Beautiful Bungalow

Inside is newly remodeled and very clean. Directly across the street from the beach, we had a great time.

Great home for a family with a view

We loved this home at the beach. It was very cozy and had a kayak plus a paddle board. There is a beach cart which is a plus when packing everything up to head to the beach. There is an ocean view from the front porch.

Location, Location, Location

The location of this home is amazing. I don't think I have been able to breathe so well until this trip. The breeze from the ocean and the fresh air was everything I needed for my getaway. I loved it so much that I am looking forward to staying again in the future and possibly investing in my own vacation property. Our fur babies thoroughly enjoyed the giant, sandy, fenced in yard and had so much fun playing outside. Thank you so much!

Excellent

Don't let the outside influence you. The inside of the house is beautiful. We were 4 adults & 2 kids and had plenty of space. The house has everything for you to prepare a meal. The grill outside is connected to the gas of the house, we learn that days later after using our charcoal grill. Also if you have kids, FYI there is only 1 TV at leaving room that has a hard time connecting to the internet. We had to let our kids use their tablets to see cartoons at night. Over all the house was great

LOVE this home & it's location!

We just loved this home & it's location! The home was very clean & comfy with plenty of closet space for all clothes and even an extra fridge in the garage! The gas grill, paddle board, kayak, bikes, & chairs were all an EXTRA NICE feature! When I booked I had thought only by photos that the backyard was fully fenced but was only partially (the property description didn't specify either, so that was my bad but no deal breaker for sure). Had difficulty reaching a property manager by phone, but they did respond quickly by text. The location was perfect as well with beach within view from porch (feet in sand within approx 2 minutes); a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance (one restaurant at each end of block) ; and with more restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, & St. Andrews Park within easy biking or driving distance. This home is definitely gonna be a regular booking for the Pyrons!

Details are Important!

The house inside and outside appears to be in the midst of a remodeling project while being rented as a vacation rental. The exterior of the home has some structural issues that were not shown in the photos (i.e. exposed tar paper where brick was removed near the electrical panel) and some of the exterior is severely dilapidated since the photos were taken (i.e. garage door is rusted with holes and sharp edges). The garage as shown in the photos implies that there is a functioning fridge. In reality the fridge is defunct with open rusted doors, super dangerous for kids. There are exposed electrical wires and electrical boxes, also dangerous. The garage leaked due to the rusted holes in the garage door. The television was a huge issue. We selected this house over other options because of the open kitchen/living room. When we arrived the TV was not working, the internet was not connected. Guest services was slow to respond and lacking. The amenities for the beach: The photos for the beach fun stuff did not match the weathered items in the shed. Some things like a cart for toting things to the beach was not there. This is a key element for packing, we didn't pack items that we expected to be there, listed or shown in photos. Bottom sheets did not fit the beds appropriately, exposing the mattress covers while sleeping.

The house is like the pictures! The location is great you are a few steps to the beach and few minutes drives to restaurants and fun attractions! I do recommend you book this place!

Great place!

Cleaned house. Love the decorations. Everything is pretty much new. If the shower head water outside is a little stronger. It would be perfect instead of dragging the sand inside.

Almost Perfect

You might as well say this on the beach since it's a 1 minute walk to the access point. Super convenient if you must walk back to the house, which I did a few times, for bathroom breaks or more drinks. The beach was not overcrowded and mostly families. The location was very quiet at night and convenient to everything. Walking distance to the Chevron gas station around the corner and other stores. The house has 2 outdoor showers, a gas and charcoal grill, and a few beach items for use such chairs. nets, noodles, etc. The only negative is that the floors were sandy when we checked in and one of the bathrooms appeared to have not been cleaned thoroughly as toothpaste was on the sink handle. We swept the floors and cleaned the bathroom vanity so not a huge deal. Be prepared to sweep if you are OCD about stepping on sand with bare feet. Other than that it was a great getaway. Already planning to be back next year with my Dyson Vacuum.

A Sandy Shore

Love this cute beach house!! The kitchen has everything you could need but we also made good use of the grill outside on the patio. There are also many great restaurants nearby to enjoy. The kids loved the paddle board and bikes that were provided. My husband did some fishing from the kayak. Great amenities! This is a great property as the location is just steps away from the beach access to enjoy some fun in the water and take in the breathtaking sunsets. Will definitely be returning with my family in the future.

A Sandy Shore

This home is in a great location. Saint Andrew State park is within walking distance. We had a great time fishing from the kayak that came with the rental. We tried paddle boarding ( paddle board also provided with the rental) for the first time. Great fun!! Looking forward to returning to this beach house with my family again.

Latta Clan Vacation

We have stayed here once before and we will still come back. We just love the house and location so much. East side of PCB is the best. We are active Scuba divers and it's a prime location!! Thank you Sandy Shores!!

Great stay!

It was an excellent stay. Only one thing we would like to mention is that there were small roaches inside the dish washer, coffee maker. We had to clean and spray.

Perfect stay for us!

We absolutely loved the house and our stay. We were right near the beach access and it was a quiet area with everything we needed just a couple of minutes away.

Sandy Shore

Sandy Shore is amazing. It is conveniently located across the street from the beach! The house is updated and cute!! My son wants to rent it again next year. We give it a 5+ There are many good restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed Patches and Schooners...
