The beach is a short walk distance from the house, making this a perfect spot to enjoy a day of sun, swim, catch fish, etc. Our home offers an open living space, comfortable bedrooms featuring full size beds, a fully equipped kitchen (including appliances like air fryer, toaster oven, blender, etc.) and an open deck to relax after your days in the sun. Nice home quiet and clean.

Felt very homey

The location was amazing. The neighborhood was very quiet and neighbors super friendly. The home was beautiful and felt like home away from home.

Fun get-a-way

Your house is darling. We usually have a bigger crowd, so I was wondering if two bedrooms was going to work. There were three of us and it did nicely. It was very clean and we found all the things we needed that we did not bring. Thanks again for your hospitality. I hope we get back soon.

Best Beach house

Fourth of July on Crystal beach was the absolute best and this beach house had the best location and beach access. Would absolutely stay here again! ❤️💙🇺🇸

Fun getaway!

The property was just right for my husband & I. It was very clean & cozy. The property manager was friendly & easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

A Relaxing Getaway

My boyfriend and I had an excellent trip! We arrived a little late but our host was hospitable and had prompt communication with us. The home was clean, cool, and looked even nicer than the pictures. The atmosphere was welcoming and made us feel at home. We had everything we needed. It’s a great location in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and some local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Family time

The property was so cute. It was just the right size for our amount of people. Quite neighborhood. Not too far from the beach. The owner was so nice and friendly. She was helpful with anything we needed. For a small group I’d definitely recommend.

Great spot

We stayed for 4 days here and it was great! A perfect place for 3-4 people. Plenty of room for a small group. The beds aren't bad and the kitchen is nice. The location of the neighborhood is perfect right in between Dollar General and The big store and right in front of the water slides. We rented a golf cart and it was perfect to go to and from the beach. All in all we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Fun family getaway

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Rusty Pelican! It was clean, A/C worked great and it was very close to the beach- just a short golf cart ride or walk away. Great communication with the host! Would definitely stay here again!

Good property - poor communication

The owner did not provide entry instructions and did not respond for 2 hrs after we arrived! Otherwise, the property is nice. Just don't expect good communication from the owner.

Cancelled beach trip

We arrived at 4:45pm on a very hot day and the key pad lock didn’t work. We called the owner numerous times sent a text. It took her 30 min to respond. Someone brought a key. The next morning, we all woke at 6am to an electrical burning smell. It was the AC. Again we called and it took 30 min for a response. We had been at the property less than 24 hrs when we decided to cancel since we had no way of knowing when the AC would be fixed, and this is Texas in June — the temps in the state were already near 100 degrees. We also discovered when we arrived that the septic tank was “sensitive” and we could not even flush TP down the toilet. Plus, there was no ice or even ice trays in the freezer and no coffee filters for the coffee maker. Although the beach house was very nice, with the septic issues and the lack of simple amenities like ice trays and coffee filters, we would not book this place again. Also, for the inconvenience of having our trip cancelled in less than 24 hrs., we feel like we should not have been charged for 1 night plus service fees.

Beach Bash 2023

A large group of friends stayed at several houses and my family stayed here. We absolutely loved it and will certainly be back again!

Perfect location

The house was in a perfect location. We brought our golf cart and only used the truck to go to galveston. The house was spotless and had everything a normal house requires. We will for sure stay again.

If your looking for a great place real close to the beach, stores and reseraunts. Highly recomend.

We had 4 days of fun and this place was more than what we expected. Side by side friendly. Cant wait to go back.

Awesome!! Perfect place!!

Adorable well kept home in quiet neighborhood with easy access to beach as well as local restaurants, grocery store, gas station and access to the ferry. Home has everything you need for some time away. Highly recommend!!

PERFECT vacation

Our stay was PERFECT! We walked in and felt cozy, at home, and welcomed. The atmosphere proved to be as if we were actually at our own beach house. There was literally everything we needed was supplied. We plan on making this beach house a annual trip. It literally provided a place to disconnect from the "normal" outside world and reconnect to family and what is important, share some fun, experience a first time fishing trip, jet skiing, beautiful sunsets, and realize what happens when when families choose to stop for a few days and stop to just chill with each other.
