This property is perfect for the right family. It’s not a walk‑down‑the‑street-for-coffee or resort‑style setting, but it is a wonderfully private, spacious home with a beautiful beach just a two‑minute walk away. A rental car is essential to reach activities, restaurants, and other beaches. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern and updated. The kitchen and laundry setup are excellent. The living room furniture could use an upgrade, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed the space overall. We loved staying here, and as Lahaina continues to regrow, we think this home will become even more special.

Aloha Amy, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review! We are delighted that you enjoyed the privacy, spaciousness, and comfort of the home, as well as its close proximity to the beach. Your constructive feedback regarding the living room furniture is incredibly helpful, and we will absolutely share this with the property owner as we look for ways to enhance future guest experiences. Thank you also for your kind words regarding Lahaina’s continued regrowth—it truly is a special place, and we agree this home is a wonderful gem. We would love to welcome you and your family back for another peaceful stay in the future! Mahalo, Vacation-Maui Team"

Exactly as advertised, we recently stayed at 87-2 for a family vacation (4 adults, 2 kids) and it was wonderful. The complex is quiet, well maintained and beautiful. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. The kids had fun at the little beach and the Dolphin pool. The condo had everything we needed and was a comfortable space. The garden off the lanai was lovely and offered a good deal of privacy as well.

We had a great stay! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with dishware. The only thing I would update is the furniture in the living room. This property is in a great location, and excited to return to see the growth around it.

Puaman is always a great place to stay. Ocean pool and the clean well growing landscape makes this place outstanding. Our stay at 87-2 was amazing but needs some TLC & upgrades on Lani & interior furniture. We will come back again

Amazing

We had an amazing time here! Such a beautiful location. We would definitely stay here again. A couple of us stayed in this same community a couple years ago and were pleasantly surprised to have booked in same place again (same community different house). Amazing beach footsteps away, kind people, pool. The house is perfect!

Absolutely stunning. Comfortable, clean, beds were very comfy, bathrooms were big enough for a family of four. We were a little worried about our little guy on the stairs, but he did great. My husband and I are already talking about our next trip to Maui, and staying in the same place. Pool is close, so is the beach.

The condo was nice, but we thought we were on the water, which wasn't the case. We had trouble getting in the door when we arrived and both texted and called the company for help. They didn't respond. We found a cleaning lady in the area who helped us get in.

11 days in Maui, 87-2

Booked for 11 days although no reviews were present. Pleasantly suprised at condition and location of the property versus the photos. Condo was clean and well stocked including beach chairs, beach equipment, and cooler in patio storage room. Development is a gated community that is very quiet and has usable beach and pool. Encountered only minor issues with the kitchen faucet and ice maker. Would book again.

Liked the quiet and friendly neighbor hood. The drive in and out of property is challenging, would help to cut brush for better view. Dryer did not work but made do. Was not quite sure what to do. Contacted office but not told what would happen. Overall a great stay and peaceful.

Great location, clean, nice AC

Townhouse is in a great location on the property. Close to pool but not directly next to it so you don’t have to worry about the noise. Nice easy walk to beach. Remember to rent some surf boards during your stay. The surf is great. Place was clean. Plenty of cups, plates bowl etc. and all the cooking utensils you’ll need. Not many (if any) spices, sugar etc. that is the only thing that was missing. Supply some spices so I don’t have to load up for just a week. Ac worked great. Kept the unit cool. It was for sure needed in the evening when it’s still super hot outside.

Pontos positivos: Check-in e localização

Ups and Downs

To start, I will make it clear that I have HIGH expectations when I pay for something. It seemed that the place must have been recently sprayed for insects. The smell was overwhelming for a few days. Two dead roaches greeted us in the property at arrival. One of the spreads on a bed had blood on it. The gated community was quiet and pleasant. The air conditioning was definitely nice and location was good for us. The pool was closed and more definitive locations of amenities would have been nice. Overall, it was okay.

So many good things to say. The place was well-equipped with everything you need for a great time in Maui. Super short walk to the amazing ocean-front pool, a great surf break, and a beautiful beach. The hosts were super communicative and helpful. The back patio and garden is beautiful. The best part - the master bed is the most comfortable bed my husband and I have ever slept in. I miss it.

Aloha Lea, Thank you so much for the beautiful review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the garden patio, the close walk to the ocean-front pool, and that the property had everything you needed for a perfect Maui getaway. We will definitely pass along your compliments about the master bed—there is truly nothing better than a great night's sleep after a day out on the water! It was an absolute pleasure hosting you both, and we hope to welcome you back to paradise very soon. Mahalo, Vacation-Maui Team
