Welcome to Yellowtail Island Retreat, your private getaway in the heart of the Florida Keys. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in Marathon comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and is designed for both relaxation and adventure. Step onto the wrap around porch and covered balcony, complete with ceiling fans and pull down shade, and take in the tranquil water views. A heated and chilled pool invites you to unwind after a day on the water. There’s 30’ of private dockage on a clear, flow through canal that’s perfect for fishing, snorkeling or a quick paddle in the included double kayak. Afterward, clean your catch at the fish cleaning station, fire up the gas grill, or hop on the bicycles for a ride around the neighborhood. Inside the home features a master suite with a king bed, flat screen tv, a spa like bath including a bidet. The other guest bedrooms include a queen bed and a room with two twin beds. The granite kitchen is fully equipped to entertain.

Michelle is a great host! She took care of all of our needs and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. House is in a great location with a private pool and dockage for the boat. We seen lots of fish and even a manatee swim by one day. Our family loves Marathon!

We stayed here the week of Christmas. Everything was great. The house was nice and clean, and Michelle was very responsive to any questions we had. Our only complaint, which had nothing to do with the house or Michelle, was that Mother Nature didn't fully cooperate during our stay. But that's winter time in Florida.

This property was wonderful, clean, great kitchen and the pool was perfect and heated so we could swim even on cooler days. Michelle was so helpful and communicative and I would highly recommend this house if you are heading to the Keys!

Perfect house for the keys. Nice deep canal with quick direct access to the gulf but tucked away enough to keep out of the winds. All the amenities downstairs for water activities and the inside was spacious, clean and up to date. Highly recommend

Great place

Stay for the week during many season, caught our fair share. Could have limited out both days, but or the type of people that just take what we need. So got some good grouper and hogfish enjoyed cooking and relax them by the pool. Definitely, a nice canal. Wasn't stagnant. Just a straight shot right out into the gulf of america

A little slice of Heaven

My family and I always vacation in Marathon Key every April. We could not have been happier with this home. It was super clean which is a must for me. The pool is huge and so refreshing. We had so much sea life at the dock. Every morning I started with a kayak ride around the small islands right outside the canal which was lovely. There are 2 bikes which we rode in the evenings. Michelle is amazing to work with. Any questions you have are answered immediately! The house was so well stocked with all your necessities and more. You won't be disappointed if you rent here with Michelle. The home is absolutely gorgeous and Michelle is an amazing Host! We will definitely be back! My family had a blast. This was the perfect home to recharge, reconnect, and unplug from our busy lives. Thank you Michelle for a fantastic vacation! (Also we had a major issue with one of our rental cars . We let Michelle know and she was so understanding! )

Great family vacation

We’ve been coming to Marathon for several years and this might be the best house we’ve stayed at. Very clean and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Fabulous pool. Quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again.

BEAUTIFUL keys vacation home !!

We have been coming down to the keys for many years and the yellowtail retreat is definitely our new favorite place. The home is beautiful, spotless, and in a perfect location. The house has everything that you could possibly need and more. It was so nice to have a beautiful pool to get into at the end of our day out on the water. Nice dock to put our 20ft boat on. Boat ramp 2 mins away. We enjoyed riding the bikes provided. The kitchen is perfect we made dinner every single night. We can not say enough about this great keys get away. Michelle the owner was so wonderful. She immediately returned our text. Great communicator. She made the whole process very easy . Great stay!

We had an amazing time staying at Yellowtail Island retreat. We have been vacationing in Marathon for the last 15 years and this home was by far the best! It was just as advertised clean, well stocked with all the equipment you need and the pool was wonderful. I would say that the boat slip seemed a little smaller than what was stated online but the boat we rented did fit. Also in the afternoon the sun was right on the pool and there wasn't really any shaded area to sit which was hard when you have kids in the pool and you want to sit and watch on the side. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for us. Will definitely be staying here in the future.

Great time great

Very roomy. All the accessories that you will need for a week stay. Bring your food, clothes and need for relaxation and everything else is there. Host Michelle was very proactive with any concerns we had which were very few. Would definitely return just trying to settle on a date.

Amazing Home!

This was our 1st visit to the Keys. We have planned this for so long & it was a dream come true! The location of the house is perfect & located closely to grocery stores, gas stations & bait shops. We towed our boat and the location was also great. Located on the gulf side, but it only a 5-minute ride to the Vaca cut. The house itself was very clean and updated. The layout was great and we had everything we needed. The pool was a must! It was much larger than we expected. We cannot wait to book with Michelle again. She was an outstanding host and very attentive. Vaca cut

Great stay

Everything was perfect. Close to access gulf or Atlantic. Spent many hours in the pool. Inside home comfortable with everything you need. Outside comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Bring toilet paper as we had none in the house when we got there.

Perfect Property!

This was our second time staying at Yellowtail Island Retreat. The first time was so great, we had to return! It is the perfect property for our party of six (2 adults and 4 teens). The house is great…very clean and well stocked with basic kitchen and bath essentials. It is conveniently located to both land and sea destinations. There were a ton of fish in the canal. The kids enjoyed fishing from the dock on their down time and got to see several manatees and big tarpon. The pool is larger than most and so refreshing on a hot day. Michelle is great! We had to contact her a couple of times during our stay, and she immediately responded. The bike chain broke on one of the bikes provided and she delivered a brand new bike to us the very next day! We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Highly recommend this property!

Cleanest place in the keys

Communication with owner was pleasant with immediate responses. House is exactly as listed and clean as clean can be. Hats off to the cleaning crew. We just loved coming back to the house and hanging out in the pool.

We used to live in this home and have entertained here a lot. Now it's your turn to entertain in this home! The home sits on one of Marathon's only flow through canals which make the water clarity crystal clear. We love all things on the water, from snorkeling the third largest reef in the world located just 5 miles off of Marathon. We also enjoy ocean side and bay fishing.
