Retreat to this completely rebuilt year-round cabin set on the shores of Lake Sylvia and enjoy lake living. Gather in the main level living room with natural light from many windows offering stunning views of the shoreline. The main level is finished with a bedroom and three-quarter bathroom. Entertain in the kitchen offering a center island and sliding glass door to one of the spacious lakeside decks. Gather in the family room while taking in the amazing Lake Sylvia views, this level is complete with an additional bedroom and three-quarter bathroom. A spiral staircase will lead you to the bunkroom that opens to another lakeside deck. You’ll certainly find fantastic views of Lake Sylvia from many lakeside decks complete with a large pergola. Many gathering spaces throughout invite you to entertain and relax in this spacious year-round cabin set on water’s edge. The rental comfortably sleeps 9 and offers kayaks, fire pit, propane grill, and fishing poles for you to enjoy. Whether it’s the pitter-patter of the kids’ feet as they anxiously await a dip in the lake or a night with friends around the bon-fire, this cabin is waiting for you to start making memories. LIMITED boat docking space, please talk to host if you have questions. During peak summer months we only allow Monday-Sunday rentals (6 night minimum). Max amount of guests is 8.

Nice get away from the cities

We loved the location (just over an hour from the cities) & that we could bring our dogs. Being right on the water was awesome! Our 8 year olds had a lot of fun playing in the water close to the shore & our 11 year old had a blast using the kayak (it was his first time & he couldn’t get enough of it). It was nice being close to Annandale if we needed anything. The hostess was very nice & responsive when issues popped up (the diving raft lost a barrel & was repaired within 2 days & the grill ran out of gas & we had it replaced the same day). Over all a lovely get away to enjoy the summer.

Perfect summer getaway!

Our stay at Lake Sylvia was so special. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you'd need for time at the lake. The kitchen had new appliances and was fully stocked with spices, dishes, gadgets and a wide variety of pots, pans, etc... The beds were really comfortable, great pillows and extremely soft bedding. We enjoyed the sunset views and that the house was located on a quiet dead end road. The boys loved the kayaks, paddle board and raft. We would highly recommend this property. It can accommodate quite a few people but is also very comfortable for a small family. Lake Sylvia is one of the cleanest and clearest lakes around...don't miss your chance to experience it!

Family fun at the lake

I love Lake Sylvia and this home met all the requirements for our family. I'm a senior citizen and could navigate the stairs easily. plenty of fun in the water most importantly the swimming was awesome kayaks to use as well as fishing gear, games, and plenty of areas to relax on the decks. Nice gas grill and fully stocked kitchen. If it worked for everyone I would definitely return!

Picturesque

Beautiful Lake Sylvia property, everything in perfect working order, updated decor, well furnished and owners were generous and helpful. Property manager allowed privacy but was immediately responsive when needed. I would stay here again.

Wonderful lake get away

This is a wonderful property that has many amenities to make your stay very comfortable. We celebrated my brother and sister-in-law’s retirement here. We shared many memories as this property was originally owned by my family many years ago.

South Haven

Property was better than expected actually. The property was clean , updated , new or newer appliances . Beds were comfortable . I would highly recommend this property. The only challenge we had was the owners boat stuck out past the dock, so you have to be very careful to park a boat at the end of the dock. We had a 21 ft pontoon and a 18 foot ski type boat, which just fit along side the dock. i would not recommend anything larger if you bring your own boat, and no more that 1. Otherwise , great property and communication.

Perfect lakehouse getaway

My family spent a week at this lake house and had an amazing time. House was very clean, host was very responsive, lake Sylvia is crystal clear and plenty of things to do. The house was fully equipped, there was nothing we needed that wasn’t already there. Owners and host even went out of their way to get a boat lift moved so we could fit our boat at their dock. We will definitely plan another trip here. Thank you!

House was very nice. Recently renovated. Well equipped with toys like kayaks and paddleboard. Lots of stairs, but we knew that going in. The stairs allowed views and decks at each of the 3 levels of the house. The only caution we'd give is that the dock area was too "busy" (filled boat lifts) for us to secure our boat to it. We had to secure it to a jet ski lift and wade through the water to access our boat. But overall, we enjoyed this house and our visit there.

5 star hillside retreat on Lake Sylvia

Clean, spacious, well-provisioned property overlooking beautiful Lake Sylvia. Very good communication. A few minor issues did not detract from the sheer enjoyment of this property. Plenty of deck space, furniture, gas grill, firepit, dock, clear water, and water toys made for an outdoor experience we relished and will not soon forget. Nearly every room has lake-facing windows for prime viewing. We had only a small group, but we can see how this property could comfortably accommodate many more. Plenty of nooks and crannies and great spaces for all needs. Can't wait to return!
