Relaxing Carnelian Bay Retreat - within walking distance to lake

Close to all that Lake Tahoe has to offer, this updated and family-friendly home is surrounded by mature pine trees at the end of a quiet cul de sac, and features large decks, beautiful alder woodwork throughout, a renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a floor to ceiling river rock wood burning fireplace and large welcoming living spaces. Four bedrooms and two baths on two stories with a loft, provides sleeping accommodation for 10 with 3 queen beds, an extra twin, and a bunk room. After a day on the lake (a short 5 minute walk away), settle into the sunken seating area in front of the stone fireplace, shoot some pool on the antique pool table, or hang outside and enjoy a drink on the large furnished decks. The home is equipped with wifi, cable, flat screen TV, wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen, a new Weber gas grill, pool table, washer/dryer, a game closet and an accessible locker for guests with snow and water play items.

This home is the perfect location for all-year relaxation, fun, recreation and Lake Tahoe memories. It is within walking distance of the lake, miniature golf and places to eat and drink, including Gar Woods Grill & Pier. There are also two boat launches and recreation areas within five miles if you want to get out on the water in your kayak, paddle board, or boat. Northstar Ski Resort is only 11 miles away, and 16 ski resorts are within 30 miles of the home. The home is also locally managed to provide an excellent guest experience.

You must be 25 years or older to rent this property, and there are no pets or smoking allowed. Occupancy Limit -- 10 Adults.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. The fireplace created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere that we truly enjoyed. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the kitchen was clean and fully functional, making our stay very comfortable.The manager, Steve, was extremely responsible and kind. He answered the phone on the first call and was very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend this cabin to others.

Beautiful home!

The house was exactly how it was listed. It was very well kept, beautiful and clean. It was also in a nice neighborhood and great location near everything we were looking to do well we were there. Thank you for allowing my family and I to stay there. This is our 2nd time in Tahoe and will definitely be back again soon!

We had a great time. The house is on a quiet cul de sac where we could all play and enjoy the nature. Lots of stuff to do within 10-15 minutes and the house was very clean, lots of bedrooms and fun for all!

Wonderful cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Dave and Carolyn were very friendly hosts -- for example, they went out of their way to warn us of an upcoming storm. Very cozy and clean cabin in a nice neighborhood. Would happily stay here again!

Great location on a quiet court

We had a nice time skiing and relaxing at the cabin. The lighting is a bit dim in the living area but it was cozy and kitchen had all the supplies that we needed.

Great Stay

We had a great stay! We recently stayed here on a family ski trip to nearby Northstar. The house was very clean and livable, and access and communication with the owners were easy- the fireplace was a great bonus! We'd love to stay here again in the future!

Great place for family and friends!

This house was perfect for us and was cozy but spacious for our group of family and friends. Pool table and downstairs fireplace area were the highlights! We would love to stay there again.

The cabin was absolutely because, cozy, comfy and perfect for a Tahoe gateway. The owner was incredibly kind and really tried to help us when issues came up, which is why Iā€™m giving this high rating.The heater didnā€™t work properly in the living room. The property manager brought us wood and even sent someone to fix it, but unfortunately, the living room never worked. The TV only worked on the first day. The Wifi didnā€™t work at all. The network name did not match what was provided and the password kept saying it was incorrect. It was hard to contact the owner since there was no internet connection inside the cabin. I was able to message him outside the cabin and he kindly tried to help by giving us a new network , but that didnā€™t work neither. Despise these issues the owners effort and kindness really stood out. He did the best to make things right and that means a lot. If the heater, TV me Wi-Fi were fixed, this place would be perfect.

Cozy and Relaxing Getaway!

The cabin was warm, inviting, and beautifully nestled in the scenic surroundings of the area. It had all the comforts of home, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special.The interior was clean and well-maintained, with a charming rustic feel that added to the cozy experience.Overall, it was an excellent stay, and Iā€™d highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Lake Tahoe. Iā€™m already looking forward to coming back!
