Approximately 1500 total sqft. 3 season room and open private deck with commanding views of October Mountain. All new furniture, bedding, appliances and totally renovated bathroom and laundry room. YouTube TV, smart TV and high speed guest wireless on site. Backyard fire pit. Gas BBQ grill on the back deck for spring, summer and fall. Enjoy morning coffee in the sun porch or on the back deck.. All the comforts of home plus whatever you may have forgotten to bring with you. Owners were wonderful hosts who were available to assist in any way requested. Great central location for many Berkshire attractions. I would highly recommend this VRBO for a comfortable pleasant Berkshire vacation.

Wonderful property and stay....quiet location, clean, convenient parking and everything (appliances, lights, blinds, TV, etc.) worked! Close drive to all the attractions in the Berkshires including Tanglewood. Great hosts. We will stay longer the next time we come back.

Loved our stay

This is a beautiful place, and Amy and Gary are wonderful hosts. The home is well stocked with anything you might need. We had a great time here with our school-aged kids and hope to make it back someday!

Tanglewood Reunion

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The Vrbo photo of the view from the deck was accurate. We loved the view of the Berkshire Mountains. Our host Gary appeared at just the right moment to help us with the key code, and gave us some valuable advice on local attractions, and a shortcut directions to Tanglewood.

Home Away From Home in the Berkshires

Clean, spacious quiet apartment in Lee, MA. Up to date kitchen and bath -- and central AC. Short drive to restaurants in Lee, and attractions in Stockbridge and Lenox (including Tanglewood). Gary and Amy were great hosts. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful getaway

We had an incredible time on this property. It was clean and modern with beautiful views. Great social spaces - indoor, outdoor and our favorite: the screened in porch with a cozy couch. Gary, Amy and their whole family were a delight. So warm, accommodating and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Berkshire Getaway

We came out for a long autumn weekend with our toddler out in the Berkshires. Our stay at Amy and Gary’s place was delightful and peaceful. Their cottage is well-stocked with the basics you would need. The surroundings were so beautiful and we were close to all the places we wanted to visit (I.e. Great Barrington, Stockbridge). Woke highly recommend their place :)

Southern Berkshires

We were on vacation exploring the Southern Berkshires region (Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge, Great Barrington etc.). The property is conveniently located near everything and is impeccably maintained. This was by far the cleanest most comfortable place we have rented - and we rent quite a bit. Our hats off to Amy and Gary for operating an A+ rental.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amy & Gary’s apartment. It is spotlessly clean, offers great views of the mountains, and is conveniently located. Every amenity you can imagine is provided as well as top quality kitchenware, sheets and towels. Amy and Gary are gracious hosts and promptly respond to all inquiries. Berkshires Get-Away

We loved this property. Everything looked new and fresh and clean. Upon arrival we found a great welcome basket with chocolates, coffee, and other local products. Our host, Gary, was extremely helpful and friendly. The view from the deck was spectacular! We loved watching the deer grazing in the field in the mornings.

Perfect long weekend getaway from New York

Very clean and spacious. Beautiful view of the grounds and rolling hills beyond. Nice to sit out on the deck for dinner. Plenty of things to do. Nice restaurants and shopping. Big grocery store 3 minutes away by car. Gary was very attentive. Perfect!!

More than exceptional!

This was our second time staying at Amy and Gary’s beautiful apartment and we can’t wait to come back. The place is super clean, cozy and comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Amy and Gary are wonderful hosts, giving you the privacy you need, but are also very communicative and available to help with anything you need. The location is easy to get to and centrally located to all of the popular spots in the Berkshire’s. Thank you Amy and Gary…we had a fantastic weekend!

Beautiful Getaway

Perfect and spacious setup for a two-couple getaway! It rained all weekend, but we still spent time in the sunroom looking over the Berkshires. Open floor plan made it easy to prep food, talk, and play games at the kitchen table all at once! Close to town center and Lenox attractions. Gary and Amy were a text away and very accommodating the entire trip. Basket of locally made goodies was an extra treat to an already great stay. Highly recommend:)

Weekend in Lee

Our family of three enjoyed a great weekend at the rental in Lee, MA.It is quiet, clean and well-kept and appointed. An east-facing outdoor deck and sunroom provide great views no matter the time of day. The open kitchen / living room have views with great outdoor light. The location is terrific with convenient access to Tanglewood, Lee, Lenox and hiking. A good grocery is less than a mile away. Entry/exit was easy. Gary, the owner, was friendly, informative and responsive. He knows the area well with great recommendations, whether for back-roads to Tanglewood parking or local hikes.Highly recommended.

Great Location Close to Everything

My husband and I stayed at this clean, spacious, and well-equipped apartment adjacent to the hosts' home for three nights to visit nearby attractions in Lenox, Pittsfield, Great Barrington, and Stockbridge. It was a wonderful property and the hosts couldn't have been nicer. We especially loved the gift basket prepared with some of their favorite area treats. Communication about the check-in/check-out process was simple. FYI for future travelers: there are no bathroom toiletries provided so ensure you bring yours from home.

Great home away from home, great views

Gary and Amy are exceptionally nice people and provided a well stocked apartment in pristine condition for our five-day stay. Everything we needed was there and the basket of local goodies was an extra nice touch. Views of October Mountain from the enclosed sunroom and adjoining deck are great. The apartment is location in a quiet residential neighborhood less than a mile away from downtown Lee and only a short drive to Lenox, Stockbridge, and Pittsfield. Potential renters should be aware that the apartment is on the second floor and only accessible via stairs. Great place to kick back and relax for a few days!

Beautiful Berkshires

It was a pleasure staying in Gary and Amy's "in-law" apartment for three weeks this summer. As hosts, they were extremely thoughtful, friendly and responsive. The space was wonderfully comfortable, roomy, super clean and well equipped. The local gift basket was such a nice touch. I especially enjoyed watching the wildlife and beautiful mountain views while sitting on the screened porch or open deck. Although it's attached to the host's house by a walkway, it has a very private feel and the location is convenient to all the Berkshires activities, including shopping, hiking, restaurants and cultural venues. I look forward to returning next year!

We could live here! :)

We would honestly live in to this lovely 2 bedroom VRBO. Each room was extra spacious, super clean and well appointed. The open kitchen had new appliances and all the cooking accessories you would have in your own kitchen. The four of us were plenty comfortable in the living room area, and you could also get some alone or quiet time in the sun room or on the deck. The bathroom was beautiful (we took pictures just in case we ever remodeled our own bath). The owners were very guest focused and the local gift basket was such a nice touch. This lovely place is so much more special than a hotel room and we are hoping to rent again on our next Tanglewood trip.

After graduating high school in Floral Park NY, My family decided to move to the Berkshires permanently. I had been coming to this area since 1968. After establishing a life long career for myself, I met my wife in 1993 and we married in 1997. She has been a life long resident of Berkshire County. Both of us work in the area.

Growing up in Long Island, NY my family and I would make frequent trips to the Berkshires. The property was originally purchased in 1983 as a small ranch house. Over the years, several renovations and the addition of the garage apartment in 2004 have made this a great place to call home and raise a family.

A unique property close to town with a large open area and abundant wildlife. Enjoy breakfast at the breakfast bar in the 3 season porch. Watch the sun come up or enjoy the many deer, fox, and occasional bears that frequent our property. Relax on the private deck adjacent to the 3 season room.
