Enjoy peace and comfort in this impeccably furnished 3 bedroom/2 bath home in Sarasota County, boasting an over-sized, heated pool on a corner lot in a bird sanctuary area. Dream location! Access the home via Nest code rather than exchanging keys.

This home is located walking distance to Oscar Scherer State Park in the sought-after Sorrento East neighborhood. Just 7 minutes to Nokomis Beach, 10 minutes to Casey Key Beach and Venice Beach, less than 20 minutes to Siesta Key and Sarasota. Make a day or evening (or both!) of the luxurious St. Armand's Circle and Lido Key Beach.

This home was hand-selected to provide convenience and comfort for its guests. The master bedroom has a king bed with high-thread count linens with an island-inspired theme, 2 nightstands and lamps, dresser, and step down shower. Step outside the master bedroom directly into the covered patio and pool area via 1 of 3 sets of sliding glass doors that open fully for viewing and enjoying the breeze.

This home has 2 additional queen bedrooms with nightstands and dressers, and a shared bath, attentively planned for comfort and style. The nautical, queen bedroom comes equipped with a 55-inch television and PlayStation gaming system. The beach-y, queen bedroom is like an airy oasis.

Enjoy countless hours of entertainment in the living room with a jumbo leather sectional, chair, and ottoman, and 70-inch television that swings for panoramic viewing and a cabinet filled with games.

Coffee, tea, or company are made even sweeter in the seating area with bucket chairs and also overlooking the expansive patio pool area through the second set of fully opening, sliding glass doors.

The newly renovated kitchen, in addition to all new stainless steel appliances, (including dishwasher) is stocked for all your cooking needs, including coffee maker (Keurig and drip), electric tea kettle, gourmet waffle iron, professional ss cooking ware, full baking set, and Fiestaware plates, bowls, and mugs. The cabinets come stocked with red and white wine glasses, champagne glasses, and bar set for your celebration or evening cocktails. The kitchen includes chef quality pans, knives, and other wares.

Take your meals or other activities in the dining area on the handcrafted 6 seat table, directly accessing the third set of glass patio doors .

Speaking of the pool, this home has a 25,000 gallon 8-foot deep heated pool and comes with weekly pool service and lawn services. Outdoor seating includes a cushioned sectional and Windward 6 person dining table, both situated under commercial grade outdoor fans. Huge Weber gas grill for outdoor use.

Amenities include beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels and toys, beach wagon, coolers, Weber grill, numerous games and books, new washer and dryer, and a covered and screened pool area that will keep you coming back for more.

We loved it here!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The property is clean, well kept, and the furnishings and household items are good quality. It has everything you need (including an amazing pool!) for a Florida beach vacation. Itā€™s a short drive to Sarasota & Siesta Key, and only 10 minutes from Nokomis Beach. Safe neighborhood. Roy was a great host, and Iā€™d highly recommend this property!

Nice house and pool! Excellent location

We had 6 adults (3 couples) and the house fit us nicely. It was clean and had nice appliances. We got to keep our rental minivan in the garage which was a plus. The pool was really nice and larger/deeper than many. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. We went to Nokomis, Venice, and Caspersen beach and found lots of shark's teeth at all of them.

We loved Nokomis!

We just returned from 6 weeks at this house. It was very comfortable, the pool area was awesome, and we had a great time. The house was equipped with everything we could need, and the kitchen supplies were top notchā€”the best weā€™ve ever had! Roy responded to our needs quickly and thoroughly. The location was convenient to shopping and a plethora of restaurants. I would highly recommend this property!

Great place to stay!

We were impressed with the quality of the furnishings and kitchen amenities. There was a cold snap the week before we came and the pool was heated and ready for swimming the day we arrived. Everything was very well taken care of and attended to. Very spacious living room. We enjoyed a lot of time on the large lanai. The owner was quick to respond to a couple question we had. We had a great experience and will be back! Highly recommend!!

