Oceanside Cottage is just across the road from the beach. It is modern and clean and has everything you need for a fabulous Kiwi-style beachside holiday in one of New Zealand's most unique and beautiful locations.

Unique to Hot Water Beach are the naturally heated thermal springs which bubble to the sand's surface at low tide. At this time, armed with a spade, tourists and locals alike dig hot pools in the sand and soak in their own personal natural spa while gazing out onto the beach and its surrounds.

The beach is known for its fabulous breaks and the waves are great for boogie boarding as well as surfing. An estuary nestled into the side of the beach offers a swimming and paddling area for young children.

The surrounding area has a huge range of things to do for all ages including walking or catching a boat to the famous Cathedral Cove, playing golf, diving, fishing, kayaking, horse-riding and enjoying fine wine and food.

No camping or extra guests please. No parking of any vehicle on the lawn. Car parking is for available for one car only (no motor homes)
