We couldnā€™t have asked for a better stay! The apartment was absolutely perfectā€”beautifully decorated, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was unbeatable: tucked in a quiet, charming neighborhood but just minutes from all the best local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our host went above and beyondā€”super responsive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was seamless. Weā€™ve stayed in a lot of rentals, but this one truly stands out. A perfect respite!

A perfect place to spend a couple of days, exploring Wiscasset and beyond. ā€˜Maine Memoriesā€™ was very comfortable, nicely cared for, located within walking distance of parks, harbor and restaurants and we would definitely love to stay again. See you next year!

Wonderful place!

Very clean and nicely decorated. Super close to shops and Redā€™s Eats in Wiscasset. Lots of little extras which were so nice (tissues, shampoo, soap, and hand soap). Loved the courtyard right out the front door. Great place to sit and enjoy the sun and flowers. Wonderful to have a parking spot just for us.

Maine memories

The studio was nicely appointed, kitchen has new appliances and was stocked for actual cooking. Very comfortable bed, updated bathroom. The town is charming and quiet in the evening. I enjoyed the central location for exploring mid coast Maine over 5 days, meeting many lovely people, including the hosts.

Fantastic !

What a perfect spot on our way to Bar Harbor from the Portland airport. Super clean and well maintained large studio. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful courtyard to enjoy a meal or beverage. Wiscasset is a charming waterfront town with some great restaurants. Highly recommend this very affordable unit !

Lovely!

The property was fantastic. The owners were delightful and it was a great place to stay. Only drawbacks would be, if youā€™re nit picking, parking is a small walk with stairs to the property, the stairs are small and no basic condiments, oil, butter, spices, etc. But I think the property is wonderful, but the VaCasa app wasnā€™t helpful.

Only 20 minutes from Boothbay Harbor which was our destination. We were overlooking the water and only a block from "Reds" famous for having the best lobster rolls in Maine. This was proven as the line to this little shop had about 40 people in it around lunch time.

Lovely space in terrific location

On the second floor of a lovely old home just steps from the river. Walkable to all of the sights and amenities in the village of Wiscasset. Discovered the Jolie Roger oyster bar and would recommend. Parking in the next building over was not an issue and it was nice to keep the car off of the road in an assigned space. Nice to have a kitchen and table/chairs. Comfortable bed and one comfortable chair, the rest of the furniture was nice, but may not be suitable if there are 2 of you travelling, and you need to spend time inside or you need to do some remote work out of the space. The stairs are steep and windy but not too much of a problem.

Cozy. Clean. Located on the second floor of an old house.The small but efficient kitchenette, updated bathroom and comfortable bed provided all the basics needed for a quiet but well located visit to this area. Cozy decorations. Perfect location for a short walk to the stores and restaurants in Wiscasset. And a great launch site to nearby attractions in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't stay long enough to make use of the kitchenette but it had everything you would need.if you wanted to cook for yourself. The parking was rough to get in and out. Better suited for a small car.

Quaint Stay

The apartment was very nice. It had everything we needed. If you need t.v. at the end of your day to rewind, there werenā€™t many channels to view. Instructions for trash and recycling would of been helpful. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Nice property, but . . .

First thing: Nowhere in the listing was it mentioned that this property was up a set of narrow, winding stairs. We opted to carry our stuff in without our suitcase because of the steepness. Also, Wiscasset is a ghost town after 5:00, so don't plan to find so much as a place for supper after that. The property was mostly clean and relatively comfortable.

Beautiful and quaint

Very beautiful location. Not much going on during the off-season but there is a small cafe down the street. The rental was on the top floor which was a bit annoying but the room is cute and well outfitted. I stayed 2 weeks and didn't have a complaint. I did have issues getting the keys in the beginning but Im sure that's been resolved since. Parking is a bit wonky but really isn't that bad. Be prepared to find a spot to do your laundry. I didn't plan ahead for that! Overall very nice. Wiscasset is an adorable town and a great place to stay to enjoy the state's offerings.

Great property for the right guests

The unit is a bright, sunny apartment in the first block of downtown Wiscasset. If your goal is to experience a lobster roll at Red's Eats, you'll be hard pressed to find a closer property to stay in. The negatives expressed in some other reviews do exist (shower stains, rust stains on towels), but we did not find that to be terribly off-putting, given the price. Everything was clearly clean if not spotless. This is a second-floor unit in an historic building with steep steps. While not a lot of fun, I was able to manage them even with a bad knee and a considerable need to lose weight. Nevertheless, if stairs are a challenge, be sure you keep this under consideration. WiFi was terrific. The signal was fast and stable the entire time. The television in the apartment is a bit small. It receives only basic cable, but who comes to Wiscasset to watch television, right? The bed is queen size and a solid piece of furniture. The mattress is beginning to show its age -- I recommended to the landlord they consider replacing. Bottom line: If I'm ever in need of accommodations in Wiscasset, this will be the first place I look. We truly appreciated the location, the hospitality, and the price!