Home was comfortable and very clean. Pool was large and warm. We really appreciated this, since the weather was on the cool side several days of our trip. Our only complaint was that several of the window coverings did not operate well and appeared to be broken. Also, the water dispenser on the fridge leaked. These were minor issues. Overall great trip!

perfect family vacation spot

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Roys property. The pictures listed are extremely accurate. The pool area was perfect for our family for swimming and entertaining. We can't say enough good things about the heated pool. The pool is huge and there are plenty of noodles and pool toys which kept our daughter entertained for hours. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house is located in a great, quiet and safe neighborhood. The house is located close to anything you need. Roy was very responsive to any questions that we had before and during our stay.

Beautiful home/wonderful host

Of all the homes we have stayed at in the area, this was by far the best ever. Roy is a wonderful host and very attentive to your needs. Everything need for a wonderful stay is provided. The house was immaculately clean. We visited all the local beaches, kayaked the mangrove tunnels on Lido Key, and canoed the Peace River in Arcadia and spent many hours enjoying the beautiful pool. We enjoyed lots of seafood at all the local restaurants, our favorite being Nokomis Hut. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Roy. Jen & Tom

Wonderful two month stay!

We received a warm telephone greeting as we were traveling to the home from Roy. The House exceeded our expectations especially the lanai and pool area. The pool was heated to 86 degrees. This was especially nice since we were renting Jan & Feb 2023. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We loved how close we were to several beaches, restaurants and bars. We also enjoyed a concert and a play in downtown Venice. Our host, Roy, was very responsive to our questions and requests. I recommend this property!

Great winter break :)

We stayed at the home for a week after Christmas. We planned the trip last minute therefore listings were scarce, but we couldn't have been more lucky to stay at your home. Everything was perfect, as described and accurately pictured. Our kids ages 3, 5 and 9 enjoyed the back yard pool everyday. The home is a short drive to several different beaches, however personally we loved Nokokis beach, especially since we were there on days where the sand was full of shells. We had plenty of towels, beach chairs and loved the beach cart to carry all the stuff we needed for the kids. We would definitely recommend the home to anyone.

Great house near Venice, FL

Great vacation house located near Venice and Sarasota FL. Easy to talk with owner, the house provided extras like detergent, soaps, garbage bags and paper towels - so all the basics were provided. The house was clean and in a good neighborhood. The heated swimming pool was great extra as well. Owner provided beach chairs and towels which we used to go nearby at Nokomis Beach. Many beaches nearby including Siesta Key and Venice Beach. The owner had some great restaurants listed and we also would like to add Dockside Waterfront Grill. All the restaurants we visited had water views and which are so relaxing including above Dockside, Crow's Nest in Venice and Phillippi Creek Restaurant in south Sarasota. We would highly recommend a stay here and would love to come back again. Thank you for a great place to vacation.

AMAZING House

I started looking for a house in Florida for Christmas break in October. I was only willing to stay in a house that had a positive review. Then this house popped up. No review but I loved the location. So glad I went with my gut. We had the BEST time. The house is BEAUTIFUL!!! The pool is HUGE. The kitchen is fully stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. The owner, Roy, was great! He was super attentive and responded to any questions immediately. During the week we went to Nokomis Beach, Venice Beach, and Siesta Key Beach. We loved each beach and they were each just a short drive away. There was a Publix 1 mile away that was great so we could pop in for food for the beach. My kids are begging to go back next year. HIGHLY recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic vacation spot!

Terrific home in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our 11 days here. The large screened-in pool and lanai were amazing! The location is very convenient to activities and beaches. Nokomis beach is close by and was not crowded even over the holiday weekend. It was great to be able to spend a couple hours at the beach and then have the pool to come back to for more swimming in the afternoon or evening. The house was well-stocked with everything one could possibly need, such as cookware and utensils, beach and bath towels, pool toys and floats, beach toys, board games and puzzles, soap, cooler bags, etc. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Would visit here again!

Fantastic Home

The home is as the other reviews stated in a quiet neighborhood with close access to both Venice and Sarasota and not a long drive to 75. The home is updated and the kitchen is well stocked. As others stated the lanai was our favorite area with an outdoor couch, dining table, ceiling fans and a fabulous heated pool that is big and deep enough to do laps. The owner is helpful when needed. We highly recommend this home for your holiday.

