The house was nicely decorated and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Stacey and Scott do a wonderful job as VRBO hosts!

I’m an Erie native so I know the neighborhood, and it’s one of the prettiest in town. As the listing states, it’s close to everything. The house was clean, has lots of nice gathering areas and the kitchen is very well stocked. We enjoyed our stay!

What a great place to stay. This has to be the BEST property we have ever stayed at. It had everything you need. The towels were lovely, the kitchen is truly well stocked, the bathrooms were wonderful, and the beds in all the bedrooms were so comfortable. I appreciated the communication with the owners. I am a not be more happy with the choice I made to stay here. The location was perfect for what we needed. Kudos to the owners

We had a great stay over our son’s graduation weekend. As a multi-gen family group it allowed us to really spend time together with others who came to town as well. Very clean, kitchen is well stocked, beds are very comfortable. We will definitely return here for any future visits. Highly recommend.

Best vrbo by far!

The owners are wonderful and helpful. The place is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed staying here. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a wonderful time. House is beautiful and comfortable, with many thoughtful details for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, very close to all of the fun things to do in Erie. We had a great visit.

Glenwood Retreat was perfect for our stay in Erie for a soccer tournament. The owners put in a lot of time to make sure the property comfortable for their guests. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

We enjoyed our stay in Glenwood! Grocery store, Walgreens and small liquor store are all a quick drive from the house. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen well supplied with nice pots, pans, dishes, and 2 coffee makers.

The place is the perfect retreat. You have absolutely everything to enjoy your home away from home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need to make your visit comfortable. The outdoor patio was probably my favorite. It’s absolutely beautiful. So peaceful with lots of huge trees to keep it so comfortable even in the 90 degree weather we had. The house is in a very peaceful neighborhood and close to anything you want to enjoy while visiting Erie. Hope to get back to Erie again and would definitely rebook this property. On a side note I can’t say enough about how the host went above and beyond for us. We left a valuable at the house and they did everything to get it safely returned to us. They are awesome!!

Amazing property. We were so very pleased with this rental. It is very homey, clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. So many added conveniences like phone chargers, Keurig, Soda Stream, kettle. The patio was such a nice little retreat. The location is close to shopping and dining. Super happy. Hope to stay there again soon.

This home was the perfect place for our first extended family getaway. There were 3 families, 8 people in all, 6 adults, a one year old and an 18 month old. There was plenty of room for all of us. We had most of our meals at the house and the kitchen was VERY well equipped with everything a cook could possibly want. The back yard and deck were wonderful and we enjoyed our meals there under a shady umbrella. The grill worked great! And we loved the solar lights that came on after sundown. The overstuffed furniture was extremely comfortable and made us feel at home. It was easy to get to the Erie attractions like Waldemeer Water Park, the zoo and Presque Isle. The home was well maintained and clean. The hosts were easy to contact and friendly. We just loved our experience and highly recommend this house!

Scott said Stacey were exceptional hosts. Very friendly and so helpful showing their house and answering any questions we had. Their house was beautiful and sparkling clean! Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more! There are a lot of steps so you need to take that in consideration. Very close to shops, casino,beaches, and restaurants . I would highly recommend this house!

Very nice home . Very clean too. However too many stairs for us . Upstairs got warm at night while down stairs was cool. Upstairs shower is really small too. The steps in front of house are not level and if one Is older or has mobility issues , it is difficult to use them. The location is very good. Close to shopping, but still a very quiet neighborhood.

Hi Renee We are sorry that you ran into some issues during your stay. We arrived yesterday to attend to some routine maintenance duties. As for the upstairs being warm at night, we discovered that all the upstairs vents had been closed (possibly by the previous guests who brought along toddlers). Yesterday was 87 degrees and humid in Erie and, after opening the vents, the upstairs was quite comfortable last night. We understand that you has some challenges with the front step. While the issue has never been raised by any of the over 100 guests that have visited the home this year(many of them seniors), following from your experience, we have called a contractor to give us an assessment and, if warranted, explore possible remediation. Again, thank you for your feedback and for staying at our Glenwood Retreat. Stacey & Scott

After a string of bad stays, particularly revolving around cleanliness, this was a breath of fresh air! House had basically everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. We accidentally broke a pair of scissors and the hosts were approachable about it. Great experience overall and really helped us have a great getaway. Note to the owners: The basement has low ceilings (and signage, which is very considerate!). Nonetheless, two of us hit our heads on the low ceiling here. At a different stay, another guest got a concussion for a similar reason. There's a low block in the middle of the room that could genuinely do damage. I'd recommend you add a rubber or foam corner guard as a further precaution/risk aversion.
