Stylish Cabin with Hot Tub, Near Beach

The Oliver dog friendly Lake Tahoe vacation rental home has a large living and dining area that are open to the kitchen for easy conversations. The rental home has been extensively remodeled including the hardwood flooring, bathrooms, beds, and kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Downstairs features two bedrooms and a bathroom and upstairs there is a large master suite with couch and flat screen TV. The upstairs also has a loft for extra living and sleeping space. Off the lower level is a large redwood back deck, patio furniture, and hot tub.

In the summer, the home is within walking distance of a dog friendly beach (Patton Beach), Magic Carpet miniature golf course, Sierra Boat, 7-11, CB's Pizza, Old Post Office coffee shop, Waterman's Landing, Gar Woods Bar & Restaurant, and Carnelian Bay.

All Agate Bay Realty vacation rental properties are fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), pots/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, TV/TV's with streaming services, washer & dryer and barbecue (many are only usable in the summer). The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

The cabin was a perfect home base for out annual sister's GTG. Spacious, the beds were super comfy, we all appreciated the decor and the vibes. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Wonderful Lake Tahoe Cabin

Our cabin in Carnelian Bay was the perfect place to gather with friends and explore the North Shore. It was our first trip to Lake Tahoe and we couldn’t have picked a better location. The cabin was charming, full of nice features and amenities and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, hanging out in the big family room and taking walks in the area. We would definitely choose it again.

Family Holiday

We all found this home to be spacious and perfect for our 6 adult guests. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels, soap and shampoo provided. Management was very responsive to a couple of issues which arose.We would definitely rent again!

Carnelian Bay Gem

The Oliver cabin was perfect for our family. Beautiful master suite, bunk room for the grandkids, +3rd bedroom with king bed. Great open floor plan to gather for dining and playing games. Within walking distance to Patton Beach (Dog friendly), miniature golf, Garwoods for lunch and dinner. Agate Bay Realty has always been great to work with. Can’t wait to come back next year. Lovely place

Two downsides; the back door didn’t properly lock and not all of the windows opened. But none of these really affected our overall experience. We liked the house and location. Very clean, kitchen well stocked, hot tub was fine (no weird smell like the other review), lots of towels, blankets, toilet paper and paper towels. The main living area does get warm on hot days but by night it cooled down fine.

So so tired!

Great house but really tired interior. Missing drawers in fridge and kitchen. Rugs need a good cleaning and couch is so worn and cheap it’s about to fall apart. King bed is so lumpy we didn’t sleep and not to mention the sandpaper sheets!! We love the rental company and location. The house was clearly updated some time ago. The bathrooms have water damage to all the baseboards and there is evidence of rodents. We could hear them but never saw evidence of them. Our little dog found a set mousetrap in the living room. Very thankful it didn’t snap on her nose! The oven works but it will take time to figure out how to use it. And the temp is in Celsius. And let’s talk about the door locks. The front deck door handle is missing the outside handle. You can’t go outside and shut the door without having to then walk around to get back into the house. The rear slider to the back deck is broken and there is a wooden dowel for securing the door. We’ve read other reviews that mention the door locks from over a year ago. Why not fix them. We wanted to love everything but just couldn’t. IMHO save your money and go somewhere else. There are so many different options for rentals in the area.

Many Issues With Rental

We had many issues with this rental: 1. Dishwasher leaking water all over the ground 2. Broken AC 3. Hot Tub and Outside Tables not wiped down on the outside full of dirt, couldn't use outside tables 4. Patio Door handle broken making it difficult to close and lock the door that was on the street level. 5. Hot tub had a bad odor when turned on 6. LIght over Stove/Cooktop made it very difficult and unsafe to cook at night 7. Several other lights not working, making the entire house dark. 5. Broken Vacuum (couldn't vacuum up the house because it did not work) 6. Cold Showers, water just would not heat up

This cabin is almost great. The photos make it look amazing. The sofa is very worn out and needs to be replaced. The rug in the living room is stained and filled with pet hair and needs to be replaced. The drawers in the fridge are broken, cabinet doors are missing in the kitchen, the fireplace was out of service, there was mice. The location is awesome, the beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. The management was responsive when we reached out. Said they'd give us a credit for the fireplace/mouse issue but it only ended up being 75 off and we were there for four nights. So that was pretty underwhelming. Really this place just needs some basic maintenance and it would be really stellar.

Loved it!!!

We had such a great time here! The house is great -just as advertised. We played board games on the deck and in the great room and watched movies at night. It is so close to everything! We went to multiple beaches, played awesome mini golf, and hopped over to old town Truckee for a day. What a perfect location, so close to groceries and lots of restaurants/eateries. It's a really great house with great amenities. We could not have had a better time! Thank you!!!!