Five Stars Plus!!

What can I say that the other reviews have not already mentioned?! They are all spot on. This home is quite simply wonderful. The owners thought of everything for a perfect stay, right down to scented hand soaps at each of the sinks. Everything was as described on-line, and then some. The kitchen is beautiful and stocked with everything you could possibly need/want for cooking. The dishes and glassware are beautiful. To that end, the entire home is very nicely appointed, and everything is very tasteful/ high end. Of course, the pool and lanai are amazing! We spent countless days in the pool and lovely evenings on the lanai in this quiet neighborhood. The area is quite private, as it is lined with foliage on each side and backs up to a small creek with beautiful bamboo behind. The location is ideal; situated between Venice and Sarasota with so many great options for dining within a stone's throw or just a short drive away. Nokomis Beach is wonderful and much less crowded than Siesta Key. If you are a cycling enthusiast (or walker/runner) you will love the accessibility to the Legacy Trail. We biked between 10 and 20 miles regularly without concern of vehicles! You can ride your bike from the house to Oscar Scherer State Park and pay a small fee to access the trail, or drive to one of the many nearby community centers where access is free. All in all, this was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. Thank you, Roy, for taking such good care of your home so that others can also enjoy it!

The whole set up and location of this house was great! Had no issues whatsoever... 1- Location, very assessable to the beaches, shopping, Venice, Sarasota, restaurants and the sights... 2- The place was up to-date, CLEAN... And roomy to move around... 3- Pool was very nice... Great location, comfortable home

Great home in a quiet neighborhood. Well appointed furnishings and property. Pool was nice! Close to beaches and sightseeing. Would do again!

Beautiful, spacious and what an amazing pool!

What a lovely house! We spent a week and were delighted from beginning to end. The pool was our favorite place to hang out, it is one of the biggest private-home pools we have ever enjoyed and we truly loved it. While deep, it was perfect for games, swimming and floating. There were plenty of inflatables available to us. The patio area is gorgeous with a coffee table and sofas where we napped in the afternoons, a large dining table offered a welcoming space for most of our breakfasts as well as afternoon games, puzzles, books and drinks, and there was still plenty of room for yoga mats, all surrounded by trees and even a small bamboo garden. The interior of the house is light and airy and all the areas feel incredibly ample. The living room has plenty of seating for the entire family to watch movies comfortably and the dining room is also ideal. The kitchen is fully equipped with every gadget you can imagine. The owners have really taken care to provide everything one could possibly need. From consumables such as paper towels, bathroom roll, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, specialty hand soaps, hand sanitizers and more, to appliances of every kindā€”very nice coffee maker. For entertainment there are plenty of pool toys, beach chairs, coolers and a beach cart. The selection of pool / beach towels was wonderful. There was absolutely nothing we couldnā€™t find. The house is conveniently located about 7 minutes driving distance from the Nokomis Beach and there are many other beaches a short drive away. The Oscar Scherer Park is a minute from the house and offered a great opportunity for a day of hiking and bird watching. We also visited Venice and went as far as Sarasota and St Pete. The area offers lots to do. The neighborhood is residential, and very pretty. We took daily morning and afternoon walks and enjoyed reading the names of the streets which made us feel as though inside a museum... Monet, Degas, Rubens, Modigliani, Miro and so on. Communication with the owners was impeccable, they were kind and replied promptly to all our inquiries before and during our stay. Needless to say we would love to come back again!

You wonā€™t be disappointed

Awesome pool and patio layout. Spectacular Kitchen! 2nd fridge in garage with commercial washer/dryer. Spacious living room, dining room and bedrooms. Our family had a blast. No joke, we could have skipped the beaches. We used the pool the ENTIRE time besides when we went to the beaches and to a water park. Owner is so easy to contact and super helpful. We needed an additional fan and one was dropped off in seconds. Quiet/friendly neighborhood. Very safe location with quick access 7 min to Nokomis beach and 19 min to siesta key beach. Classy rental. A+++ ratingā€¦
