Located in the heart of the Ocean Point Colony this three-bedroom summer cottage offers the experience of a true Maine vacation. Open studded walls and some antique furnishings add to the charm and character of this summer cottage. Pull up a rocking chair on the front porch and relax for a while. You can see the ocean just down the street. Enjoy morning walks and evening strolls along the Shore Road where you'll experience the rocky coast of Maine with sea life, light houses, crashing waves, and sea spray in the air. The Ocean Point community center is just around the corner where kids and adults can play tennis and enjoy daily planned activities and gatherings. The community center also has a playground for kids. Ocean Point is located nearby to Boothbay harbor, which offers fine dining, and harbor cruises, schooner trips, whale watching, and clam bakes. You'll want to return year after year. No Smoking,

Another amazing week at Sea Haven

We have rented this cottage several times. It is large and well stocked and has a wonderful main cottage vibe. We absolutely love it here.

What a Maine cottage is supposed to be

Perfect rustic Maine cottage. I read 2 great books and we had some fun games at the table with old friends. Perfect!

We had a wonderful time in this quaint and quirky cottage by the sea. Beautifully furnished to reflect the age of the house. Every amenity generously provided. Enjoyed our coffee on the porch watching the boats go by. Seemed to be a close knit community which we liked. A 5 K race went by our doorstep on the first day! A wonderful stay in an area we consider heaven.

cozy cottage by the ocean

After a full day of sight seeing all the lighthouses in the area, it was great coming back to this peaceful cottage! We loved walking down to the rocky shore and watching the sunrise! Kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. A perfect weekend

Cottage with views and walks

We two couples enjoyed this cottage with so many walks along the lovely rocky mid-coast shore. Catching dramatic sunsets was a favorite while sitting on the rocks located a short half block down the street.

Pleasant Spot

Our family enjoyed our week by the ocean. It's a short walk down the street to sit on the rocks to view the boat traffic or a gorgeous sunset. There are places for the kids to play and plenty nice walks. The cottage was comfortable and had plenty of room.

Ocean point on point

We enjoyed the rustic feel of the cottage in a great location! The property managers were very easy to talk to and got back to us quickly, answering all of our questions as we asked them. Thank you very much for giving us this opportunity to vacation in your home.

Such a relaxing stay!

We came up the end of June into the 4th of July and had a fabulous week. The house had anything and everything you could need. We had a minor glitch where the coffee pot wasn't working and I sent a message to the owner, just so they could have it replaced before the next guests, but they had the caretakers bring a new pot right over! It arrived less than an hour after I sent the message! We loved the little book with the history of the house and the Family that has loved it since 1920!

A slice of paradise

This property was available as advertised. It offers the most authentic rustic charm matched with the most perfect location. My children are the 4th generation to vacation on OP! It truly is a slice a paradise frozen in time. The ocean is a view and steps away as well as the playground, tennis courts, pickle ball, etc. we appreciate Sea Haven!

Perfect Maine coast camp!

This place was a special treat. It is quite campish on the inside. There are tons of cool old dishware. The best part was the location. It has a view of the ocean from the porch in 2 directions. Also, there is a community center about 2 houses away. It's great for kids with an indoor area containing ping pong, air hockey and more. My family loved it there.

Quiet and fun

We had an awesome time at Sea Haven. Smell the fresh sea air, walk all over the point. Cute little beach. Climbed on the rock path.Even got some kitty pets in with Oscar at the end of the street! The kids were having loads of fun playing. It was great. Even the weather cooperated. Lovely sea breeze on the porch and in the house.

Ocean Point House

Unfortunately there was an odor in the kitchen which put a damper on our stay. Also an outdoor light fixture fell when we closed the front door which was hard to close. The owners communicated about our issues which was good. And location is excellent.

Great vacation with just one problem

We arrived on Saturday afternoon and found the cottage in clean and welcoming condition. It appeared to have everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. There was an unavoidable issue with the element in the hot water heater so the owners promptly had it repaired and reimbursed us for the two days for which we had no hot water. The owners were very responsive and helpful, and we had a very lovely vacation in the beautiful Ocean Point.

Great location…would benefit from a refresh!

Maintaining the historical nature of the cottage is sentimentally endearing, however physically uncomfortable. Seating and beds made it difficult to rest and relax. The tiny electric stove and vintage kitchen tools made cooking a challenge. However, the short walking distance to the rocky coastline was delightful.

Sea Haven at Ocean Point

The house is very shabby on the outside -- paint peeling, some wood rot. The only house in Ocean Point not well maintained. Both owners live thousands of miles away, so are not there to maintain the property. The interior is fine, and clean, but a bit cluttered. The location is A+. My daughter and son in law are experienced vacation house renters and felt that this was somewhat overpriced based on its condition.

This house was purchased by our grandparents in 1938 and they enjoyed it for many years then passed down to our mother and now to us 3 boys and our families.

Walking a half a block to the ocean and being able to enjoy the sunsets and waves crashing on the rocks.
