed. The deck was fabulous with lots of seating and the grill was great. Everything was very clean and organized. The bathroom in the master could use a little polishing, especially the shower. The only thing I’d suggest is a list and map for hiking, biking, and lakes. Also, maybe a list of restaurants around that have good reviews. Overall, the property was nice and quiet. Exactly the peace and privacy we were looking for.

We are only 15 minutes to lakes and streams. Golf, equestrian, tennis, hiking, restaurants/bars shopping...minutes away. Sunrise Ski Park is 30 minutes away! Small potty trained non- shedding dog considered at $25 per night.
