O Lago é Nossa Piscina ♡ Villa à beira do lago & Parque / Acomoda 12 +1 bebê / Pet Friendly

Thank you Alessandro, it was a pleasure to host your Christmas family reunion :) Happy 2026, take care and see you in the summertime next time! :)

Thank you Stefan for your review 😊 It was a pleasure to have you, you left the house in a perfect state and made for the perfect guests! Ciao, Irene

Dearest David, thank you very much for leaving a review. It was a true pleasure to meet you, you involved me so much in your family vacation with pictures and plannings it felt like being on holiday with you. Take care, un abbraccio! Irene

Thank you Allison for the five stars! If you'll come again, I'll have more and more baby amenities for travelers like your little baby Lola. In fact, last week I bought a stroller, and I'm thinking of attaching a swing to the magnolia tree:) Bye, see you! Irene

Dearest Shane, I'm happy you liked Salò, I love it myself so much :) Unfortunately the road noise is inevitable as the house is nested on the lake shore. Your feedback is very much appreciated tho, as this winter, when we take care of restorations, we'll also work on noise insulation. Our Villa Angela gets improvements every year, and AC is surely on the list, as soon as we can afford it! Right now our prices are competitive but we hope we'll be able to enter the luxury market in the near future. Thanks again for your stay, it was a pleasure having you, ciao :) Irene

Dearest Clare! Thank you very much for your review. You were an excellent guest too :) Again, I loved having you around, it is always lovely when I have the opportunity to chat with your parents. I might be kinda shy in approaching my guests, but when they do I am so happy to share impressions about the place and try to help with suggestions. Hugs to everyone and if you will ever be back in the area please knock on my door and ask me for a coffee! :)

My dear Catherine, it is always a pleasure to do my best to have happy guests. And an honor, when they choose to come here from the other end of the world! I really enjoyed having you here, you definitely make my list of 2023 best guests :)

Dear Pauline! Thank you very much for finding the time to write me a review. I see you haven't forgotten your summer stay at Villa Angela! Neither I have forgotten you and your beautiful family from all over France. It would be great if you could be back again. Villa Angela is the perfect setting for an intimate, relaxing family reunion... and yes for fishing and swimming too;) Next time you are here, your son Joan should try out the fishing reserve of the river Maderno. It's gonna call for another trout barbecue in front of the lake! See you next summer! Baci, Irene

Thank you Sara 😍 I am always so happy to have happy guests, and you and your family and friends are absolutely lovely. It was a pleasure to have you, you'll always be welcome back!

Dearest Jim 😘 It was great to have you really nice blokes, I would say with a british accent! How lovely of you to present yourselves with a bag full of English preserves!! I really appreciated it, I love to try new things and the surprise was really thoughtful. Thanks again for your stay and for your review. I sure hope to have you back!

Dear Aileen, don't mention it. I'm happy I had the chance make you happy, finding your ring! Thank you for your stay, and for the nice review. I'd love to see you again. P.S. Joy let me know of your admittance test in September! Fingers crossed!! P.P.S. You are still logged in my HomeAway account in your computer! It says I wrote the review ;)

Dear Tom, thank you for your review. I am really sorry you experienced some discomforts during your stay. The tub in the 3rd bathroom couldn't be used as the pipe underneath had broken, and there is no way to fix it but having the entire piping redone. We already have arranged everything to have the bathroom entirely renovated at the end of the season, as we can't do it now with guests in the house. All what was not functioning though was the tub, and there are other two fully functioning bathrooms in the house. As per the yard work, a huge garden like ours requires constant attention (and is home to a little ants). I am sorry if my presence working in the background has upset you. In the description I wrote exactly that you should expect seeing me working in the garden. I was there only for a couple of days though, after which I had to leave you alone in the property for the rest of your stay. I was 80km away for work, and unfortunately couldn't come fix the door on your closet, neither the router. I am glad you decided to give us three stars anyways, and if you came back I'd be happy to offer you a special price to make up for the problems you encountered (which will be fixed for next season!). Ciao, Irene UPDATE: By December 2022 the malfunctioning bathroom has been completely redone and we have three fully functional new bathrooms.

Dearest Michele, thank you for your lovely and detailed review. You and your family were exquisite guests and, as I said, if you ever pass by again it would be a real pleasure to have you over for tea (I would say for coffee, but you are British). Thanks again for your stay and take care! Ciao, Irene :)

Dearest Elke, it was a pleasure for me to have you too, even though it was the hottest week of the year so far! AC is definitely one of the investments we consider making in the near future, to upscale our property to the top tier! In the meantime, we make up for it with competitive prices. Hopefully you'll be back here when we make this upgrade :)

Thank you Tanja ❤️ For your beautiful words, but also thank you again for having left the house so clean. I would love to have you back! Viele Küsse to your schönste dog :)

Dearest Vineta, it was a pleasure to have you! Also I loved to have here three dogs to sich gefülen in the garden. Dogs appreciate it a lot too 😉 Unfortunately a pipe broke underneath the tub in one bathroom. In this very moment the bathroom is being demolished to be then completely redone. I apologise for the inconvenience and to make up for it I'll get you a special deal for next time, you have my phone number so just contact me directly. Thanks again, ciao! Irene UPDATE: By December 2022 the malfunctioning bathroom has been completely redone and we have three fully functional new bathrooms.

Dearest Benedikt, it was indeed a pleasure to have you - you are really nice folks! If you want to tag me on Instagram my name is villaangela.salo. Do come back, I am looking forward to see Ovid and Salome growing up! Ciao, take care! Irene

Dear Sebastian! Thank you very much for your review. I love it when my guests love it here :) And I'd love to have you back here! Ciao, take care! Irene

Dearest Silke, thank you for your review. Everyday I work to make Villa Angela better and better, and therefore I appreciate you having pointed out the problems you encountered. This is not a modern house, but a historical mansion furnished with antiques that needs continuous restoration. The chairs that weren't on your balcony were being restored (by the same woman you saw on the premises). The doors will be fixed too, in time. Little by little. Viel Luft nach oben. As you can read in the host description, it says I live on site, in a separate portion of the property, as I am the gardener and the caretaker. This is also stated on the lease agreement you accepted via VRBO. Other than seeing me working in the garden, my guests don't share the place with anybody else, as the property is rented entirely. A villa like this needs work to be done every day, and it is necessary for somebody to be working in the background. It's a bit like going to the restaurant: you shouldn't notice the waiter, but you know they are there to work for you. I need to point out I never enter the part of the house which is rented to my guests and I absolutely value their privacy. I am glad anyways that you liked the place enough to give us 4 stars, and I strive to earn the 5th next time you'll be back! Sincerely, Irene

Thank you Thom for your review, it would be a pleasure to have you back!

Dear Beate! Thank you very much for your kind review! It sure was a pleasure for me to have you all here. Thank you also for your suggestion: I always take in much consideration my guests'reviews! Will buy more pots for next season, for you to use when you come back :)

Thank you Armin ^^ It was a pleasure having you, and all your tribe ;) See you again :)
