Great location right on the lake. The house had everything we needed for our family reunion for 5 nights. We rented the pontoon boat for a day, very convenient and fun! I recommend this home for a nice lake vacation.

great for groups!

My group had so much fun staying here. Perfect place for a big group of girls. There are plenty of bedrooms and lots of space to gather. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking at the house. Location is great as well! Close to downtown and near stores.

Nice lake front house

Over all a nice property. Would be nice to have a crockpot to use. Due to number of adults in our group, two coffee pots would have been helpful. Being right on water was great, kids had great fun swimming off the dock.

Beautiful Lake Views

Had a wonderful time with family at this lake house. House was clean and well stocked. Cooking pans and utensils were great. Would definitely come back with family.

Great spot on the water. Dock is big, but needs basic maintenance. Swimming was good right off the dock, but wear water shoes. The house was roomy for us and a nice place for our reunion. Property manager was quick to respond. The only bummer was that we were hoping to keep our boat on the dock, but when we got there they only had one working mooring whip. This meant that we had to take it out when the water was rough, which was about an hour process each time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great home

This property is amazing. Has direct lake front access with great deck and small yard. The house is huge and has plenty of spaces to sleep for larger gathering. Highly recommend!

Couples Bach Party

My fiancƩ and I stayed here with our bridal party. The house was perfect! There were beautiful views, a great outdoor space, and enough bedrooms for everybody. It was located close to town too!

Spacious and beautiful house on the lake. Perfect for a group of women who needed a ton of space and multiple bathrooms. Perfect event space for our gathering, and close to breweries and wineries.

60th wedding anniversary with entire family

The house is well located on the lake. Swimming off the dock is great. the bedrooms accommodated all of our 17 family members very comfortably. The owner rented his pontoon boat to us for the week which was put to good use. Great vacation.

Lots of room for our gang! Great location.

Weekend stay for a wedding

We were in town for a wedding. A large group of family members stayed at the house. It was perfect for everyone. Plenty of space. The property was well maintained. The dock was awesome and having the boat access was a nice feature. Would definitely stay again.

Great time

Had a great week at the house. Plenty of room for our group of thirteen. Everyone had their own space. Only drawback were the tiny showers in two of the bathrooms. Having access to the pontoon was a big plus.

Stayed with college friends. Listing was true to photos. Basement refrigerator did not work, but was able to make the kitchen refrigerator work out. Could use some quality knives. Good response from host.

A great family property

We all appreciated the responsiveness of the property manager to a couple issues we had (a problem with the internet). Everyone had their own rooms and there were plenty of bathrooms (4), all in great condition. We liked being close to the water ( compared with the property we had been renting). The kitchen was well equipped for a cooking family like us. All in all, a great family week.

Great for a family reunion!

Great house, fantastic location! It was wonderful to rent the boat from the owner as well. Lots of towels available and the two washers and dryers were amazing! The frying pans in the kitchen need to be replaced because they are all non stick and are scratched so they are not healthy to use. The house sleeps 20 but there is only dining room seating for 8 to 10. Luckily we brought a large folding table and the house had folding chairs but it would be great if they had another table at the house. Overall, itā€™s an excellent VRBO! Thanks for a great stay!

GREAT SPACE

I had 2 children with spouses and 4 grandchildren, and everyone had their own space, what a treat. The downstairs was great as it was used for gaming when it rained. Proximity to Boatworks was wonderful to take boat for overnight. Would love to see a couple of loungers for the lawn, a couple of Adirondack chairs on the dock, and a couple of new fry pans. With all that said we have rented it again for next July.

15 years of family trips to Lake location

First time at Canandaigua our family loved the lake and location and the dock was perfect for our family as we love swimming in the lake We had access to my sonā€™s boat and loved exploring the lake We also found fun biking trails and the downtown area was very nice Had a great dinner at Kix and lunch at Public House Minor problem with downstairs bedrooms AC as one of the units was set to heat instead of cooling I donā€™t know if it was done by us or the previous occupant but clearer instructions would be helpful Owner rectified the issue promptly ! Great family reunion spot

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. It had all the amenities we were looking for. We wanted to tell you about a few issues: - communication could be better over email. I did not logon onto to VRBO weekly after 1st installment and did not see the 2nd was due. Maybe send reminders over email? - the outside furniture on 2nd floor was very hard - needs thicker cushions - 2 coffee makers would be better - the pool cues do not have felt on the tips

Plenty of beds

The number of bedrooms was great. Would have been nice to have one of the bedrooms have a bathroom attached but we made do sharing the hall bathroom. The basement was great for the kids and the dock looked very nice too (we were winter renters so did not use). The only negatives for us was that for a home that sleeps 20, we would have liked at least one cupboard for food. We had to put everything on the counter and so we didn't have any prep room other than the island and that was also the stovetop so not much to work with. We like to cook and eat in a lot so , for some, this wouldn't have been a problem. There were two large refrigerators and so that was great having two for the drinks and things that need to be refrigerated. One other thing that would have been nice, is to have small garbage cans in the bathrooms and bedrooms. None of them had any and so you had to carry tissues, , wrappers, etc. out to the kitchen garbage. All in all, a great stay :)

Family base for wine tasting

Enjoyed the view of the lake while eating breakfast in the main room downstairs or from the two small balconies. Clean and well laid out house, especially for a large group like ours. Plenty of space and we loved having 4 full baths. The grill was plenty big to feed a large group as well. Two possible improvements include a light over the grill so flashlights are not needed in this time of year and adding an electric griddle to cook pancakes for a large group. Pan cooking bacon and pancakes could be a slow process with just the pans on site. Overall great location and great house.
