Summary:
House is ready after Hurricane Milton. All ceramic floors with new kitchen including granite counter tops, dishwasher, microwave, Living room has plenty of seating and smart TV. Master bedroom has TV, his & hers closets and master bathroom. 2nd bedroom has two twin beds with dresser and lamp. Central air and both bedrooms have ceiling fans to keep you comfortable.Outdoors there is a patio to soak up the gorgeous Florida sun. There is a washer dryer too. We provide linens and allow pets.

The Space:
Newly renovated kitchen and bath. About a 10 minute drive to Siesta Key beach! We provide starter paper towels and toilet paper. Please bring your own beach towels.

Guest Access:
Access instructions are emailed and texted at 11am the day of arrival. Check in is 4pm. Check out is 11am.

A short stay in a little house.

We were in Sarasota for a youth rowing competition. This home fit our needs perfectly and the location of the home was was also perfectly located.

Quiet Roomy Home

They property is in a good location off of a main road but very quiet. It is quite roomy and has a nice backyard if you have a dog. The house was very clean and bright.

Great stay near everything!

Great communication with rental folks. Lots of space, including a big kitchen. Small yard for my dog. Near everything, including restaurants and grocery stores like Trader Joeā€™s. Lots to do nearby! Cable and Roku TV. Happy with my stay. Thank you!

Holiday vistit

The property was clean and adequately equipped. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes very well, but everything else worked fine. My dogs liked the small backyard and the neighbors were friendly. I was looking at Sarasota as a place to live and although I will pass on moving there, the house was fine. We even had a BBQ one night. Overall, good clean location for a quick stay.

Close to the Beach

My husband was very disappointed with the outside appearance. We were happy to have a fenced yard for our dog. Inside was clean, and nice but there were lots of small things that needed to be fixed such as light bulbs were out, all three ceiling fans needed a cord to shut off, fire alarms needed batteries, not enough towels, only three chairs at the table, and things needed for grilling. Jeremy, part property owner came to fix a place on the roof. When he heard our concerns, he rectified many needs and thanked us for letting him know. I believe management needs a better handle on making sure all these issues are taken care of. Maybe the cleaning staff also should report the things that they notice as well.

Not as advertised

The property was listed and shown in photos as pet friendly with a fenced in back yard. The fence was on the ground and the yard was a mess with roof shingles remaining after the hurricanes three months earlier.There was mold growing on the outside of the house.The living room furniture was different from that shown in the photos.Bath towels had shreds of cloth hanging from them. Shower curtain rod was rusted.The floors were not very clean.Window blinds were brokenWindows were dirty.The front door was sagging from the hinges so sunshine entered the room from the openings at the top and bottom.The washing machine lid was rusted.One of the dresser drawers was broken.There were only four clothes hangers. We bought more.The bottom of the water/ice dispenser on the refrigerator was filthy.There were stains and holes in the ceiling.The bath exhaust vents were dirty.The door to the laundry area was off its track.We were asked to take the trash barrels to the curb.

Sarasota home

This house, was perfect for our quick trip to Sarasota, about 5 miles to Siesta Key. Close to shops and resturants too. Staying here made me get to know Sarasota a little more, than just a few areas. Would recommend for a group of 4.

First experience with Vrbo

We would definitely rent this house again. Its location was great, meeting our needs well for the reasons we were visiting Sarasota. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. Management responded quickly to all concerns...minor ones as we were not familiar with the process of Vrbo rentals at all and likely had some very silly questions. The neighborhood was quiet, felt very safe there. Easy access onto Bee Ridge and Beneva to cut across to the Westgate Mall area. Fenced in area out back worked well for our 7 month old puppy. There are aloe plants in the back but I just kept an eye on Nash to keep him out of the aloe. Very close to shopping, a variety of restaurants, and, of course, the beach! Love Morton's so that was our first stop. Best lunch ever and something for everyone. We have lunch at Morton's at least once every time we go to Sarasota. It rained almost daily while we were there so it would have been great to have rugs at back entrance.

As advertised. Close to most everything.

Enjoyed our stay. Check in was a little shaky but Owner resolved very quickly. SMACKS ice cream can solve a lot of little issues. I will stay again... Thanks...

Comfortable beds, no bugs, clean, plenty of linen, good cable TV with Roku etc, garage, close to restaurants and shopping. There were only bare minimum supplies. Two partial rolls of TP, no trash bags, no paper towels, no Kleenex, no laundry detergent. There was a pile of smelly trash bags in front of the garage door from the last occupants. The owners sent someone to deal with that. One of the toilets was cracked but the owner said not to worry about it.

Great little place to stay in Southgate

This house was exactly what my family of 4 needed. Clean, not too big or too overly decorated (an issue when traveling with a wild toddler who wants to touch everything!) and close to where we needed to be. The kids were very happy to have some beach toys to borrow, always an added bonus!

Convenient Location

This lovely home is not only close to the downtown area, roof top @ the Westin Hotel, Marina Jacks and the beach, but also shopping. The home was very clean and nicely stocked with toys for children beach chairs & beach towels. The pot & pans look brand new and well stocked dishes and glassware. The beds are comfortable. the back yard has a patio set and nice lighting. I would highly recomed this home. I will be back next year.

Clean and very lovely

I really enjoyed staying here with my family of five for the week. Sarasota is a wonderful location and the home was nicely renovated. We enjoyed using the kitchen which already had almost everything we needed including plates, cups, utensils, pots and pans, kitchen appliances and some condiments as well as coffee. Overall it was clean, there was extra towels and linens in the closet, a lot of closet room and drawer space. I would highly recommend this place and prefer it over staying at a hotel plus the price was right. The smart tv was great for watching movies together and for down time, a lot of great local restuarants and a 24-hr Walmart within less than 5 miles away. This home met my expectations and made my vacation very enjoyable.
