Lovely stay

Spacious accommodation and every thing as promised. But driving a car to/from the property is not for the faint-hearted.

Peaceful relaxing time

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Villa up on the hill overlooking the lake. Great views and a great garden. We had lots of room for the 5 adults and 5 children and one baby. We would stay there again.

Comfortable and immaculate villa with 3 levels of generous living space. Hostess is lovely and very communicative. Dreamy view and lush property. Very rustic road up to the property, and a challenging entrance/exit from main road. A true Italian hillside villa.

Thank you so much for your kind review. I'm very happy you enjoyed our villa, its views and its large spaces. As to the road to the property, it belongs to the town of Garda, which did not maintain it in the last years. We are urging an intervention, and we trust they will intervene shortly, in the winter season. There is a mirror for exiting into the main road. However, it was lately slightly rotated, so that the vision wasn't very clear. It has been fixed now. Thank you again for your review!

Family vacation lake garda

My family and a friend totally 9 people stayed at this property for a week. That’s a lot of people to please but with 6 bedrooms and 6 and a half baths there was plenty of space for all. Great views of the lake from multiple decks. All family members took a turn making dinner that we enjoyed eating on the large deck. If we are in the area again I would not hesitate in booking this fantastic property if available.

Pontos positivos: Limpeza, check-in, comunicação e localização
La Limonaia is a spacious home in a beautiful setting with wonderful views of Lake Garda. We had a group of 7 family members and were quite comfortable. The drive to and from the property is very challenging. The only visibility at the entrance from the road is provided by a mirror, making exit dangerous. There are a few other things to be aware of: The house has 4 levels and would be difficult to manage for someone with limited mobility. There are 30 steps from the parking area to the entry door. The tap water is not potable and the owner provided us with bottled water. You are expected to take your own separated trash and recyclables to the town of Garda to dispose of them.Air conditioning is only available in the living room. It was quite warm (90’s)during part of our stay which made sleeping uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay in spite of the items mentioned. Future clients just need to be aware.

Thank you very much for your 5-star-review. I’m happy you enjoyed your stay, the setting of our place and its spaciousness, As to the points you mention, Indeed, the house is expressly not for guests with reduced mobility, as well shown in the pictures and in the house description. There is a stair from the parking to the entrance door, however, you can reach the main entrance by car too. Tap water is not drinkable, however, it is perfectly suitable for kooking purposes as well as for tea and coffee and for brushing your teeth. As to the trash disposal, public trash collection service is not available, as our house is in a remote position in the green. Our guests enjoy this silent, relaxing setting and usually have no problems in disposing of their own trash. In case not, we offer this service for a small fee. I regret reading you had some uncomfortable nights inspite of the large ceiling ventilators in the bedrooms. Indeed, Europe experienced an unusual, extreme heat wave in the second half of this month of June. I’m very happy you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your visit.

Easter week 2022

We had a wonderful week in the property and were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Garda, plus Verona and Venice thrown in. The property is well spaced and with nine people we certainly felt comfortable and were not sitting on top of one another. Each bedroom was spacious and had its own ensuite which was great. The drive to the property takes some getting used to and the road leading up is easily missed when on the main road. Once you are up to the property you are rewarded with stunning views over the lake and a great sense of calm and peace. One final word for Lia at the property who has been fabulous all the way through the Covid experience, from the early enquires back in 2020 to us finally getting to the property in 2022! I would very happily return to Lake Garda and to this property also, I miss it already!

Thank you so much for taking your time to review your stay at our property! I'm very happy you felt comfortable there and that you enjoyed the large spaces of the house as well as its position. As you mention, the access to our road may not be immediately evident. I’m preparing detailed instructions for the future. Thank you. It was a great pleasure for me to eventually meet your lovely group, after the difficult COVID years. I will be more than happy to welcome you back if you come to Lake Garda again!

Amazing view and lots of space

The house is spacious and every bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The citrus garden and multiple terraces and lovely garden invite meals outside. Make sure to bring something to protect from mosquito bites. There are 3 beaches in easy walking distance. A few hundred meters follow the busy road though to access 2 of the beaches. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks German fluently.
