Excellent stay and location

This house provided everything we needed in our trip to Sawyer. Our love of Warren Dunes State Park made the decision to book the house an easy one, it's right across the street from the park! For us, the backyard, with it's tree canopy and perfect fire pit, was the gem of the property. We will definitely return.

Home away from home

This was our 2nd visit and once again thoroughly loved our stay. Our grandkids liked the swing set, game closet, and time with family. My friends and I made every meal here with the well stocked kitchen. The place is so clean! We loved the 10 minute walk to the beach, available beach chairs and all the lake had to offer. Even on a rainy day there was ping pong in the basement, Netflix, and time on the porch. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful relaxing home

This is the second time we have stayed at this home for a MI summer vacation. The house is so clean and welcoming, the bedrooms are comfortable, the dining room table is great for eating and game playing but the best is the back porch. We appreciate that there is a washer and dryer and all the extra amenities such as: a stocked kitchen, grill, beach toys and towels, highchair, pack n plays, and the wagon. The fire-pit is great to have for the cooler evenings.

Wonderful family time

We had a perfect trip! The host was very helpful in getting us settled and being available for any questions I had! The house itself was amazing! Everything you needed was there. A home owner was extremely thoughtful leaving small things you wouldn’t think might be necessary available in case you needed it! I’m so grateful for a wonderful family time ! So grateful!!

Best cottage ever!

You always hope your VRBO matches the pictures online and meets your expectations. This one surpassed and hit it out of the park in every way! The only way I could pack up and head back home was knowing I'd be returning as soon as I could. It is SOOO clean, well equipped, and great location with an easy walk to the lake. I was joined by 3 friends for a ladies getaway, but it would be equally perfect for a family with children. We had fantastic weather but if it had rained we could have still gathered comfortably on the front or back porch. There was a lot to do in Sawyer and surrounding towns...shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, the dunes....even found a pickleball court and enjoyed that in Stevensville. I'll be back!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay; the house is comfortable and clean, great layout and very welcoming. We even used the outdoor shower and would have used fire pit but weather was hot or raining. We had a couple bad storms and power went out our last night but Marcie could not have been nicer about it. The only negative is mattresses in bunk room are a bit hard. I would stay again though!!

Family Lake Michigan trip

The pictures online don’t do this home justice Very nicely furnished and decorated -larger than we thought Large master suite with own bath Large living areas with even a finished basement for kids and teenagers to hang out Nice wooded area with close walking distance to Lake Michigan Screened in porch was a bonus too Beach chairs, toys and firewood in large shed in back yard

Relaxing Stay

You could tell walking around the house that the owners thought of everything you might need to feel like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend staying there again. Any questions I would have, they were right there available to answer, and checked up on us to make sure everything was going okay. If you are looking for a quiet getaway close to the beach, this is the place. Thank you so much for opening your home!

Wonderful!

Very clean and neat; everything provided for beach and family fun. Host checked in via text every so often which was good to know as any issue (and there were none!) could be addressed promptly. The fire pit, screened porch and swing set were some of the best features, plus room to spread out with quiet spaces due to the two indoor living rooms. We were 6 adults and two small kids. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful MI home

This house was so welcoming from the minute we pulled into the driveway. On our first walk thru we were delighted with the cleanliness, decor, and all of the amenities. We enjoyed both porches, especially the screened in back porch, the fire pit, and the outdoor shower to get off the sand from the nearby beach. The house truly welcomes you with the comfortable bedding, closet full of games, and the downstairs play room. The property is very well maintained and up to date. A wonderful stay was had by all!

Serene getaway

We had an amazing stay on our first visit to Sawyer. We would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. Great location to local attractions, yet the property is so calm, inviting, and well equipped, staying home is a great option too! We hope to return in the future!

Birthday get away

This is our 2nd time renting this property. When you find a GEM, why rent elsewhere. Location and tranquility is what you have, located in a wooded lot, steps to the beach and a short car ride to all the little towns near by, The place is spotless has everything that you need to enjoy a relaxing time. Can’t wait to book again!!!

LOOK NO FURTHER~BOOK IT

The place was amazing! Clean, cozy/home feeling and location, owners have it equipped and stocked with everything you need. . Campfires at night, house backs up to woods so very private, walk a few blocks down the road to the Warren Dunes Beach. 3min. car ride to downtown Sawyer, 8min. ride to Three Oaks. Best time ever ~ cant wait to go back

Perfect Family Stay

Property was perfect for our family. House was clean, neat, and well stocked. Loved the screen porch area for breakfast and playing games. Despite never meeting the property owners or manager they managed to still provide a warm welcome and great hospitality. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect location close to Warren Dunes

My wife, daughter and I had a great time at this property. The house was setup perfectly for our family. The owner provided many extras to make the trip special. We’re already planning our next trip. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Excellent!

We had a great stay. The house is comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The vacation guide book was especially helpful with tips and suggestions. I appreciated the manager reaching out before check in. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Terrific week in Sawyer

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly as it was in the photos. Everything was very clean and the welcome basket with S’mores and wine were very thoughtful and appreciative. The beach items in the shed were all top notch - the umbrella was great and the kids loved the sand toys and the floats. The house does have a finished basement with a football table. I didn’t notice that in the listing. So finding that was a plus as it also managed to temporarily divert the kids. It’s an easy 20 min walk to the beach from the house and we noticed the beach was much less crowded than it was closer to the main area of Warren Dunes. Overall we had a terrific stay and we would definitely return.

Wonderful location and great for families!

This property was very clean and appeared to be recently updated. Kitchen was small but well-stocked. Plenty of towels, linens and thoughtful touches for guests. We dined and showered outdoors every day! The kids loved the bunkbeds, swingset and firepit for s'mores. We saw deer go through the wooded backyard and the location is perfect; right across the street from Warren Dunes State Park. The shed has multiple beach items to borrow. Communication with the owners and property manager was excellent with a helpful binder for local tips. Highly recommend this property!

We bought this home because we just couldn't get enough of Harbor Country. Over the years, we have enjoyed the long summer days, beautiful beaches and sunsets and all the wonderful restaurants, breweries, and wineries Southwest Michigan has to offer. We have looked forward to our Michigan trips every year and when we found this home, we knew it was the perfect fit for our summer getaways.
Marcie also grew up in Sawyer on this exact same road! Marcie and Mike loving bringing their two kids here all year long to play in the great outdoors and enjoy a simpler way of life. We hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do!

This property is uniquely situated on a wooded lot adjacent to Warren Dunes State Park. Enjoy the local beaches, gourmet restaurants, and wineries and breweries. Water sports readily available with kayak and paddleboard rentals at the State Park.
