Our 12 properties are located in the heart of Grove with a country feel. The quaint and clean cottages are backed by 15 private wooded acres on 1600 feet of Carey Bay waterfront. Feel free to roam! With six separate cottages available it’s the perfect place to bring friends and family yet have your own space. After a long day on the lake, watch the sun set over Carey Bay and then head back to your cozy cottage where you can grill some hamburgers and relax around a fire. Every cottage was designed with the discerning traveler in mind - granite counter tops, completely equipped kitchen, full sized washer and dryer, bathroom with custom shower... the list goes on. All the comforts of home, just smaller. We also have parking for a boat with water and electrical hookups and an outdoor security system.

Lake time! It's just a short walk behind the cottages to the lake. Explore our woods and enjoy the lake views. The shoreline is kept clean and in its natural state, it's a great place to relax and soak up the sound of the water. Dock the boat just a mile away at The Wolf Creek Park and Boating Facility, a top of the line fishing facility. Professional anglers come from all over the US to fish at Wolf Creek. They offer fishing tournaments and family events year round. Enjoy the other fun activities our area has to offer like various water sports, golfing, the state park, Har-ber Village, and Lendonwood Gardens, to name a few. If you don't mind a bit of a drive, tour Crystal Bridges Museum located an hour away but well worth it.

Amenities at the cottages include WiFi, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with cookware and dishes, coffee maker, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, Smart TV, beach towels, linens, and grill. Our area is very safe, but we have installed an outdoor surveillance system as extra security for our guests and their property.

The natural beauty of the lake and it's surroundings, along with the small town atmosphere are part of what we love so much about Grand Lake. We hope you enjoy your stay and love it here as much as we do!

Perfect Getaway

We needed a quiet and relaxing getaway. This place was awesome. The boardwalk next to the cabin was peaceful and great for bird watching. The lake was high so we couldn't try the many kayaks, but our dog loved jumping in the waves. We enjoying grilling and sitting hy the firepit.

Fabulous Cottage

Beautiful cottage, close to lake and woods. Very relaxing. Close to town if anything needed. Owners wonderful to work with.

Great Spot!

The cottage was nice and cozy, and the property was beautiful with lots of space and areas to explore! The lake was only a few hundred feet away and there were plenty of kayaks and paddle boards to use on the water! It's also only a 5-minute drive to shops, restaurants, and groceries. Great spot!

The best lake weekend

Everything about the cabin was just perfect! The size, the cleanliness, the full kitchen, the backyard and grill and the proximity to the lake. We loved everything about our weekend! We spent hours on the lake and using the kayaks and paddle boards. We watched the sunset from the beach. We will be back. Thank you for a great weekend!

Great location if you are just visiting the Grove area or if you are going out in the water.

Everything was good, no complaints here. The cottage was great the location was great and having the water just through the woods was wonderful. I took my dog and she loves it!!

Clean, Cozy, and Central

This was our first trip with our 1 year old daughter and this cabin was the perfect location! The hosts were so kind and responsive and the check-in process was a breeze! My husband and I thought the bed was comfy as well! We would absolutely stay here again!

This place was so magical! I cannot say enough good things about what a wonderful time we had here. Definitely one of the top vacation homes we’ve ever rented. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place with a short walk to a private beach—it’s perfect! The cottage was stocked with everything we needed and everything was so clean. We loved waking up to the sound of the birds outside our window every morning. Town is just a short distance away, but you still feel like you’re in a retreat! Even with the cottages right next door, we still felt like we had lots of privacy for our family. The owners are very prompt to communicate with and were so kind and helpful. We travelled here with kids and they absolutely loved it. We’ll definitely be back if we come through the area again!

This is the perfect place to stay!

We loved our visit! The cottage was modern and clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the location was great. We had everything we needed for our stay and more. We can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer to use all of the available amenities. We were so close to the water and would have loved to use the fishing poles, hammocks, and kayaks! We'll definitely return in the spring to enjoy everything that the lake and cottage have to offer.

Perfect spot

Our adult children live in area so this was nice spot for us and another family stay. Good size for 3 adults - or family. Kitchen well equipped and TVs in all 3 rooms. The lake is about 100 yards from back door and the “board walk” is well made. One night we sat in one the sitting areas ( along the walk) and watched the firefly show. We used the kayaks and enjoyed our morning tour of the lake before the big boats started Hosts were very responsive and I had no question to the check in / out procedures. Very efficient The cabins are close in proximity but I rarely saw anyone and noise was not an issue even over the 4th. We ate at the Regatta ( excellent brunch) and even went to church around the corner at United Methodist - lovely service.

Awesome location for tournament anglers

We booked this trip for a two day championship on Grand. The parking spaces are perfect for a 21’ boat and trailer to be backed in right next to the cottages. Fantastic amenities and very clean. Will be staying here for each tournament we have on Grand.

Wonderful Place!

Absolutely loved the place - just what we were looking for. Everything we needed was available as listed and the property was beautiful. Loved the short walk to the lake and being able to take a kayak out in the bay. Definitely recommend and will stay here again if we are in Grove.

Fantastic beyond expectations

This was fabulous! The property is lovely and they thought of everything. The goodie closet includes everything from fishing poles and tackle to beach towels and hammocks!

Business Travel

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days and LOVED IT. The cottage, property and city was Amazing! The cottage was very cozy and had all of the amenities you could ask for. I worked remotely from the cottage while my husband was out working and the internet connection worked perfectly. It was relaxing and quiet! Herb and Lindsay were wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We Will definitely be back soon!

Perfect Cottage

Our first time in Oklahoma and we can say we have enjoyed out stay. Our cottage was perfect. Everything was clean and organized. A fully stocked kitchen with pans and dishes. Beds were so comfortable. Great for out family of 5 with our small dog. Herb and Lindsey were so responsive and available for any questions. I would definitely recommend and hope to book in the near future.

A Luxury Resort Experience

We loved staying at the Carey Bay Cottages. It was luxury experience for the whole family. The kids loved the use of the kayaks and we appreciated easy access to the woods for hiking as a family. The owners are very friendly, easy to get a hold of, and very helpful for any of our needs. We definitely will return! Beautifully appointed cabins with modern conveniences making movie nights for little kids a possibility.

For the past 30 years we’ve called Grove home, raising our three children in this beautiful corner of Oklahoma.

Herb is a Builder and Endless Dreamer who wanted to create a memory-making property for vacationers coming to Grand Lake.

Lindsey is a Registered Nurse and Overthinker who now manages Herb’s dreams (and the properties).

We’re avid travelers, and while we’ve explored many incredible places and seen wonderful sights, there’s nothing quite like crossing Sailboat Bridge and coming HOME.
