Welcome to Ocean View Retreat! Located in the heart of Marathon with spectacular open water ocean views and direct and immediate deep water access to the Atlantic Ocean, this Keys home is the perfect retreat for your family or friends looking to enjoy all the Keys have to offer! Whether you come to fish or lobster the crystal-clear world-class waters, snorkel or dive the wrecks, relax at Sombrero Beach, cool off at a local sandbar, or dine at the freshest seafood restaurants anywhere, this comfortable home is sure to make you want to come back again and again!

This quaint Keys home features 2 bedrooms (King master with ensuite bath, 2 Queens in second bedroom) and 2 bathrooms. It has all the amenities needed for the perfect Keys' getaway. The living room has 2 leather couches (one with 2 power recliners) and a single power recliner and a large TV with Roku so you can stream your favorite game, news or other apps. There are also two desks (living room, master bedroom) to utilize for trip planning and keeping caught up with email. The kitchen is complete with a large refrigerator, a small beverage refrigerator, dishwasher, large sink and counter areas to easily prep and serve food to the kitchen bar area or to the dining table.

Only steps from your door, the exterior living includes a private hot tub with ocean view, grill for your catch or favorite foods, a couple's pub chairs and table set to relax and enjoy the perfect sunsets at the right time of year, a dining table for 6, extra chairs to relax with your favorite cocktail and watch the ocean flow. Turn the heat down on the hot tub in the summer to relax and cool off with a evening soak! There is a fish cleaning table, hoses for clean-up and boat and tackle wash down, a 350 pound ice maker, bait freezer, and separate fresh catch freezer makes this the perfect property for your next fishing trip! The seawall can accommodate boats up to 26' with proper tie off. Rental boats, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear and other items can be found on island by multiple rental services. The seawall has an easy in and out launch platform for kayaks and paddle boards located at the fish cleaning table. Open pickle ball is only a couple miles away Monday - Friday from 9 am - 11 am weekly!

This is a new unit to the rental pool and we are being very aggressive with rates. So, book today before it fills up. Grab your beer, rod and tackle, and drop a line off the seawall to catch tarpon and many other species just a few steps from your door! Our local contact will help with any needs or missing items you may want. Our goal is to provide a 5-star experience on a budget, and offer the most spectacular views along the way!

The boat lift and sunshade are not available for guest use.

The City limits guests to 6 maximum, including children and infants.

Excellent Retreat

Great home, just as described. It had all the amenities needed for a restful and fun vacation. We enjoyed a lot fishing right off the back (we caught a lot of legal size fish there) and saw manatees and very nice sunsets. We will consider staying again next time we go to the keys.

Extremely clean and very comfortable! Wonderful views! Spacious and inviting! Beds were comfortable! Bonus was having a washer and dryer / returning home with clean clothes! Another bonus was a big ice maker! We would stay here again!

Peaceful retreat

You can't beat the location of this home. The views from the deck are wonderful! The location is close to everything you would need in marathon, but yet far enough of the road to be quiet and peaceful. The house was exactly as described. It was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The management company is very responsive if you have any issues. We had one minor issue and that we could not figure out how to turn on the ceiling fan and they came right out and showed us how to do it. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, everything is updated. We enjoyed our stay here. Right on the water so it was nice to sit outside in the morning and have coffee.Close to everything you you want.Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! Boat docking 15' from the house, access to the Atlantic was good. The furnishings were warm and welcome. Great water view and the ice machine made all the difference. We'll be back next summer!

Ocean views were awesome. Easy docking and acess to ocean for boat. Finally, a vacation rental with sturdy, comfortable living room furniture!! Two comfy couches (one with reclining feature) and a recliner. Updated kitchen and comfy beds. Stellar vacation home!!

Exactly as described! Right on the ocean. Saw manatees at our dockā€¦they love the fresh water from the hose! Dolphins right out front and caught lots of fish. Immaculate and everything you need here!

My wife and I had a great week. Very clean, modern and all the comforts of home. The management of this property is first class, very hands on with every detail. We had our boat and loved the access to both the ocean and Gulf, perfect location for anyone with a boat. The location is awesome, near state parks. It wouldā€™ve been nice to be able to launch our kayaks but there is no way to do so at this cottage. We very much enjoyed the scenery and newness of this cottage; updated recently. Upon early arrival we were put off and put off unable to move in altho it was emptyā€¦ floors were not clean and our main shower drain was plugged, but once we repotted it, the prob was fixed late in the evening! I never could figure out the numerous remote controls, but weā€™d brought our own Roku from home so one tv worked (for me).

Nice place to stay

This was a nice place to stay for a week. The house was clean and bright. The chairs outside were a nice touch. We spent most of our time outdoors in those chairs. The kitchen had all the things a kitchen would need to run well. All appliances worked in the kitchen. The bedrooms were well pointed and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms had soap, shampoo and conditioner. Plenty of towels were available. The furniture in the living room was comfortable and the throw blankets were a nice touch. The area the house is in seemed like a safe area. No sense of crime or people who did not belong there. Overall we would like to say that we would stay here again in the future.
