This beautiful 3-bedroom home, located near the famous Shawnee Mountain Ski Area and the scenic Bushkill Falls, makes for the perfect family vacation. The immediate Pocono Mountain surroundings offer hiking, fishing, bike riding, horseback riding, golf, skiing, camping, and other recreational activities.

The house is located within the Pocono Mountain Lake Estates Community (pmle1234.net ), and residents have complimentary access to local amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, game room for children, and an exercise room. A 5-minute walk from the house, you can enjoy a tranquil lake with a sandy beach (lifeguard on duty in summer months). Next to the lake is a playground and picnic area with barbecue pits.

This comfortable mountain retreat has a large living room with a working fireplace and an entertainment center with a 65” LCD TV, DVD, satellite cable, and stereo. Large windows surround the room, so you can watch the sun rise and set. A spacious dining room comfortably sits eight people, and the kitchen is stocked with quality appliances and utensils (toaster, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, plates, pans, etc.). All you need to bring is the food.

The quiet backyard deck has , Weber gas and charcoal grill, hot tub, backyard furniture for dining and sunbathing. You can enjoy the deer that frequent the grounds while cooking diner or relaxing near fire pit.

The first floor also has two bedrooms (one queen size and one full size) and one bathroom. The second floor master bedroom has a queen size bed, walk-in closet, and a 47” LCD TV and VCR. The spacious master bathroom rounds out the second floor, and has a sauna, shower, and whirlpool tub that fits two very comfortably.

The whole house has central air so even on the hottest days you can stay cool inside. The basement has a washer, dryer, pool table, and a small gym with 3 exercise machines.

I provide freshly cleaned sheets, blankets, and towels. The house is always immaculate because I have a cleaning service that comes right before you arrive.

Great access to Bushkill Falls and Delaware Water Gap for hiking (we did both). Grill and outdoor patio area were great, ample space to relax. Hot tub was broken but owner offered a small refund given that this was not functional. Overall a great stay!

This house was in the perfect spot.. private but very close to the beach!! Being that close to the beach was the best part. Loved the master suite as well.

Family summer vacation

This was the perfect mini vacation at the end of the summer for our family! We loved walking over to the beach and lake where you can fish and swim and build sand castles. The nature and wildlife all around was so fun. Thank you it was such a great getaway. Such a lovely area! Thank you!

Oldie house but has its charm. For the past several years we been coming back. Very nice owner, easy to deal with. Very good location. A bonus of sauna and outdoor hot tub.

Great all around

My family had a great time staying here in the winter time to catch one last ski day for the season. The neighborhood is very nice, with visits from a beautiful family of deer! The amenities of the house are great, we thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, especially after a tiring day on the slopes! The kitchen, although fairly small, was fully stocked with what we needed to cook and the large dining table served our needs perfectly for family meals. We would greatly recommend this property and would return again.

AMAZING HOUSE

This property is absolutely stunning, and the location is beautiful. I was unsure when i booked the place but it really blew me over, and the homeowner was really helpful as well. I came here with a group of friends and we were all amazed at how much we enjoyed this house. The bedrooms are spacious and the master bedroom is breathtaking. The master bedroom has a sauna and Jacuzzi located in the bathroom (we fit 6 people in the sauna) and everyone really enjoyed it. The hot tub was amazing as well, it really topped of the whole experience. Overall, the house was amazing and I will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you to the owner who was a pleasure to deal with.

Nice remote getaway

Great house to stay with extended family. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather, so we could not take advantage of the hiking opportunites. The complex has a nice indoor and outdoor pool. Since we had bad weather we wish we were closer to more indoor activities for our kids (bowling, zoo etc is about 30 mins). Still not a bad drive. That being said my kids loved the pool table in the basement. It was old, as were the exercise machines, but worked for their purpose. We did not use the hot tub or sauna. Was very comfortable and roomy for our family and my parents.

Great Experience

Overall this was a great experience. Getting there and check-in was very easy. Location is great - just few minutes away from Bushkill Falls, very quiet. We had deer grazing nearby all the time. They would come as close as 5-10 feet from the house. The manager/owner was super responsive and easy to get hold of. They were very accommodating and helpful. The house is on the older side and needs some repairs but that did not bother us too much. The main areas were were stay (e.g., living room, deck, bedrooms) were very clean but there were a lot of small things that needed repair/paint/touch-up. That was not a big deal for us. Overall this was a great trip. Thank you for letting us stay at your house.

Family Fun all year round!

My family and I have been staying at this Bushkill rental for years. Even before my husband and I had children, we would escape here for romantic getaways. We now enjoy it with our 2 year old daughter and 6 year old son. The kids love the lake/beach which is literally around the corner and the close proximity to the indoor and outdoor community pools is great! The home itself is warm and inviting, the fireplace is great on those chilly fall or winter nights and the perfect place to make S'mores. The hot tub on the deck is the biggest plus for me, it is always clean and ready to go. The owner of the property is very polite and makes sure that the pantry and linen closets are fully stocked with everything you'll need to make your stay as worry free and enjoyable as possible. Just bring your food, clothing and personal items and consider yourself ready for fun. We're hoping to stay here again as soon as possible.

Winter stay

Overall cabin in in ok condition just very old and outdated. All furnishings and fixtures from the 80s. The main problem for me was the cleanliness. It said on the listing that the cabin was professionally cleaned before each guest, and there was a fee for cleaning. When I arrived it was clear that this wasn't the case. The towels,sheets, and floors were clean but nothing else. Inches of dust covered the surfaces, the bathrooms were so gross that I had to scrub both of them before we could use them. I messaged the homeowner right away and he responded quickly and even refunded my cleaning fee. But the worst part was the jacuzzi which I didn't find out until the last day. We had used it every night,and then on the last day we used it in the morning. I had noticed that the seats felt a little slippery, but didn't think anything of it. Once I was in it in the daylight I could see why. Who knows when the last time it was cleaned. It was filthy and full of beach sand from the summer time. Our girls had a great time, but I will definitely not stay again.

You greatly exaggerated what you wrote. I bought 6 months ago 3 new bedrooms and 3 new leather sofas in living room. You was wrong about hot tub after 3 days heavy use. I check with my cleaning company and they told me that impossible to found so dirty bathrooms. I am glad that your children have fun.

Nice place in the Poconos

We enjoyed staying at this home in the Poconos. We were here for Thanksgiving, so mostly just hung around at home, but were happy for the hot tub, fireplace, and sauna. Thanks for the nice place to stay, and excellent communication and easy process!

All Inclusive Lake Beach getaway

With the included amenities of the lake community, you have premium access to a lake beach, canoeing, fishing, sand volleyball and more. Very private area that is backed up to the woods, so you can sip coffee with the deer in the morning. My significant other and I had a great break from work retreat.

What a lovely property. Stayed at the end of winter and very much enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Property was as advertised and very clean. Basement games also quite fun, not a regulation pool table by any stretch but good times were had by all! Thank you :)

Perfect location and tons of deer!

We absolutely loved staying here! Amazing location, woke up to deer in the yard every morning, awesome hot tub, my husband LOVED using the sauna, HUGE jacuzzi tub in the master….. we really did love it all! Host was easy to reach and sent us all of the local spots to visit. My family can’t wait to go back!!
