This one bedroom apartment is located in the award winning Beaumont Quarter and has two courtyards, an open plan living area & kitchen, one bedroom, bathroom and a carpark with convenient lift access to your door.

The recreation centre has a gym, indoor pool, sauna and spa.

Here are 3 things people love about our Secluded Garden Apartment:

1 - The location is simply outstanding. Beaumont Quarter is located little more than a stone's throw away from the hustle and the bustle of the city, yet tucked away in the best fringe location Auckland has to offer. We are isolated from the noise of the central city, however it's just a short 5-15 minute walk to Wynyard Quarter, Ponsonby and much of the CBD. Our guests frequently comment on how quiet Beaumont Quarter is given its central location.

2 - The layout of the apartment with a private courtyard off the lounge and another courtyard off the bedroom allows plenty of natural light, and offers a number of places to relax and unwind. The private ground floor entrance makes it easy to come and go. The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard with new modern contemporary furniture.

3 - Guests frequently leave reviews about how comfortable the Sleepmaker Posture Align bed is when combined with the high thread count sheets and a feather duvet and a selection of soft, medium, hard and feather pillows. Lisa from Mangawhai said "The beds were fantastic. Just bliss when you put your head on the pillow and snuggled in those luxurious linens. I have to say this because so often in NZ those that rent private accommodation do not make this a priority." The bed is queen sized.

Here are 3 things to consider before renting our Secluded Garden Apartment:

1 - The apartment is in a residential area and close-knit community, so no parties are permitted in the apartment at all times during your stay. This applies to all residents, so ensures you will have a peaceful and quiet stay yourself.

2 - Even though private, the apartment is located in a central city neighbourhood, so you will be surrounded by buildings and other residents. That’s not a downside, since the neighbours are generally a very considerate group of people, but you will be aware of their presence on occasion. Most people actually love it, since you will have a chance to meet locals and quickly strike up a conversation. Live like a local amongst locals and you will love your stay.

3 - Living in a close-knit community requires some basic rules to make things easier. We ask that you abide by these rules and that you are a considerate neighbour. By all means, live and enjoy yourself, just be mindful of noise and loud music both inside and out and you’ll have a fabulous time.

We have furnished this recently renovated apartment with new modern contemporary furniture.

KITCHEN

Our kitchen is fully equipped. We've supplied a Nespresso machine and milk frother for coffee aficionados, and a classic teapot so you can brew the perfect cup of tea.

LOUNGE

Sit back and relax in style on the comfortable sofa while watching Netflix on the 50" HD Smart TV. The wifi is connected to an unlimited high-speed 100 Mbps fibre internet connection.

BEDROOM

The bedroom looks out over the private courtyard with a green garden outlook. The bed has a cosy duvets, high thread count sheets and a plush pillows. The large closets are stocked with clothes hangers.

LAUNDRY

The laundry includes both a washing machine and a dryer, and we supply washing powder.

GETTING AROUND

Our place is less than a 15 minutes walk or a $5-10 Uber ride to much of the central city, including Westhaven, Wynyard Quarter, Viaduct Harbour, Queen St, and Ponsonby.

If you want to catch a bus, the CityLink, InnerLink and OuterLink all have stops nearby.

PARKING

Free secure parking for one car is provided in a car park space located below the apartment building. There is direct access to the apartment via lift (no stair climbing required)

There are plenty of bicycle racks located in the front lobby as well as inside the secure parking building.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Regular cleaning. If you are staying for a few weeks, perhaps you would like to arrange regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning or a one-off additional clean. The cost is $164/visit for a clean and linen change, and $102/visit for a standard clean (no linen change). You can either arrange this in advance, or while you are staying.

Portacot (additional $6/day). We can provide Jolly Jumper Roma 2-in-1 portacots that have both bassinet and cot level. This model has passed safety tests and is recommended by Consumer NZ. We'll also provide cots sheets and blankets.

Access to the recreation centre including gym, spa and sauna is from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Beaumont Quarter is a 258-unit residential project in central Auckland, designed for inhabitants who want to live in the city centre, without relying on the regular use of cars. In a country that is known for building only high-rise or low-rise, Beaumont Quarter has been recognised as a benchmark project for medium-density development, introducing a European design that gives priority to pedestrians with a dense network of pedestrian pathways and small squares.

The award-winning design is exceptional in both concept and execution. The complex is comprised of a series of unique buildings, each with an independent yet complimentary aesthetic, brought together with pedestrian friendly walkways and shared spaces. All homes are well-equipped with high-quality, contemporary fittings and furnishings and have a focus on spacious living areas. Building height has been regulated to maximise natural light. And many homes have their own outdoor areas like courtyards, rooftop patios or decks – some with stunning views of the city. Trees, gardens and green spaces make BQ a relaxing and refreshing place to come home to. Beaumont Quarter is inner-city living at its best.

