INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

All in all a pretty fantastic stay! So glad we picked this spot for our family.

Absolutely perfect stay! Great condo with tons of room. Resort was very well taken care of. Pool was always clean and parking lot was kept secure at all times. We WILL be back!

We definitely would recommend this place!

Panama City is more of a party town than our regular place we stay, Destin, but we highly enjoyed this vacation and will be back! The room was perfect for our family and we loved it. :)

Just as Expected

We had stayed in another unit at this complex a couple of years ago so we knew we’d like the property. As far as the unit goes, it was exactly as expected; the pictures are 100% accurate. The beds were super comfy and the unit was clean. I loved that the unit is on a lower floor (6th) and many units down from the elevator corridor. The unit had everything we needed, however, it would have been nice if some light cleaning supplies were provided (like Windex to keep the glass table clean after meals with kids, etc). My ONLY complaint is that we had to drive 20 minutes to the Panhandle office to pick up our wristbands and parking passes. The last unit I stayed in had these already in the unit and ready upon our arrival. Panhandle said they’re working on getting this corrected with the complex but there’s a process to it. So for now, be prepared to drive to the office. With better planning on my part, this wouldn’t have been much of an issue. Bottom line: I’d stay here again.

Surprisingly satisfied

Address on listing was wrong, couches had sand on them, master bedroom door didn’t lock, everything was clean besides bathrooms and one of the beds sheets looking like it’d never been changed so washed those and put them back on. Lobby and lobby bathrooms were extremely filthy so we weren’t hopeful our room would be clean but it was for the most part. We enjoyed our stay and balcony views.

Great location, great view

Amazing place to stay. Everything was neat, clean, and comfortable. We got in late at night and didn't realize until mid morning that the A/C was not working properly. The management company had someone out in less than an hour to take care of it. You can't beat the view from the 6th floor balcony. The only slight downfall was the lack of spices and coffee filters in the Kitchen. Every VRBO I've stayed in has a supply of these items, so I didn't bring any and made do with a paper towel for the first morning. This may have been a change due to Covid, but I thought others who may be used to these items being stocked may want a heads up.

Main sliding glass balcony door broken

The sliding glass door to the balcony was broken and we called from the time we entered the property. You couldn’t get out onto the balcony through the living room nor, open that door. Meredith from Panhandle Getaway would never return our call or offer any compensation. Yesterday, someone from Home Depot showed up and a glass door repairman without us being informed. We weren’t notified and one of the workers came into our rental with our children in the room alone. The worker said the they have had a work order for the sliding door for two weeks. The property wasn’t advertised with this feature broken and rented out with expectation of paying full rental price. Obviously having 5 kids track through a small door in your master or unable to venture onto the balcony, would have been a reason to book a different property. It was a beautiful condo and location. Beware of renting this property because in the event something is wrong, or you need help with your rental, Panhandle Getaway (the infamous Meredith) is not going to communicate to make it right. As a registered nurse, working long hours for this vacation, I am disappointed that I couldn’t open my rental up to the balcony daily and enjoy the breeze, have kids access it without disturbing or have breakfast/lunch out there easily. We also checked into the condo at 4:30pm. The entire unit was dirty and we had to call about that. The beds stripped and hadn’t been turned over yet. We were told the check in is 4:00-6:00. Couldn’t unpack, and was told to enjoy the other amenities. It was 6:30 pm before someone cleaned our room. We couldn’t get unpacked, showered and to dinner.
