The Space:

Tarawera Twins is a clever setup for big groups - two townhouses side by side that you book together, so everyone has room to spread out while staying close. Between them they have seven bedrooms and four bathrooms and sleep up to 16. Each townhouse is a complete home in its own right, with its own kitchen, living area and private spa pool, and a connecting gate between the two backyards means you can open the courtyards into one or keep them private. Best of all, the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest is a short walk from the door.

Each home has its own private spa pool in a courtyard, and a connecting gate between the two backyards lets you join them into one shared space or keep them separate.

Off-street parking for four vehicles, with plenty of on-street parking nearby.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of both homes - all the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, lounges, outdoor areas and both spa pools. Open the connecting gate between the courtyards to make one big shared space, or keep them private. There's off-street parking for four vehicles and on-street parking nearby.



The Neighborhood:

Tarawera Twins is in Lynmore, one of Rotorua's most sought-after eastern suburbs, and the big drawcard is being able to walk to the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest - perfect for family walks or world-class mountain biking. Cafes, shops and the Good Eastern Tap House are close by, while Te Puia, the city's lakes, the Polynesian Spa and the rest of Rotorua's attractions are only a short drive away.



Getting Around:

You can walk straight to the Redwoods and the Good Eastern from the door. A car is handy for exploring further, with off-street parking for four. By car, Te Puia is about 5 minutes away, the Waiariki and Polynesian spas and Rotorua Airport around 7, and Skyline, ZORB and Canopy Tours roughly 15. The city centre and lakefront are a short drive.



Other Things to Note:

A few things worth knowing: the two spa pool courtyards can be joined by opening the connecting gate, or kept private if you prefer. Each townhouse is fully self-contained with its own kitchen, living area and spa pool, and linen and essentials are supplied.