Across the road is the beautiful tree-lined Victoria Park (with a family-friendly skatepark, basketball court and playground) and you’ll find a New World supermarket less than 100m down the road. Plus, you’re only a short stroll from the shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars of Ponsonby Road, Wynyard Quarter, City Works Depot and Victoria Park Market.

You’ll find there’s a friendly sense of community at BQ which residents are keen to protect and maintain. Noise levels are kept low, especially after 10 pm, and there is respect and consideration for other residents and the common spaces.

We've created a comprehensive online guidebook of local attractions that we will send you a link to after you book.
You must have at least one Airbnb profile photo that clearly shows your face, and you must have Airbnb verified Government ID.

Quiet time after 10 pm.

To reduce the amount of chemicals used, you must use the shower located within the recreation centre before using the swimming pool or spa. This is enforced using CCTV and will result in a $50 fine if violated. Please follow the other rules detailed on the recreation centre door.

You will be allocated a dedicated car park that you are welcome to use for your entire stay. Electric vehicle charging is not possible from this car park.

We also have visitor parking (for your visitors) that is only for use by visitors for 3 hours and this is enforced with clamping/towing 24/7. If your visitors need to stay longer, there is pay parking out on Beaumont St, which becomes free parking after 6 pm. If you need an extra car park let us know and we can try to sort out an extra car park for you.

If you are staying overnight, Beaumont Quarter considers you a resident and may only use the visitor parking for 10 minutes for pick ups / drop offs. We want to make sure your group have a good experience, and getting clamped/towed and then getting pinged $200 would probably ruin your day.

For long-stay booking requests 27 nights or longer, we require that guests sign a standard "New Zealand Residential Tenancy Agreement". This gives you the same protections as other tenants in New Zealand, and helps keep our insurance company and accountant happy. After you have booked, we'll send you a link to a document that you can electronically sign.

The apartment complex management operates a CCTV surveillance system. Cameras record activity in common areas, including the roads, underground car parks and recreation centre. The recordings may be used for enforcement of the body corporate rules, and may be supplied to the police if illegal activity is suspected.

Before you arrive, you will be provided with a copy of the Beaumont Quarter welcome letter, and you are required to follow the rules outlined in this document.

You are required to provide the following details, and you authorise us to pass it on to the apartment complex management.
1. The full names of all occupants who will be staying at our place both adults and children (for children please indicate ages).
2. A contact phone number of the primary occupant.
3. The licence plate(s) of all cars that will be parked in the car park.

Quiet location apartment

Apartment is in a quiet zone area. It is well equipped with a comfortable bed. However, DO NOT book extra nights through host as it will incur exorbitant charges, only extend through vrbo direct.

Beautiful Accommodation

My husband and spent 5 relaxing weeks at this property which afforded us an easy introduction to Auckland. Downtown, the Ponsonby neighbourhood, the Wynward Quarter, and Viaduct Harbour are withiin a short walk. The condo was comfortable. Perfect Location and Space

Perfect location, good space, good airflow, and great amenities. I stayed here for 2 months, firstly with a girlfriend and then my husband. It worked well for us all and we all enjoyed the gym, sauna and lap-pool. We were able to walk everywhere from the apartment location. We walked to the Central Business district and downtown, up to Ponsonby, to the wharf and ferry. Grocery store close by too. We felt safe in all the areas we walked to. The property managers were extremely responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend.

Location, Location, Location

This property, adjacent to Victoria Park, is absolutely perfectly located in terms of proximity to the central business district, the marina, the supermarket and the dining an entertainment options provided by the always vibrant Ponsonby, Wynard Quarter, and the Viaduct; all no more than a short walk away. I occupied the property for nearly three weeks and since I was mostly alone, the one bedroom suited my needs very well. I prepare most of my own meals and i found the apartment to be well equipped for this. A washer and dryer made sure that clothing was kept clean. The bathroom facilities worked well and a large water heater insured long hot showers were available after a day of hard physical activity. The sun beamed down into a private patio off the bedroom where I would relax or eat my lunch. The television included several streaming options which I did not expect. The parking space, one floor below, was in a premium location. and parking is yet another valuable asset of this property. This apartment in in a condominium/apartment complex and I found everyone I encountered during my stay to be friendly and considerate of the close proximity to neighbors. Long story short, I guess you can see how much I enjoyed this place. Best for last, Brendan, the host was remarkably attentive to any needs I had and he was, by far, the best host I have ever encountered. Thank you Brendan!
