Condition was lacking: downstairs bed mattress was caved in on one side, making it very uncomfortable. Veneer coating on downstairs bathtub peeling up. Tiles in kitchen loose. Refrigerator had pool of water standing on top shelf upon our arrival. Later, the "drain line froze" according to the maintenance guy. This we discovered after a full day out, & arrived home to find our fridge at 56 degrees and contents beginning to spoil. We never touched the fridge settings, which had preset marks they were set at. Oddities: Upstairs shower has absolutely no shelf, ledge, or caddy to put shampoo, soap or anything else on. Anything you may want in the shower has to be set on the floor of the shower. Upstairs bathroom (toilet) is so small its like being in a closet claustrophobia inducing. The stingy shampoo and conditioner bottles had the writing faded & partially wiped off, looked really dingy & as if they are being recycled time after time. If you wear white socks on their floors, you will find the bottoms of them get black from the dirty floors. For the price paid, and a name behind it like Thousand Hills, it was really unbelievable how they are so chintzy on small things like how many towels are provided, no dish brush, minimal silverware, micro portions of shampoo / conditioner / bar soap, etc.If it werent for the location we would have stayed elsewhere. They likely know this and figure they are going to get rented either way. This is lowering the bar instead of raising it.
