THE CORAL RESORT WATERFRONT OASIS

A classic low-rise "Old Florida" resort set directly on the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway, blending original character with updated amenities. Five small turquoise buildings wrap around a single sunlit pool deck and courtyard. There are only a handful of units in total, so it never feels crowded the way the high-rise hotels a block over do. The courtyard opens straight onto the resort's private dock, with open bay, passing boats and marina views in every direction. Step outside to a heated pool, a private fishing dock, and a grill-side patio, with the Gulf beaches a short walk in the other direction.

* Heated Outdoor Pool: large, open to the sky and sheltered from the wind by the surrounding buildings; open year-round and lit for evening swims

LIVING & DINING AREA
* The View: This is the headline. Wide windows on the water side frame the Intracoastal, the resort's dock and the boats coming and going, and the glass front door does the same. You can watch the bay from the sectional without getting up.
* Layout: A generous open living and dining room, easily the roomiest space of its kind at the resort, with the kitchen opening onto it across a marble-look breakfast bar.
* Seating: A large L-shaped sectional, a full-size second sofa and an oversized armchair, so a group of four is not negotiating over cushions. Plus a bench and a low coffee table.
* Queen Sleeper Sofa: One of the sofas folds out to a queen bed, so guests three and four get a proper mattress rather than an air bed on the floor. Extra linens and blankets are provided.
* Dining Nook: A round pedestal table with a beaded chandelier above it, tucked into a bay-window corner with a built-in banquette bench and dining chairs. Breakfast with the water in front of you.
* Breakfast Bar: Two woven bistro stools at the kitchen peninsula, under the TV.
* Style: Bright, current coastal. Crisp white trim and crown molding, wood-look plank flooring, a fluted-slat accent wall behind the television, printed drapes, blue-and-coral textiles and framed heron artwork.
* Entertainment: A large wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable on the accent wall, angled to the whole room.

THE BEDROOM
* A Separate Room: A true bedroom behind a door, with its own bath, so the living room can stay a living room.
* The Bed: A king bed with a warm wood headboard, fresh linens, pillows and extra blankets. A king in a one-bedroom this close to the water is not something you will find twice on this island.
* En Suite Bath: Your own bathroom off the bedroom, with a walk-in shower, so no midnight trips across the apartment.
* Second TV: A wall-mounted flat-screen TV opposite the bed.
* Comfort: A quiet ceiling fan, crown molding, and windows on two walls with blinds and full-length drapes for a properly dark room.
* Storage: A louvered double closet, a full-width dresser, a garment rack and a reading chair. Real places to unpack.

* A Real Kitchen: Not a hot plate and a mini-fridge. You get a full electric range and oven, a full-height stainless refrigerator with a bottom freezer, an over-range microwave and a dishwasher, so you can genuinely cook rather than just reheat.

YOUR PRIVATE ENTRANCE & OUTDOOR SPACE
* Your Own Front Door: B-1 sits on the ground floor of Building B and opens directly to the outside from a covered porch, up brick steps with a handrail. No shared corridors, no lobby, no waiting on an elevator with a cooler in each hand.
* The Waterfront Porch: This is the good one. The covered porch looks straight down the lawn to the seawall, the dock and the open bay, with the pool immediately to one side. Sunrise coffee here is the whole reason to book B-1.
* Steps to the Pool Deck: The heated pool, sun loungers and courtyard tables are a few paces from your porch.
* Out to the Water: The lawn runs from your porch to the seawall and the resort's private dock, so the water is a walk of seconds, not minutes.
* Parking: On-site parking, so groceries and beach chairs come straight in.

PRIME CLEARWATER BEACH LOCATION

East Shore Drive is the quiet side of the island, the bay side. You get the calm water, the boats and the sunrise, and you are still only a few blocks from everything people come to Clearwater Beach for.
* The Beach: Roughly a five-minute walk to the award-winning white sand and clear, warm Gulf water, regularly ranked among the best beaches in the country.
* Pier 60 Park: Fishing pier, playground, and the nightly Sunsets at Pier 60 festival with street performers and craft vendors, all within walking distance.
* Beach Walk Promenade: The palm-lined waterfront promenade along Gulfview Boulevard, lined with restaurants and shops, is a few blocks away.
* Clearwater Beach Marina: Dolphin-watching cruises, sunset sails, jet ski and boat rentals and deep-sea fishing charters launch just up the waterfront from the resort.
* Clearwater Marine Aquarium: A must-do for families, just minutes away across the causeway.
* Shops & Beach Bars: Local seafood spots, casual beach bars, ice cream, surf shops and souvenir shopping all close at hand on Mandalay Avenue.

EASY-ACCESS FEATURES

B-1 is one of the easier apartments at the resort to live in day to day, but please read this section carefully. It is not a step-free or certified accessible unit.
* Please note, brick steps at the entrance: The apartment is on the ground floor of Building B, but the covered porch and front door are reached by a short flight of brick steps with a handrail. There is no ramp and no step-free route to the door. Guests who cannot manage a few steps should contact us before booking so we can check other suites.
* Once inside: no interior stairs and no elevator. The entire apartment is on one level.
* Step-in walk-in shower in the en suite, with no tub wall to climb over.
* Two bathrooms, so there is never a wait and never a long walk.
* Laundry on the same level, inside the apartment, with no basement or outbuilding to get to.
* Parking a few paces from your private front door, and the pool deck sits on the same level as the courtyard.

CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING
* Steps at the Front Door: B-1 is a ground-floor apartment with no interior stairs, but there are brick steps up to the covered porch and front door, with a handrail. There is no ramp or step-free entry. Please reach out before booking if that is a concern.
* Waterfront, Not Beachfront: The apartment sits directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, which is where the view and the dock come from. The Gulf beach is a short walk away rather than directly out the back door.
* Poolside Location: Being steps from the pool means easy access and a great view. It also means some daytime activity outside your window, which light sleepers may want to keep in mind.
* One Bedroom Plus a Sleeper: There is a single bedroom, with the king in it. Guests three and four sleep on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room, which is a genuinely comfortable bed but is in the open living space rather than behind a door.
* Historic Property: The Coral Resort is a lovingly maintained "Old Florida" property. The interiors are fully renovated, but the buildings themselves carry their original character. That is part of the charm, and worth knowing if you are expecting a new-build high-rise.
* Entertainment: The TVs are set up with cable rather than streaming-loaded smart TVs. You are welcome to sign in to your own apps if the sets support it.
* Dock Use: Guests are welcome to fish from the dock and enjoy it any time. Swimming and diving from the dock are not permitted, and boats and jet skis cannot be tied up at the dock. If you are bringing a vessel, there are marinas and public ramps nearby; let us know and we will point you to the closest options.
