Heaven on Earth

We often struggle trying to imagine what heaven will be like. If it is anything like the Heritage House we will be thrilled! Rob and Julia do a wonderful job of making their guests feel welcomed. It is obvious that much care and thought went into decorating and furnishing the house. We were thirteen in all and there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep, eat and talk together. If you want to create heavenly memories, this is the place to go!

Best place to stay while Lakeport!!

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home in walking distance to the lake, the downtown city park and all the local stores. It was clean and cozy and had many amenities including a great outside area for children to play on grass. We had a great time playing badminton and just enjoying the beautifully landscaped yard.

Big Family Vacation

The Heritage House in Lakeport, CA was the perfect place for our Family Reunion. We slept 13 people comfortably with plenty of seating, dining, space to move around, and games to play. This house has all the amenities you need and it is adorably decorated. I was able to learn about the history of the house and town of Lakeport. We were able to walk to the lake and spend several hours kayaking, paddle boarding and floating in the water. We also walked the main street of the town and found cute stores, parks, and some ice cream too! Our family of 13 had a great time in this Heritage House in the little town of Lakeport, CA.

Best place to stay in Lakeport!

I can't say enough about our stay here. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and the kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with every tool you could want. The coffee bar was fun and we appreciated the snacks. Outside is super inviting and you can't wait to sit and have coffee or BBQ. If you're in Lakeport with a group, this is the place you want to stay.

Fun Getaway

This house was incredible! We came with 2 other couples for a weekend and were not disappointed. We had six bedrooms to choose from and we had a fun time picking out which bedroom we wanted to stay in. Each bedroom had a unique theme/decor style. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need or want, including a coffee station. This house had 2(!) claw foot tubs!The outdoor landscaping was beautifully designed and maintained and there was plenty of outdoor seating (including a BBQ). A perfect location steps from the lake and places to eat. This house is perfect for large groups or families.We hope to visit again soon.

Rich comfort and relaxation in history

This home is a fabulous rental. It is clean, comfortable and allows for comfort of large (10-16) family groups to be together to unwind, relax and refresh. The home is outfitted with everything you need for a weekend or week getaway. Would be a great house for a multi generational family weekend, girls weekend, bridal weekend. The moment you walk in the door you can see the rich history and love that is the Heritage House. The bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Love that the owners labeled hung enough racks for each guest to know where to hang their used bath towel! There is an adorable play/game room for children and adults alike. The kitchen has plenty of nice dishes, pots and pans for cooking nice family meals, bakeware, utensils and even a crockpot and insta pot! The environment is welcoming, warm and comfortable and a definite place we will come back to.

Amazing Home for Large Groups

We stayed and the Heritage House of Lakeport the last weekend in April. It was a group of 9 people. 3 couples and 3 adult singles. As a result each family unit had their own bedroom. It was a perfect stage for a weekend get-a-way. The owners have done an amazing job with little details. The coffee/beverage bar is awesome! There is a bean grinder, French press, coffee pot, and a Keurig (with some K-cups provided). They also have a tea kettle with a variety of teas provided. The kitchen is well stocked and the cupboard has labels on them (but very tastefully done), so you can find things fairly easily. The place is decorated where vintage meets modern as they celebrate the heritage of the home and its heirlooms, but with a touch of modern conveniences. There are 2 large bathrooms with showers in the house (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) with lots of towel racks and hooks!!! They even label the towel racks by each room name, so that guests don’t get their towels confused. The body wash and shampoo in the showers have a great scent! Not too feminine and not too masculine. There is also a powder bathroom off of the kitchen.You can tell the owners care about the details. There are lawn games outside. A place to pull extra propane from and return used propane tanks, and they even give suggestions about how to enjoy yummy milkshakes on your way to library park. There are lots of little nooks to read, play games, do a puzzle, or just have conversation on the porch. They have done a nice job at making things feel homey. Our group is already talking about making this place an annual visit!
