Naples trip

We had a nice stay at this property. We were close to the beach and close to many different stores and restaurants. The back patio/pool had to be our favorite part, we spent majority of our time out there when we weren't out exploring.

The pool was a hit

My youngest daughter, her husband and two children (6 and 3) and I stsyed at this property. Easy to get checked in. The pool was so nice, warm no matter when we got inā€¦ couple of dsys it was 8:30z. The house is close to both Vanderbilt beach and Delano Wiggins State Park. Delano Wiggins was our favorite. This home is stocked with beach chairs and toweks.Plenty of rooms for bedtime. Laundry at home too. I would recommend this home!

Not what we rented

The property is not what is shown on the photos. In my personal opinion, the house is not inhabitable or rentable. The house is for sale and the host didnā€™t mentioned until last minute. The house was dirty overall, with a strong smell of chlorine, the cleaning crew definitely didn't do any work. Many things didn't work properly; the living room TV never turned on, and we couldn't use the BBQ because one burner was visibly broken, and it wasn't safe to use; it could endanger our lives. The oven was dirty and one of the beds smells like pee. The host mention that one of the lights of the pool wasnā€™t working, however the entire patio that was too dark. If I had known that, believe me, I wouldn't have rented it; everything was old, and nothing worked properly. The towels were old, the drawers and cabinet doors were hitting each other and some were disassembled. The bedding in the first room looked very bad and with smell of pee. The garbage cans give a very bad impression, broken, old, dirty at the entrance of the house. I wouldn't recommend your house for rent, and I think it's disrespectful to deceive people like this. And I can understand that the house is for sale, but that's that's not an excuse for keeping it in such bad condition. Our initial vacation was from Saturday to monday and we left the property on Sunday. Pros of the rent include that it was close to the beach, and also that the host was very communicative and let us do early check in.

Good for families

First off, I will be honest and say if you are expecting a top notch, nicely decorated, up to date home, keep looking.. This house could definitely use a lot of updating and touch ups. The comforters donā€™t match. Some of the towels look like they are 10+ years old. Soap dispenser in the bathroom doesnā€™t work. Curtains that you can barely open. Lots of cosmetic flaws. BUTā€¦ The house is comfy. The TVs are nice. It just needs some updating. FYI The third bedroom is actually a converted garage. (It worked fine for the kids though.) The second bedroom is advertised as a queen. It is most definitely not a queen, but rather a full! We learned that the hard way. The master bedroom is by far the best with its own private bathroom, walk out to the pool patio, wall fireplace and walk in closet. The other two bedrooms for sure lack in comparison, but again could be great for kids. That being said, the pool is nice and the fact that the yard surrounding the pool is 100% fenced in is nice for kids! There were spices in the kitchen which was handy for cooking and the bikes provided were really nice to have. The 1.1 mile walk to the beach is great and Mercato is very close. We rode our bikes to Walmart, the party store. pizza, dinner etc. nightly. The booking and communication process was flawless with Zac. I truly think if someone spruces up the decorating with even simple matching blankets, new towels, and touches up paint etc. it would make a big difference in this property!

Great price saved the day

This house saved the day. We were cancelled by another property one week before arrival due to a double booking. I was thankful we found this house. It was an overnight stay but price was better than 3 hotel rooms in the area and it allowed us to be together as a family. The house was very comfortable! Our only suggestion would be something to highlight that step down into the converted bedroom. Everyone one of us got caught by surprise at least once. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and outdoor furniture and the close proximity to the beach. The house was not super lush or ritzy but the big TVs, hot showers, comfy beds, and coffee were perfect. Thank you.

Overall a 4 rating . Location awesome. Pool is fantastic. Beds are very comfortable. Large tv with all streaming services is a huge benefit. I was there for a long weekend with my father and son and since it was more of a ā€œman caveā€ adventure .. house was perfect. Ok part of my wife joined us would be that the house is a mismatch of rooms. Upgrade some of the amenities , window treatments , 1980 toaster and plastic pool chairs . If the owner does those little things the house would be 5 star.

