The University of Queensland (UQ) is connected across the river by the Eleanor Schonell green bridge. An easy 15-20 minutes will get you to most of the best places Brisbane has to offer such as Queen Street Mall, Howard Smith Wharves, Suncorp Stadium, Ballymore Stadium, several Westfield shopping complexes and other university campuses.
