Welcome to Valhalla Escape! Come enjoy our 4 bedroom, 3 bath home that comfortably sleeps 2 or 10! Find out for yourselves why we love living in the natural state! Let us help make your vacation or quick getaway easy and hassle free.

Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with a king size bed and full bath with french doors that open up to a deck overlooking the lake. A second bedroom with a queen size bed, a second full bathroom, and an open living room/dining room that also open onto the deck. You will find a well-stocked kitchen with all the amenities where you can enjoy cooking for friends and family.

Downstairs you will find a great place for entertaining that opens up to a large patio! There are two bedrooms downstairs with queen size beds, a trundle day bed that can make 2 twin beds, and a full bath.

Plenty to do inside like watching tv, playing pool, ping pong, board games, throwing darts, or sitting at the bar with friends. Or step out onto the large patio area where you can relax and kick back while watching the sun set. On a cool night you can build a fire in the fire pit and watch the stars.

Both floors have large TVs with DISH.

There is plenty of room inside and out for your family or small group. You can enjoy swimming behind the house in a secluded area with a small beach, kayaking, boating, skiing, fishing, grilling, or just taking in the view while drinking your morning coffee. There's even a place to beach your boat!

If you enjoy the up and coming past time of riding ATV's and UTV's, just 5 miles up the road are over 97 miles of designated and marked trails in the community of Fairfield Bay. Along with a golf course, hiking trails, and playgrounds for the children.

Whether you are looking for a weekend away or an extended stay, this home has it all! Great location and plenty of room!

Wonderful property

My family and I enjoyed this beautiful property for our Father’s Day weekend get together. The pool table and ping pong table were fun and the location is great for kayaking and anchoring your boat. Great communication with the host. Everything was absolutely perfect!

Great spot on Greers Ferry Lake

Home was very clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and two living areas accommodated our group very well. Pool table was a hit with adults and kids. Owners are very easy to communicate with.

Great!

Loved the house and area. Kitchen could use a few more items for cooking purposes. Renters were wonderful to deal with. We plan on making that a regular stay for us. Highly recommend!!

Awesome Getaway!!

My party and I stayed at this property for a weekend! The home and location are beautiful! The views of the lake are awesome! The home was very clean when we checked in and there was plenty of room to accommodate our party! The kitchen had everything we needed and more! Elizabeth was very easy to communicate with as well! We can’t wait to come back!

Very comfortable with great lake view!

This was the best place we have stayed for space and comfort. It has a kitchen that has everything needed for cooking and then some! Extra-large dining table and plenty of comfortable living room seating. Very clean and spacious! The view of the lake was the best!!! The owners are extremely nice and helpful!! Looking forward to going back!

Would recommend

We enjoyed a little family time for a long weekend. The home had lots of space to spread out, several things to keep the teens busy (water access, pool table, ping pong, darts, and TV). There was a beautiful view and a large outdoor space for gathering. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our time and would recommend.

Family Reunion on Greers Ferry

We were part of a group of 30 that stay in separate lodgings. Our stay in this property was GREAT! Our only disappointment was that the lake was 10-12 ft above normal & the private beach on the property was well below water! We did however enjoy the public swim area (actually the parking lot under water) at the Devil's Fork Camp Grounds!There were 7 of us & the property worked perfect with lots of space to spread out. The kids enjoyed the ping pong & pool tables on the lower level. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed & a huge frig which we filled!We would love to return & make more lake memories in the future!

Beautiful Lake front Stay

I came with my husband, teen son, adult daughter and oldest daughter with her family. We loved being right on the lake with our boat parked at the house. It was so convenient not to have to go launch it everyday. We fished, kyacked and had tons of family fun. The owner was always quick to answer any questions I had. We loved it, especially having room for two families and not be tripping over each other. Definitely a must stay for any family.

