Enjoy the Leisurely Camp Life - Galway Lake Spacious Waterfront Home

Come take a breath of fresh air and relax on the water at this spacious home on Galway Lake. The perfect getaway for family and friends to enjoy the lake life. Plenty of space for lounging inside or taking in the breathtaking views just on the water's edge! This home features 3 bedrooms plus sleeping loft and, 2 full bathrooms, a jacuzzi bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, TV, high speed internet, business center, and much more!

Wake up and sip a morning beverage from your wrap around deck as you watch golden rays of sun rise over the glistening water. Head out on the kayaks and explore the lake, take a refreshing dip in the water, hike around the woods, catch a fish right off your dock, grill up some grub, then kick back and relax around the warm crackling campfire. If you can take your eyes off the halcyon paradise surrounding you, look up and maybe you'll spot a shooting star and wish you could stay longer! So pack your bag, sign off those Zoom meetings, and let them know you’ll be at the lake!

Guests will have private lake access. The rental also includes two single kayaks, a fishing kayak, life preservers, outdoor furniture, a natural gas grill and fire pit. Electric boat motor available (please reserve in advance for an add'l fee).

Note: The rental will be thoroughly sanitized between guests. Your health, comfort, and peace of mind is our utmost priority.

We had a wonderful time at this property, again!Our hosts Heidi and Barry were both helpful and thoughtful.Everything at the house is set up perfectly for a family to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake.We fished, had campfires, enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. We especially like the peacefulness of the whole experience. We plan on being back next year.

Superlative! Premises were very clean, complete, and well-organized. Beds were even made up when we arrived. Everything worked perfectly. The lake is ideal for a family - quiet with a rowboat (electric motor available) and three kayaks. Our family swam and used the boats every day. Owner lives right next door. Could not recommend Galway Lake and the home more highly.

Leisurely for sure!

The property was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The large, wrap around deck, yard space and water crafts made the stay enjoyable and entertaining. The lake was very quiet which made the stay very relaxing.

Summer vacation

This place is absolutely perfect! Set in a quiet area but only a short drive to everything we wanted! It is always spotless and the owners are extremely kind and helpful.This place entertained my whole family! This was are second time here and already booked for next summer

Wonderful house and vacation

Excellent hosts and property. Weather was not great, but the house was so wonderful we still had an amazing time. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were great. Everything was very clean.

Wonderful Galway Lake

The lake house was immaculate. Everything you could possibly need is in the house. The house is super comfortable. The back deck overlooking the lake was great to sit on a sip wine! Using the kayaks and the rowboat on the lake are super fun Thank you, Heidi and Barry! .

Wonderful property

This was a return trip for us to the Osprey house and it was excellent. Barry snd Heidi are excellent hosts. House was clean and spacious with a perfect location on the lake. Kayaks got a lot of use too. We will be back next year!

Great house, great fishing!

The house and property were beautiful. The house was so clean! The yard was nice and level and close to the water. Location is very convenient to everything. Heidi and Barry are wonderful hosts. Could not believe all the fish we caught! We will be back!

Lake stay

Home was well equipped, very clean. Items such as coffee, spices, beach towels, laundry detergent were provided. We did have an issue with loss of a/c, host attended to very quickly arranging repair. Lake was very quiet. (boats restricted to low powered electric motors)

Great Family Vacation

We find that this property is ideal for our family. We have young children who enjoy everything about the lake. We all caught fish, kayaked and swam everyday. Barry and Heidi are wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay even more enjoyable. We had everything we needed for our week. You will not find a cleaner or better appointed house. We will be back next near.

Relaxing Summer Getaway!

My family loved everything about this immaculate lake house. Other members of my family rented the owner’s adjoining property, and that made this wonderful experience even better. We were treated as valued guests from the introductory tour and throughout the week. The owners are great and provided us with everything we needed for our entire stay. We caught fish, had bonfires, and enjoyed the lake every day. This was our second year staying here and we hope to back next year!

Another wonderful year!

This was our second stay at The Osprey and what a wonderful stay it was! Heidi and Barry continue to be excellent hosts and their home continues to be a lakeside paradise. A newly renovated dock made it even more enjoyable. Kayaking, fishing, swimming, constant bbq’s and plenty of quiet time with the most beautiful view. Drinking a morning cup of coffee, lakeside, is the best way to start your day. We enjoyed every moment and look forward to returning.

Spectacular!

This property was outstanding!! Owners were wonderful. Everything in the house was first class! Everything was so clean!! Kitchen had whatever we needed. Beds, pillows and towels were so soft and comfortable!! Kayaks, paddle boards and row boat outside kept everyone busy and having fun on the water! Water was clean and so safe especially for our friend’s children!!! Fishing off the dock was a special treat!! We will definitely go back… hopefully in the fall!!

A great week

We had a great time at the Osprey house. Heidi and Barry made everything easy and simple. The house is very clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. All we needed to bring was food! Everything was provided...Sheets, shower towels, lake towels. There are 3 kayaks and a rowboat. We used them all. There are even swim fins and a snorkle mask. We enjoyed the firpit two nights and the BBQ grill as well. The lake was a comfortable swimming temperature. There is a welcome book that has all the information you need for the house and the surrounding area. There's a high school 10 minutes away with two tennis courts which we used 3 times. And not far from that a place to buy fresh pies. We got two.

A slice of heaven!

If you are looking for a little slice of heaven, you must stay at The Osprey! Barry and Heidi are amazing people. Friendly, accommodating, sincere and extremely thoughtful. They take pride in their home and give quite a bit of thought into all the little “extras” that they provide to make your stay even more special. Down to the adorable lake house coffee mugs they give you as a gift. Kitchen was well stocked with basic essentials. Both bathroom and beach towels were provided and the laundry room was also well stocked with detergents for our use. Bedrooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds themselves were very comfortable in all rooms. The house itself is spectacular but that’s not all The Osprey has to offer. The outdoor amenities and property are incredible. Kayaks, row boat, floats, fire pit, incredible BBQ for grilling, you name it….it was there for our use. The lake itself is dreamy. Quiet, clean and simply gorgeous. If you like to fish…. Bring your fishing poles and take the fishing kayak out for the day. Everything was just perfect. I have stayed in several places around the area and The Osprey is by far the most beautiful. Thank you Barry and Heidi for putting so much thought into your home. We can not wait to come back!

Quiet and Relaxing Stay

My family and I loved our stay here. The home was very clean and fit our family well (4 adults/2 children). We enjoyed much time out in the yard and on the lake kayaking and fishing. The area was quiet which made for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. All communication with Barry and Heidi was easy and smooth. Would definitely return if we ever come to the area again!