Little Naples Gem

Our stay was lovely. The home is older but has great character .The private backyard pool is the best part. Itā€™s really close to Mercado shopping and a 4 minute drive to Vanderbilt Beach Park! Very convenient. Adding a few wine glasses (poly carb so they donā€™t break and can be used outdoors) would be a nice enhancement. Overall a nice place to relax !

Zac was absolutely no help. Said everything was just fine. Place was filthy- starting with door upon entering. The pictures must have been taken in the early stages of rental- because the place is beat up- musty odors attempted to be covered up by numerous air freshenerā€™s throughout the home, safety issues, thresholds missing, no grounded outlets, fan lights about to fall, fan blades wobbling, pet hair everywhere, crumbs/sand all over bedsā€¦etc. Attempted to talk with property manager and he said ā€œwe donā€™t give refunds for things not being to my standards?ā€ My standards? How about any humans standards?? I think everyone on VRBO has a right to a clean home- yikes!

Home Comforts

Spent the weekend with the grandkids and chose this home for its Screened Pool. The neighborhood was safe and welcoming. Short drive to the beach. All the utensils needed to cook a family meal and share quality time together. Looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed the pool, the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and easily navigated whenever we ventured out, and the drive to visit area attractions and the beaches was very manageable. Our stay was great! The owner was always readily available if we ever encountered any problems or had any questions. The pool was heated and the fire pit was also very nice. The rooms were also very accommodating and spacious.

Hurricane hit area, listing not accurately described

We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend since we ourselves had severe hurricane damage. We have had no septic since the storm. One of things we wanted was a long hot shower and a good home cooked meal. We were not able to enjoy either one without complications at this house. Water in the kitchen sink was basically a slow trickle. The showers allowed for me to take a hot one, but my spouse had to wait a good 20 minutes before he had hot water and could take his. Good thing we allowed time in our plans. We didnā€™t have internet so no TV to watch. There were very inappropriate movies like Neighbors as a choice to watch if you so desired to watch. We went to bed early after a long day. The toilets flushed after a couple of times in a row if you used TP. Owner questioned me on that saying they worked fine for him. We had to plunge one toilet. The fire pit was something I was looking forward to using while sitting out on the patio. Unfortunately there was no propane in it, so couldnā€™t use it, And the fan overhead was so disgustingly dirty, it begged the question of how clean was everything else? The house itself was in very rough condition. No molding in places, dirty garbage can in kitchen, marker on flimsy kitchen chairs, , no covers on fans, toilet covers mismatched, paint chipping, etc. He advertised 1 mile to the beach- but the beach is a hurricane hit area! Itā€™s closed due to it being a disaster zone area. No beach is open. Not for walking, swimming, shelling, anything. One of the reasons we came here and we couldnā€™t enjoy it. I even asked him if his home was affected by the hurricane and he said no. A local corner business in the area said the whole community was flooded, so who do you believe? Zac charged a nightly rate, cleaning fee, and taxes, which initially brought our total up to over $400 for the night. It was a complete waste of money and had I had internet to look up VRBOā€™s number to call, I would have contacted them that night to help me with the issue. It was after we left the area we got internet and saw he gave us $40 off for internet loss. To be fair, the master bedroom bed was nice and had a nice bathroom. The living room room had a large tv to enjoy if you had internet. I asked for more of a refund and he refused. So, please decide for yourself if you think this is a good rental for your needs. We most certainly did not! We have photoā€™s for anyone who may want to see them.

Great location

Great location, close to beach and shopping. The only complain would be the mattresses were too hard. Otherwise it was an amazing stay. Having a pool was also great. Communication with management was awesome, they respond very fast.

I purchased this property in 2018 and enjoyed the home very much in the 2 years I spent in it. I I knew the location and amenities would make it a great vacation rental property for people and families to enjoy when they visit the area. In the 2 years I lived in the home I renovated it with the help of my team. I wanted it to have all the comforters of home, as well as touches of luxury for a pleasant experience that is indicative of the beautiful area.

This property is located in beautiful coastal Naples. It's a mile or less from beaches, tennis, fine dining, movies, shopping and grocery stores! This property has a great layout with a very private yard and pool/patio area. A nice cozy living room area and a dining room with a large window that offers privacy, but nice light and sky view for dinner during sunset.