Beautiful Lake Retreat

Our family of 5, with 3 teens enjoyed our time at the Lake House. Upon arrival we were greeted with some local treats from a bakery, everyone enjoyed them. There was plenty of room and beds for all. The teenagers and adults loved the darts, pool table, ping pong table...the kayaks and fishing and boating directly from the house. The house was clean, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, kitchen had everything we needed for dinners. And the Elizabeth was available for any needs. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Quiet on the lake

We had a quiet family holiday. The hosts were fantastic. They more than exceeded expectations. They responded to all questions promptly. The home was decorated for the season and there were so many little extras that made our visit wonderfully special. We had plenty of space to gather when we wanted, and to spread out when we needed. The kitchen, dining and bathrooms were well stocked for easy enjoyment. I would absolutely recommend to friends and anyone looking for a lake front getaway.

Great house

The house and view were amazing. Property owner was very nice and responded to any questions we had very quickly. The only downside to the property is parking. The driveway is paved - which is great - but long, narrow and downhill. We had 3 vehicles and 2 boats so we had a hard time parking the boats. If I was rating this property on a scale of 1 to 10, it would get a 9.75 because of the parking.

Great Location

The rental was in a great location on the lake and close to town. There is a boat ramp close by plus a great spot on the lake just behind the house to leave your boat( I brought 2 rubber mats that I anchor at the shore line for my pontoons to slide on). There was plenty of room in the house and plenty of parking(there was one day we had 4 cars, truck & trailer). The only thing we wished for was a mini fridge down stairs and while where wishing mite as well put in a Sonic ice machine too. lol! Had a great stay!!!

Spring Break 2021

We walked into this house and instantly felt at home. This is a well cared for home with comfort and convenience in mind. We planned on cooking every meal and the kitchen had everything including a large stock pot and skillets large enough to cook for 5 people, which was fantastic. The dining table is large enough to keep a puzzle going and still had room for us to eat. The beds were comfortable and several blankets are all around the house which made everything cozy. Clean inside and out. Views and access to the lake were great. Elizabeth responds quickly and is very helpful. We would recommend this house and hope to stay again soon!

Until now I have never had to address a negative review. While I could make a lengthy list of the terrible condition our home was left in I won’t because you know exactly how you left it. I will say we work hard to have the things we do and enjoy being able to share it with families that appreciate it. It plainly states in our rules no parties, no smoking in house, beds are to be stripped, all dirty laundry is to be taken downstairs and left in laundry room, dishes are to be washed, and trash taken out. It also states that there is a $300 damage deposit for things such as the handrail that was broken, the door knob broken off the hall closet, several missing items, the horrible odor left from the cheep cigars and Newport cigarettes. Not to mention the garbage we had to clean out of the trash cans. I sincerely hope you take care of your own home better than you did ours and that VRBO never lets you rent another property.

Lovely house on Greers Ferry Lake

Our family of 7 adults ranging in age from 35 to 87 loved this house. Beautiful view overlooking the lake. Nice little beach, where we could also tie up our small ski boat. The house was clean, had everything we needed. Plenty of linens. Fully stocked kitchen. Great balcony and patio overlooking the lake with additional seating on the lawn. There was ample parking for a truck, car, and boat. The living area was spacious with lots of seating. The kitchen table is quite large. The seven of us ate several meals there, very comfortably. They even had kayaks available. The best thing about the house was definitely the back deck and patio. I spent a lot of time there, reading, journaling, and relaxing - listening to the birds and watching the beautiful still lake in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again. They even provided a pan of homemade cinnamon rolls - a very thoughtful treat! The house was very cozy

Perfect place for our family Thanksgiving. We will be back!

Property and home was just as it was described. My daughters and I were traveling down from Rochester, NY to spend Thanksgiving with my dad, sister, and her family. We needed a place we could all get together for Thanksgiving and this home was just an hour from their houses. It was perfect!! Everything we needed to serve a great meal was there and there was a grocery store (Family Market) just over 2 miles down the road. Everyone was so friendly. We look forward to coming back in the summer so we can enjoy the water and deck more!
