We were in town for our daughters graduation from AB Tech. Our stay was awesome. We had everything we needed to enjoy a celebration dinner with our graduate, family and friends. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware dishes, etc. Beautiful property!

Loved this cabin for our girls trip. Enjoyed seeing the deer and wildlife from the porch. Close to grocery, shopping and restaurants yet in the mountains for a quiet getaway.

I felt like the property had everything that we needed for an enjoyable stay. Even had some nature visitors throughout the stay. The shared bathroom toilet leaks and the family room TV didn't work correctly but neither of those things made a significant difference. Hot tub was fantastic! Firepit was kinda broken.

House looked like it may be going through an update...smell of paint, blinds not up on windows in living room. Overall, stay was great. It was a quick trip but we enjoyed ourselves. Wish we would have realized the hot tub was tripped in the storm as we did not get to enjoy it our last night there.

Great cabin close to Asheville

Our family rented this cabin for a long weekend in Asheville. The cabin is one of six new-looking cabins perched on the side of a hill. It is spacious with a full kitchen, pots and pans, and a charcoal grill. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch, with a view of some small mountains through the trees.

The location was great and the house was adequate. We loved the quant fire pit and view. The house could use ceiling fans in the bedrooms, matching blinds on the windows, oil on the very squeaky front door. The check in direction need updating. It said to use a code to open a key lock box and to use that key to open the front door. There was no lock box only a key pad on the door. That was confusing. The check out instructions said to put all trash in the outside garbage can. There was no outside garbage can. Again confusing. However we did enjoy ourselves.

My husband and I have rented properties from VRBO for years and never wrote about a complaint, but this one was a real disappointment.Firstly, the road is very treacherous to get to the house which should have been pointed out better. Also,there are no mountain views although possibly in the winter (also should have been pointed out). The hot tub was so strong with chemicals that it burnt your eyes when you turned on the jets. We couldn't use it. The dead bolt on the front door didn't work; the recliner in the living room was broken;There is no fireplace as listed and the grill is not something you would want to cook on.The tub is not a "spa whirlpool" just a regular tub and the plug was broken so couldn't even take a bath. The toilet seat in the MBR had a missing plug so you had to be careful getting on and off; there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher.There was no attention to detail such as:No instructions for the Direct TV (which we don't have). While the owner offered to send housekeeping over before we left the next morning, we had an early out and never heard from him again.Master bathroom was spacious but no cabinet or drawers to put make-up, brushes, ect.No curtains anywhere to make it a little homeyNo nightlight in the Master bath-only the very bright light when you had to get up at nightNo wood for the firepit-and not easily obtained for seniorsThe 25- 9.4 ( exceptional) rating is questionable.

Great Cabin with Hot Tub

Really great cabin in a nice location. Quiet and has hot tub and can enjoy a nice bonfire. Great price for the location and amenities.

We loved it. There were other cabins near us, yet it was still private. It was very clean, and everything we needed was there.

Gorgeous views, with some caveats

Overall, this a great place to stay and is a short hop from places like the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. There were some caveats to it that kept me from giving it 5 stars. 1) The beds were squeaky/loud so it was a little hard to sleep. 2) the kitchen is a little sparse as far as things like measuring cups and Tupperware are concerned. 3) This is the biggest one, the HVAC filter didn’t look like it had been changed in years and was caked with dust and pet dander. Our friends have really bad allergies so this was a bit disappointing and we ended up just picking up a filter from Ingles and opening the windows. Thankfully the weather was perfect. Outside of that, it was very clean and the porch/fire pit were the most used places. Was a great place to relax and unplug.

Cabin without the view

Overall, the property was clean, neat, well-appointed, and homey. The only items lacking were firewood and the promised view of the mountains and horse farm. The views pictured on the website were from that of a lower cabin. Our cabin was higher up on the hill, and the only view was of trees. The fire pit area was wedged into a tight space between the corner of the cabin and a steep dropoff down the hillside. We decided not to use it for safety reasons. However, we enjoyed our time both at the cabin and driving through the beautiful countryside. The cabins were grouped together yet were far enough apart to offer privacy. If we were to book here again, we would definitely want the lower cabin with the larger fire pit space and farm view.

Restful weekend

Pretty view especially in the mornings -deck was my favorite space. We saw 3 deer in the yard. House is nice and new - but SO new that kitchen could have used a few more things (steak knives, cookie sheet, fan for bedroom…) S’mores at fire pit was a nice treat. Thanks - hope to be back!

we had a great stay overall. we definitely would stay there again. however it would be great if access to fire pit would be better. Hanging some decoration on the storm door because it can easily be missed that there is a storm door. LOL

Great location and home

Great location within short drive to Asheville and many trials for hiking. House is set on hill and is separated from the other cabins which is nice. Nice decor and plenty of room.

Candler

The property was newer than what was shown ob VRBO. Very nice very clean. The only drawback was that the property advertised a creek nearby but we couldn’t find it. It was easy, however, to get to all the sights we wanted to see. I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to the area. Thanks for having us!

Nice Cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin in the country. Beautiful setting behind a horse farm on the side of a hill. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable after a long day hiking. Especially loved the front porch where we could sit and enjoy a glass of wine.

Perfect Asheville Cabin

Very clean which is always most important to us. Close to grocery and blue ridge parkway. Perfect space to land after full days of hiking and seeing the sites.

Family trip to NC Oct 2020

We stayed for an extended weekend to visit family and were very happy with the rental. Very clean. Great scenery. Deer in our yard every morning. Easy access to the area. Even though I am directionally challenged, and a bit of a worry wart, the provided directions led us straight to the cabin. Check in was stress free as well. Have already recommended to family that might visit as well. For my first VRBO experience, I am very pleased.
