Quiet Keystone Studio with Mountain Views, Near Shuttle Stop & Hiking Trails!

This studio lockoff, 1-bathroom condo sleeps 4 with an adult-sized twin-over queen bunk bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. Hiking and biking trail along the Snake River is a few steps out the back door. The location is desirable with all of Keystone’s attractions close by, yet just far enough away to ensure peace and quiet whenever you’re ready to relax. Wild Irishman offers shared amenities including a pool and hot tub.

This unique condo is perfect for barebones travel. It offers a place to stay to enjoy the beauty and majesty of Summit County. The living area features a flat screen TV, an adult sized twin-over-queen bunk bed, and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, and microwave. A twin-over-twin bunk bed is in a small room just off the main living area.

The bathroom is just off the main living area and is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. This studio condo is perfect to help you enjoy all Keystone has to offer.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

**Ivory White Bedding** This property has been upgraded with ivory white bedding modeled after high-end hotels and resorts. Enjoy the luxury of a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. Featuring an uncompromising and industry leading standard of cleanliness, the duvet covers are laundered after each and every guest stay. The entire bed is remade with fresh, white linens for each guest arrival.

Wild Irishmen was an excellent stay. I don’t understand the previous bad reviews. Is it small? Yes. It’s a studio. We don’t visit Colorado to stay in our condo. And if you read the description and directions provided then everything works out as expected. We stayed there with two adults and a 17 year old, it was perfect for us. The beds were comfy, the unit is located super close to the hot tub and a short 5 min drive to river run. Hosts are great and checked in several times. We will definitely book here again given the chance.

One suggestion: on the checkout reminder, it might be helpful to add a note reminding guests to grab the key when taking the trash to the dumpster. The key is labeled “swimming pool,” which can be a bit confusing.

The management company was not willing to refund based on extenuating circumstances. The unit is very poorly insulated, and the thermostat is either locked or remotely controlled. We turned the temp to 72 to try to warm everything, then in the middle of the night woke up to find it at 62 degrees. It was clear that they split a full condo unit for profit and this was what was a master bedroom. The "kitchenette" built into what was the laundry room and not well - exposed electrical, door frame still present, poorly caulked, could hear the family in the main unit as if they were in our kitchen. There is 220 electrical for the dryer above kitchen sink, I hope this electrical is inactive. The bathroom floor was as cold as walking outside barefoot. The stairs right next to the "bedrooms" was so loud, you could hear people going up and down all night. Everything was crammed, this is not a good unit for more than one person, definitely not for a family of 5! Found trash under the bed, and crumbs around the table, so the cleanliness was suspect. "Hot" water takes forever to get to the sinks and once there is barely warm. The second set of bunk beds was crammed into the walk in closet and was freezing cold in there. No ladder up to the top bunk and only the bottom beds were made so we had to climb up and make beds. The closet door is off track. Do not recommend this unit to anyone. I will never book here again. Miserable stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchenette is not intended for meal prep, but provided the basics: refrigerator and microwave. Shower has great water pressure!!! Beds were comfortable and linens sparkling white! Door lock was questionable- hard to tell if it was locked.

Was more than a little surprised to see the “kitchen “ wad the laundry room that had been quasi converted. The refrigerator floor area was so out of level that the refrigerator door would only open 1/3 the way before hitting the floor. The upper cabinet would only open about half way before hitting the wall, and, there is no way to bake anything. No oven, no pizza oven. Just a hot plate. Reminds me of the houses my boys lived in at college to save a buck.

Don’t stay here!! It’s a scam!! I came in, and left immediately!!! It’s not a condo, it’s not a studio! It’s a closet with 2 bunk beds and a microwave. It was dirty, small, it smell like a college dorm! And the worst owner. As soon as I came in, i called the owner, and i only got a voicemail.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the stay was fine, nothing to rave about. Myself and my friends only concerns were that the pictures for this unit online were deceiving and made it look bigger than it really was. This unit has two bunk beds which one room is a small bedroom and the other, “no exaggeration” is a closet with bunk beds. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re only there to sleep. I’d spend the extra money and get a unit with a real kitchen and living room, etc.

This property is nothing to brag about. The stay was nothing more than average and I don’t have any complaints about anything inside the unit. I will say though the pictures of the property are deceiving! This unit is literally a small bed room, a small bathroom, a “kitchen” with no oven, just a hot plate, and a closet with bunk beds. When booking this unit make sure you only want it to sleep as it’s super small and doesn’t have anywhere to socialize as a group. The pictures made the unit look bigger than it really was. Also I think the owner or manager should not include the common areas spaces that are not part of the room. It makes it seem like there’s a lot more, when in reality your staying in a shoe box with beds.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Building was quite run-down. Luggage scuff marks everywhere. Hallway carpets all stained and gross. I know we weren’t paying for the Ritz carlton but this was pretty bush league. A digit on the keypad for room entry actually fell off. I notified prop managers and nothing was done about it. People I dealt with were all quite nice and friendly but overall the building was gross and the room was tiny. Cable tv did not work because there was snow all over the satellite dish. The outdoor grill areas hadn’t been shoveled in weeks. Good luck if you wished to grill something.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don’t stay here. It’s a scam!!!! Besides being distrust, noisy and smelly, it really is a hallway with a bunk bed!!! I came in late at night, and I tried to call the owner to complaint and all I hat was a voicemail that said to call in the Morning. I left immediately, looked for another place, and the owner doesn’t want to give the money back! It doesn’t have a kitchenette, it has a small microwave and and a minibar, inside a closet. The whole place smells like a college dorm.

Hi Robert, I am so sorry you were not satisfied with your stay. Yes, this is a small unit. However this is clearly shown in the listing. I am not sure where the disconnect was. This is a small unit designed for people who just want a place to rest their head at night and to take advantage of the beautiful scenery all around us. What could we have done better? RM

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great, right next to a keystone bus stop.It was everything we needed for a place to crash on a ski trip. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room.A near-perfect setup, however:When we arrived, we were texted a code to enter the unit via a keypad lock. The keypad was missing one of the digits’ buttons (the 0) for our code. We were able to enter the unit via sticking a key in the hole, but reported this issue to the management company immediately (Wednesday afternoon). We were told the part was on order and were advised to use a pen or key in the hole to enter. Saturday morning, we discovered that we could no longer enter with a pen/key as it would not work. I alerted the management company at 8:30 AM. We left for skiing and returned at 2:30 PM, still locked out. It took over an hour for someone from maintenance to arrive and then about 2 hours to actually gain access to the unit. We were advised to leave the door unlocked for the remainder of our stay. It was also discovered during this process that the homeowner was fully aware of the broken state of the keypad. The absolute lack of urgency, communication, and resolution was completely unacceptable.

Place is tiny! Beds were comfy but the air quality was awful. 3 of the 4 of us got sick and felt better as soon as we left the unit. It’s dated but if you just need a basic place to sleep it works.

Great place!

This unit was clean and was spacious than expected. Great place if you just looking for a place to sleep, and the beds are excellent. Right next to Keystone and a 11-minute drive to A-basin. Highly Recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was reasonably comfortable for an overnighter with friends, but describing it as a condo is a bit generous. "Private room" would be a more apt description. Location is convenient, but does require driving or taking the bus to get to the slopes, restaurants, etc.

Place to sleep

This was a good place to stay if you are just planning on sleeping. There was not much space at all. We had four girls stay and when we asked for more towels (they only provided two) we were told that they are not a hotel and that we couldn’t just get towels because we wanted it. We were able to get two more towels. It wasn’t a bad place to stay, it was just a place to sleep
