Located on the third floor of the Grand Sandestin, this newly updated unit, 2301, is your dream vacation haven. This bayside hot spot offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the comfort you desire on your next trip to SANDESTIN GOLF AND BEACH RESORTĀ®.


With stunning wood look plank flooring and comfortable, furnishings throughout, this unit will ease you into the Florida vibes the moment you walk through the door. The kitchen features whitewood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar for added seating. There is also a dining area with 8-person table which overlooks the open concept living room.

Unit 2301 sleeps 6 comfortably, perfect for snowbirds flying south for the winter or a small family looking for a Florida adventure. The master offers an en suite bath with double vanity, large walk-in shower and soaking tub. With neutral tile throughout, it will feel like your own personal spa. The guest bedroom is just down the hall with a queen bed and flat screen TV. Your guests will have their own bathroom just across the hall with an oversized walk-in shower. For more room, use the sleeper sofa in the living area.

Great condo

This condo was great, clean, convenient. However there is only 1 parking space for the unit so our friend had to park far away and walk. Everything else was nice and and easy.

I was provided with a loaner fridge that was slightly bigger than a minifridge. My family is on a budget for this work trip. We typically buy groceries and cook meals. Without adequate fridge space we had to order to go meals, which is more expensive than cooking for yourself. The loaner fridge froze the for breakfast snacks and drinks we could fit.

Needed vacation

Place was beautiful with huge deck. I would definately come back. Easy to walk down to baywarf and shuttle to beach. We rented a car which was a waste of money because we didnā€™t need it. The only complaint was the refrigerator and freezer. Went grocery shopping before we were able to get in at 4pm which is way too late for check in especially when place was empty. All frozen food did not freeze so had to throw out. Ice would just melt in freezer. I saw it on a review before we booked the place but was hoping it would have been fixed. Unfortunately not.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is nice but the check in process was a bit chaotic. Donā€™t expect to get access to the unit early even if itā€™s ready. The dishwasher makes a loud buzzing noise I also suggest running that at night. Most importantly the location of the unit is in the Grande building. I suggest getting clear directions from the host prior to arrival. I was told the unit was in the Grande but the title of the property says elation, so when I asked for assistance in the lobby of the Grande building I was told I was in a different building. Had to unpack our car a few times load the baggage into the cart all to be told to go to a different building. This coupled with the fact that I was not able to check into the unit early even though it was Christmas Day and I knew the unit was empty is why I would choose a different condo if I were to visit again.

Labor Day weekend stay

The Property was nice and gave us plenty of room and a great location with that nice corner balcony and so convenient to the beach and Baytown Wharf shopping! Only issues were the unit had no oven mits or hot pads to remove items from the oven. We cook breakfast each morning and used the dish towels for hot pads. A window shade in the master bedroom didn't retract properly to let in light. And a skillet we removed from the cabinet to use for our breakfast was dirty, It appeared to still have egg residue on it. The cleaning crew might want to check the dishes before putting them away. Also, we had no dishwasher pods in our cleaning kit for the kitchen. FYI - The top of the frameless glass shower door in the guest bath is hitting the glass panel on the right and needs some maintenance attention before the glass breaks.

Could have been better

Overall description was good. However, it does not tell you the refrigerator is not full size - itā€™s larger than a dorm size, but it is small. More importantly, it will NOT keep food cold but the freezer does work. Yes - we reported it a couple of times and they supposedly worked on it. It was not safe to store food in it. So, we spent a lot of money on ice to keep food cold. Unit was somewhat clean but hair everywhere - it was not our hair. The building itself is old and run down. Now we know why there are no pictures of the building complex. Never did figure out what other pools we had access too. Would be helpful to have all that info in the condo. Disappointed with this trip.

Fabulous Condo

We have stayed in Sandestin before and this was our first time at Grand Sandestin. This unit was fantastic. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was was great, literally a 5 minute walk to Baytowne Wharf by a private walkway. The on-site amenities like the gym and pool were just perfect. Customer service was as it should be and what all other companies are lacking!!! We had several questions during our stay and weā€™re always answered extremely timely and extra helpful. Can not recommend this unit and company enough. Overall fabulous stay!!!! Will be back in the future!!!

Spring break with family

This was our first time to Sandestin and we really loved the area! The condo was perfectly located to walk to everything in Baytowne Wharf. Loved the large balcony/patio! Having the kitchen and laundry is a must when traveling with kids so this was nice to have in the condo. Easy to navigate the building and parking. One thing to note - when they say a basic starter supply of dish soap, trash bags, etc, they mean it. We only had two kitchen size trash bags to use for the week. Also, no coffee filters or salt and pepper. Just fyi to put on your grocery list before arriving!

Great location. Nice place. We would stay here again. Only complaint is air made some type of loud noise every time it kicked on (both heat and cool)ā€¦ not sure what it was. My husband thought maybe some type of hydraulic element on the dampers or something??? Very annoying and woke us up a few times. Surely it could be easily fixed.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time in Florida/Sandestin area in the winter and likely not to do again as the weather is so unpredictable. The unit is in a ok location with nice open large balcony with very little privacy and wasn't clean upon arrival. The unit was nicely decorated, but the carpet in both bedrooms are very stained/dirty looking and don't look clean. The refrigerator upon arrival had not been cleaned from the previous renters and all shelves still had food particles left on them and to say it is a very tiny refrigerator. The smaller bathroom off the kitchen the floor wasn't very clean and all the dirt was swept in a corner. None of the glass inside nor out have not been cleaned for awhile either. An good unit, but has cleaning service issues. I was a bit surprised that "The Grand" interior lobby, hallways, walls etc are very "dated" and maintenance is in need.

This would be a 5 star rating if we had a working refrigerator. It wasnā€™t cool when we got there, but I just figured it needed a little time. I stocked it with groceries and ended up having to throw out all the meat and dairy ($$$), due to it getting too warm for too long. I was in communication with the property company, they finally sent a tech, but it was never fixed. Nice place, just not ideal to have a warm refrigerator on vacation with a family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Couldnā€™t have been more pleased with this rental. Every surface was clean and comfortable. The furniture was nice and clean. We would like to have enjoyed the large deck area but it rained everyday which was still ok because when we were inside the unit it was very relaxing. All the amenities of home.

This unit is amazing. Sandestin is the crown jewel of the panhandle.

This was our second stay at Sandestin. We love the family friendly atmosphere and convenience of Baytowne. This property was beautiful! Two spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and large living space. The kitchen had everything we needed except coffee filters but luckily there is a walmart, publix, and winn-dixie(best of all 3) all within 10 mins from the resort. Don't let the pictures fool you; the outdoor patio is MASSIVE! The pool is just a few steps away from the hotel lobby and the tram will pick you up in front of the hotel and take you anywhere on the property you would like to go! Bring fishing gear! You are allowed to fish any of the property ponds, no license needed! The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the best place in or around Destin to stay by far! I highly recommend this property for both couples traveling alone or those with children. There is something for everyone here!
