Welcome to The Salty Kiss located in historic Torbay, Newfoundland and Labrador. Your cozy place to stay while visiting the avalon peninsula. The area we are located at is a quiet, friendly neighborhood.

The property is fully fenced with a gated driveway. A perfect place for your children or pets to safely run around and play. With large mature trees for your privacy and open space. The driveway is long and has a turn-around at the end to help when you are parking your vehicle. There is also a private light pole in the backyard for bright lighting during the night.

The furnished apartment is located in the back of the home with your own entrance and smart lock for easy access. The lock code will be given to you prior to checking in. The kitchen is fully equipped for when your ready to cook your meals. We provide complementary wifi, linens, towels, cable tv, and of course a coffee station setup with k-cup machine, and everything you need to get your morning started right.

It's conveniently located close to the Torbay Common community center with a playground, splash pad, skatepark, book exchange box and electric vehicle changing station. The spacious new facility is great for having meetings, birthday parties, sports and events.

Within walking distance to an amazing coffee shop that serves the best food, local bakery, and The Post Taphouse. Down over the hill further is the oldest bar in Newfoundland Mrs. Liddy's and next to it is Mary Brown's. You're just feet away from the east coast trail that gives you close access to beautiful coastal views along with challenging hiking trails.

Couple things to note that Torbay does not have public transit so a rental, personal vehicle, taxi or Uber is a must to travel longer distances. Kindly be advised that the airport terminal is 12 minutes away and downtown St. John's is around 17 minutes or so.
