You’re just minutes from the Peak 8 base area and Historic Downtown Breckenridge on the free shuttle route. Your family and friends will love it … and you’ll love the value!

This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo is clean and comfortable, and it has everything a group of up to seven needs for a great stay in the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the living space with new counters and stainless-steel appliances. Whip up a home-cooked meal one night, then check out Breck’s vibrant restaurant scene the next night! The living area has comfy seating on the leather furniture and a flat-screen TV for catching the game or the morning snow report.

Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, central laundry facilities, shared hot tubs and a private ski locker. And like every Summit Mountain Rentals property, we supply all linens, basic toiletries, and the home is professionally cleaned and inspected before every arrival. Plus, our local staff is available 24/7 to help make your stay as enjoyable and worry-free as possible with an office located right downtown.

Close to everything Breck has to offer

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gold Camp 2 is in the perfect location. Just a few steps to the shuttle stop... 1 stop from Peak 7 and 2 stops from Peak 8. No parking fees, perfect! Only minutes from Main Street, also. The condo was well stocked with cooking supplies, towels, linens, etc and great condition.

Good

Stay was good. There were no sponges or rags to do dishes with in the kitchen. The hot tub was cold one of the 3 days. Otherwise a great location and easy access to town and skiing via shuttle.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great little place to stay. Especially if you are skiing. Bus stop is across the street and you can go from condo to lift lines in about 10 min or less. You really don't even need your car. We road the bus into town for shopping and eating out. Loved it. Condo was clean and well furnished. Everything was great. Also had great communication with Summit Mountain Rentals. Would definitely recommend.

ABSOLUTELY no complaints. Another great experience

The condo has always been spotless clean, the kitchen stocked with everything you'd need to cook a meal and the mattress in the M-bedroom is very comfortable. Will stay here again.

Great location with awesome condo

The place was perfect for our needs. Was clean, very well appointed and was an incredibly relaxing place to stay for the trip. The hot tub and laundry facilities were just a short distance away and we don’t have one complaint as all. Had a great trip in Breckenridge and the surrounding areas, and would definitely try to get the same place next time we go

Mining Gold at the Camp

Property was perfect for our trip, extra sink/mirror a nice add. Shuttle just across street, really no need for a vehicle. Will be returning in the coming seasons

Good location. Quiet property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is in a good location close to Peak 8 with the bus stop very close to walk to. If you're in the condition to take a longer walk, you can access 4 o'clock run to Snowflake lift to get on the mountain (approximately 3-4 block walk on the street. You can then end your day by skiing back via 4 o'clock (remember the 3-4 block walk back). Our only disappointments were the limited hot tub hours (open 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm) and the incredibly uncomfortable queen bed in bedroom 1. The mattress is extremely firm. The guests staying in that room had 4 nights of no sleep. This is also advertised to accommodate 7 guests. Careful with this unless you have small kids that will sleep anywhere.

Good basic accommodation

The booking process was easy, check-in was slightly complicated by no instructions being provided, but a quick call to the agent had them on site in 10 mins. This is an older property that is very clean and well presented, with a reasonable living area and kitchen. There was no space for food storage which was surprising. The kitchen window needs a blind as it is on the ground floor in full view of the car park. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. The bathroom layout is odd, with a small shower sharing a room with the only toilet, and 2 separate sinks in alcoves outside the shower/toilet room. With teenagers/young adults taking long showers the lack of a second toilet is a problem. The TV is good but the channels/satellite system is a mystery to visitors from overseas, and there was no instruction card which would be very helpful. Noise can be an issue in this older complex. We had a young family above us and the normal noises made by young children thundering about was quite intrusive, particularly early in the morning. There was no ski storage area which meant skis/clothing/etc had to be stored on mats inside the front door, in the living area and down the hall. No big deal but it meant having to empty water out of the mats daily. There was access to a shared hot tub(s) close by onsite, but we avoided them in these covid times. It is in a good location to access the 4 o'clock run and the free shuttle, but a long way from town/shops etc making a car mandatory really. Overall we had a great time in Breck, and this was good quality older accommodation.

Good stay

Had a great time. Only issues were that the heating wasn't great, the fridge was leaking and the cable channels on the tv had a color issue.

Gold Camp J135 Condo Review

My friend and I stayed at Gold Camp for a 4-day ski trip and we really enjoyed our stay. The owners definitely made some great upgrades to an older property, and I loved that this unit was accessible from the outside (meaning that we didn't have to go inside and take the stairs to access the front door of the unit). The location to the Breck base, bus stop and town was perfect! We would definitely stay here again but would give future visitors a heads up on the following: 1. The ski/snowboard locker did not work so we weren't able to store our equipment there. 2. The renters provided toiletries but housekeeping kept used lotion and shampoo bottles from the previous visitors. Since these were travel sized and similar to what you'd get a hotel, we were surprised that they weren't tossed and replaced with new ones. This was not a huge deal by any means and shouldn't be a deal breaker for staying here, but we wanted to let other travelers know incase they're dependent on these type of items when traveling. 3. Finally, we thought it was strange that we had to empty the garbage on departure despite paying a significant housekeeping/cleaning fee.

Perfect location between Peak 8 and town.

Great location for us to mountain bike, hike and shop. Bus stop right outside of complex. Very quiet.

Great property & great location!

We loved staying at this property. It was roomy & clean. Internet worked great. The only recommendation I can make is some blinds or curtains on the kitchen window. You can see into the kitchen from the parking lot at night. We would certainly stay here again on future trips to Breck!

First trip to Breck...

The property was perfectly located as it was an easy walk to both the downtown area as well as the mountain. The condo was extremely clean and came equipped with everything needed for a summer vacation in the mountains. I would definitley stay here again!
