Welcome to "Matahari" - absolute beach-front home in sunny Tairua!

"Matahari" means "Sun" in Indonesian.

Wake up to the warmth of the sun, and the sound of the waves - with the beach at your doorstep.

This large, lockwood home has been loved by the same family for over 20 years. They are now ready to share their slice of beach-front paradise, for guests to make lasting memories like they have.

Ideal for families, the home is very generous in size, and offers plenty of space for up to 10 guests. We allow a maximum of 8 adults, as the top bunk beds are not suitable for adults.

The main living, kitchen and dining area upstairs enjoys gorgeous sea views. There is a projector which doubles as a large screen Smart TV.

Featuring 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, plus a rumpus room, which is a great hang-out area for the kids!

Town centre is just a short 3 minute drive, where you will find shops, restaurants, cafe's, takeaways and the Tairua Golf & Country Club.

Please note - as there are two levels of the home, there are internal stairs to be mindful of.

Bedroom 3: 2 x Sets of Single bunks (4x Single beds. Top bunks are not suitable for adults)
Bedroom 4: 2 x Single Beds

House Rules and Information

Parking: 4 x off street parking, including boat parking. There is no garage, as this has been converted into storage.

Security Cameras: There are external cameras set up at the front and rear of the property for security purposes.

Pet-friendly: If you wish to bring your pet with you, you must discuss this with us prior to booking. The property has basic farm-fencing. Charges apply for bringing a pet.

Linen included – we are a holiday home management company who use professionally laundered linen & towels.

Cleaning – exit clean included in nightly rate.

STRICTLY no parties, events or loud groups. Neighbours are very close and are to be respected at all times.
