This beautiful one bedroom cabin, located on over an acre lot, has everything you need for a romantic getaway or family trip. You can enjoy the brand new hot tub, wifi, 50 in TV, soothing jacuzzi tub or just the peacefulness of the area surrounding the cabin. In April 2024, new den furniture was added. If you want to enjoy the highlights nearby, the cabin is conveniently located less than 6 miles to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center and 2.7 miles to the Arts and Crafts Community. It truly has the best of both worlds- privacy and a convenient location! **We do not use Craigslist or FB Marketplace to advertise our property so if you are seeing it through either of them, you are being scammed and should report it.**

Other things to note

The fireplace is closed from May 1st - Oct 1st. In light of the recent fires in Gatlinburg, it is super important that fireplace rules be followed.
The cabin is equipped with two 24/7 audio/video exterior security cameras, one facing the front door and one facing the driveway. They are on to prevent theft and for the security of our residence. Tampering with the camera in any way will result in immediate eviction and no refund. On your bill, VRBO lists the cleaning fee as "Host Fee." That amount goes directly to our cleaning crew.

The communication was excellent. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The best part for us was the sparkling hot tub and the comfortable bed, not too firm or too soft. The location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is ideal for most but we prefer to be more secluded. The pool table and gaming machine were fun entertainment. We had very limited cell service so the Wi-Fi was nice. Perfect for a couple.

Great Trip!

Once again, staying at DeeDee's cabin was a hit. We loved how clean and quiet is was. Check in process was a cinch, and DeeDee is a fabulous host with communication before, during, and after our stay. We will definitely come back in the future.

Cozy, clean cabin

We enjoyed every inch of this super cozy cabin during our weekend visit! We relaxed on the deck, listened to birdsong while in the hot tub, played pool in the game room upstairs and cooked a leisurely breakfast in the well- equipped kitchen. It was the perfect place to escape our hectic lives and just chill and enjoy each other’s company. The host was very detail oriented in all her communications. The cabin was meticulously clean. We will definitely be back to visit!

What a Wonderful Getaway!!!

True Love is the best getaway for a couple!! The place is exactly as described in the listing. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed while away from home. Dee Dee was prompt to respond with any questions we had during our whole stay. We will definitely be back in the future when we head back to east TN!! I think the whole time we were in the cabin the TV may have come on for an hour total because there was so much to do, from hanging in the hot tub, playing pool, Yahtzee, cards, arcade games, or just sleeping the morning away in the super comfy bed. The only hesitation I had was the crazy drive up to the cabin. It is definitely not for the faint of heart with all the blind curves and downward dips, like coming down from a roller coaster and not seeing the road beneath your car, and narrow paths. It won't stop us from coming back but I will make sure hubby drives again! You won't be disappointed if you book this get away with Dee Dee at True Love!!

Wonderful location

The cabin was beautiful and very relaxing, with plenty to do. The location was wonderful very quite and serene just far enough from the main road but not too far. It was great to see the bears so near the cabin. The hottub was covered and great for a rainy afternoon. We will be back.

Cozy little cabin, perfect for romantic getaway!

We just returned home from our trip! This little cabin is charming, quiet and peaceful. My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary here and it was everything we hoped for! The owner is wonderful and extremely helpful! The cabin was clean and neat! We would definitely stay here again!!

Our Vrbo experience

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved every minute of this cabin. We stayed inside for a good majority of our stay. We watched movies, played pool and enjoyed the cool afternoon in the hot tub. We both had a hard time packing up to leave because we did not want to leave at all. It was home sweet home to us.

Almost perfect

We enjoyed everything about the cabin, the host and the area. We only encountered one issue (the neighbor's dog barking all night) and the Dee Dee took care of it immediately even though it really didn't have anything to do with her. Communication was great, check in process was a breeze, you just drive to the cabin and unlock the door...pretty easy. Highly recommend!!!

Nice cabin

Cabin was clean! DeeDee was great…she even left a gift, which was sweet! We had everything that we needed. Even though I saw the steps in the photo, I didn’t realize how steep they were. The driveway is very steep as well. The location is quiet though and we appreciated that.

2nd Anniversary get away

Our stay was perfect! DeeDee was easy to communicate with, explained how everything worked, made sure we had everything. She even got us an anniversary picture frame when we arrived! It was so sweet! The cabin was spotless the hot tub was awesome to hang out in after a long day of shopping and sight seeing. We will definitely be booking again!

**We do not advertise on Craigslist or FB so if you are seeing the cabin on either of them, you should report it for scamming as we want to protect our guests.** We fell in love with and purchased this cabin in the spring of 2020. We knew as soon as we saw it, we had to have this cabin and it really was True Love. We then started our massive renovations so our guests could enjoy it. The beautiful acre plus lot and the open cathedral ceilings of the cabin are perfect for a romantic couples getaway or small family vacation. We added a brand new hot tub, dishwasher, water filtration system, wifi and a 60 inch HDTV. We then spent days cleaning and staining the deck and adding special touches so that every guest would love it like we do! We love being hosts and sharing the cabin and beauty of the Smoky Mountains with incredible guests from around the world. Want privacy- you can have it. Want to visit Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or the Arts & Crafts Community-- they are all less than 6 miles away. You truly can have it all at True Love!

We chose this property because it has the best of both worlds! You get wonderful privacy since the cabin sits on 1.2 acres of land but you are also less than 6 miles from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, if you want to visit all of the attractions! The beautiful privacy of the mountains combined with the convenient location of the cabin makes True Love a special place.
