Property was extremely clean and location excellent, especially if you are a fan of Sift, the best pastry shop in town. Living space huge and wish the same could be said for the bedroom that lacks space and bedside tables (not a huge deal). This is an historic home and has its wrinkles. We had an issue with the shower that was addressed quickly after discovery.

Everything about this property worked for us! Beautiful interior, well appointed amenities, communicative host, and ideal location! We took in the Mystic Art fair, walked to Sift and the shops and dined at Jeramiah’s ( all short walks from our property). We hope to repeat this weekend annually. So thankful to have found this updated yet historical location.

Beautiful location and views!

Very clean. Walked to all the shops and restaurants! Enjoyed our stay. I will say the bunk beds are very low to the ground for adults.

Perfect home base in Mystic

Kitchen and living room are spacious and stellar. Bedrooms cozy but functional. These bunk beds are best suited for small children. Bathroom is large and updated, but old-school tub-shower requires agility to hop into and ingenuity to operate. Most enjoyable are the views, the quiet but convenient location, and parking.

Nearly perfect

The pros: This property has a luxury feel. The renovation was well done. The finishes and furniture are high-end. It was CLEAN! The location was great, right on the edge of downtown. The cons: Turning on the shower was difficult even for my husband who is extremely handy. Stepping up into a wet clawfoot tub is not ideal for every guest. There was only a towel bar for 2 towels, so I'd say it needs a couple hooks added in the bathroom or bedrooms. Lastly, the apartment had been sprayed heavily with fabreeze air freshener, and I am chemically sensitive. I had a bad headache for the first day, and washed all of the bedding to try to get rid of the scent. Most people do not realizes that air fresheners are highly toxic. The owner was extremely rude when I asked about the source of the fragrance. At first he said there was no fragrance in the apartment. I informed him there was a plastic tower pumping out fragrance in the hallway, and a different fragrance in the apartment. He told me he is is not a doctor and that I should not have booked the apartment. (I owned a short term rental in Boston for 2 1/2 years and understand business, real estate investing, and hospitality. This is not good business and not good hospitality.)

Pontos positivos: Check-in e localização

Not okay for lilltle kids/toddlers

To start with: the apartment is very clean and everything looks brand new and very pretty. The location is perfect, you can walk to everything in town. However, I wouldn't recommend this place if you have very little children. There is no AC in either bedroom and we have 2 toddlers. So the first day they woke up covered in sweat (and so did we in our bedroom). Our solution was to go out for dinner and blast the AC with the kids bedroom door open so it could cool down. The rest of the apartment was cold when we got home but this worked for them. There's also the barn door for the main bedroom that can't be locked. So all the toddlers want to do is open and close these doors, and they could get hurt. Why wouldn't you simply put a lock on the door for the bedroom? This is just bad design. Also-why make the bedrooms so absolutely tiny and the living spaces too big? I live in NYC and even I think these are small bedrooms especially when there's enough room to make it slightly bigger. Lastly, the cleaning staff is using so much bleach on the linens it smells like bleach when you go to bed or use a towel. It doesn't take that much. Overall I would recommend this place for adults and families with older children any time except for hot days of summer. Honestly, I just can't get past the fact that I paid that much to not have AC while I sleep in the middle of August. We left a day early because of this by the way.

Pristine property right in the heart of Mystic

Everything about the listing is why you get. A beautifully designed apartment, pristine, cleanliness, and a perfect location making all of downtown Mystic walkable. My husband and our two boys (ages 5 and 3) stayed at this property and absolutely loved it. Everything about the booking was easy. I highly recommend this property for a small family looking for a getaway in beautiful Mystuc.

Very convenient, beautifully renovated

Beds were super comfortable - best I've slept in aside from my own. Super convenient to the downtown, very quiet neighborhood. Top floor apartment. Staircase to get in a bit steep (house circa 1840s) and the bathtub required some maneuvering for those of us in our mid 50s! Essentials (linens, utensils/dishes) provided for 4 people. Nice welcome gift and note. Good communication throughout the stay. Everything is new as seen in photos. Bedrooms were on the small side, but the rest of the place is as spacious as it looks. Get yourself a puzzle at the Olde Mystick Village (Franklin's General Store) - the kitchen island is ideal for puzzles!

Perfect spot

The place was picture perfect, and in fact even better than the pictures. It’s pristinely maintained and an ideal location, walkable to the main part of town a very short drive to other things. Love it!!
