We take guest feedback seriously and would like to clarify several points to provide a balanced account of this stay. First, our records show that an LARGE , UNDISCLOSED DOG, well above our stated weight limit, was brought onto the property without prior approval or payment of the required pet fee. We reached out through VRBO to resolve this during the stay, but did not receive a response. Additionally, neighbors contacted us regarding multiple vehicles at the home, including one partially blocking a driveway. In response, we visited the property to assess the situation and ensure compliance with house rules, including our no party policy. This was when we discovered that there was a LARGE , UNDISCLOSED DOG that was not paid for at the time of booking. At no time was there any intent to be hostile or threatening. Regarding the property conditions, we strive to maintain the home to a high standard and address issues promptly: The pool is professionally serviced weekly, however, heavy rains during this stay may have caused additional debris to enter the screened enclosure. Guests are always encouraged to notify us so we can arrange an extra cleaning if needed. The home is on a regular pest control schedule. We were not informed of any ant activity during the stay, which can occasionally occur after significant rainfall in Florida. The grill issue was not previously reported; it has since been repaired. The toilet concern was also not reported during the stay and has now been fixed. The HVAC system was scheduled for replacement. This was a holiday weekend. In the interim, brand new window units were installed in every room to ensure guest comfort, and no concerns about temperature were communicated. The HVAC system has since been replaced. We also want to clarify that pricing is clearly outlined at booking, including any applicable fees such as pet fees when disclosed. We have not yet received the required pet fee payment which the guest described as "the price change AFTER booking". We regret that this guest did not reach out during their stay so we could address concerns in real time, as we are always responsive and committed to ensuring a comfortable experience for our guests.

Thank you for your kind review Melissa. Again, I am sorry about the mishap with the pool heater. As I had explained, it was a brand new pool heater and the pool timer settings were wrong. All that has since been corrected and we are sorry for the inconvenience. I’m glad your kids had fun in the pool and that you all enjoyed your stay.
