Beach Front 3BR/2BA Condo, Sleeps 8, Unit 410 in Exclusive Sand Dollar Resort

Introducing Captain's Quarters: A Gulf Front, 4th floor, large 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Condo directly on the white sand beaches at Sand Dollar Resort Condominiums. Seven night minimum rental, Sunday to Sunday is preferred but not mandatory. If less than a seven night rental is desired, please contact me if we can accommodate your request. The condo sleeps 8, updated and tastefully decorated 1470Sq ft of living space, including a large balcony facing the Gulf Coast for beautiful sunsets. The full size kitchen, dinning, living and laundry room are very spacious, not the typical condo size. Master bedroom has a King size bed, Balcony access, gulf view, ceiling fan, 32"HD Flat screen TV and large walk in closet that connects to the Master bath. Master bathroom has dual vanity sinks, walk in shower and toilet. 2nd Bedroom has two queen size beds, ceiling fan and large closet. 3rd Bedroom has a single queen size bed and large closet and a floor fan. All bedrooms have 24"HD flat screen TV's with Spectrum cable and free HBO. Hi speed wifi is included. Living room has comfortable seating, ceiling fan and a large 42"HD Flat screen TV with a Blue Ray/DVD player & Roku streaming device. Dinning Room has a large table that seats 6 and lighted bar. Kitchen counter provides four additional bar stool seats. Kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator(ice maker), full size oven/range, over the range microwave and dishwasher. Kitchen is fully stocked including a coffee maker, Keurig, blender, MP3/CD player. 2nd Bathroom has dual vanity sinks, tub/shower and toilet. Full size laundry room provides storage and a full size washer and dryer. Sand Dollar Condominiums provides a heated(all year) salt water pool, hot tub, private fishing pier, 6 tiki huts and cooking grills, all directly on the beach. Beautiful tropical landscaping adds to the beauty of the beach and gulf views. Included with your rental: all linens, towels, pack & play with sheets, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas & toys. Sand Dollar is conveniently located to many restaurants, bars, shops and local attractions. Only 30 minutes from Tampa airports, 60 minutes from Bush Gardens and 90 minutes from Disney and Orlando. So please come be our guests and experience the hospitality of our Captain's Quarters.

The condo is amazing! If you are looking to go to this area, stay here! It was larger than it looked in the pictures, the heated pool was divine and I couldn’t have asked for better communication when I checked in late.

Communication was consistent and responsiveness timely. The condominium met all expectations and was clean and well organized upon arrival. It easily accommodated our party of 6. Well stocked with everything needed for a stay at the beach. The kitchen had all necessary appliances and cooking utensils.
This is the view we had for a week. The captain chairs on the balcony were a bonus and treat.

Beach view from balcony was great. We loved the pool and large hot tub. Beach access was easy. Condo was wonderful. Kitchen well equipped. Large laundry room. Bar area with small drink fridge. Beds were comfortable. Host always responded to texts or emails. Small touches such as light switches labeled, rechargeable flashlight, night lights. Was also nice having staff in building for any issues or questions. Bonus was we watched a guy fishing on the beach catch an almost 5' shark from our balcony one morning!

Captain’s Quarters was a great unit and was perfect for my family’s vacation. Overall, the condominiums were run very effectively and efficiently. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative at checkin and checkout. The pool and spa area was very nice, well-kept, and not over-crowded. And, of course, being right on the white sand beach is always a plus and makes this condo simply amazing. This particular unit had a great view of the beach and ocean from the balcony and made a great place for watching sunsets. My family also had the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including many dolphins and even a couple of manatees. And although the pier was closed at our time of stay, the fishing off the beach was still very good, as we caught many fish.Overall, Sand Dollar Condominiums (Captain’s Quarters) was an excellent experience and we would 100% return in the future if we have the opportunity.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this condo! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless — it’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, and it made us feel immediately comfortable and at home.The condo itself was spacious and well laid out, giving our group plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded. The furnishings were modern and cozy, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals during our stay.The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk or drive to local restaurants, shops, and attractions, yet quiet enough for peaceful evenings.A special shout-out to the property manager, who was responsive, friendly, and helpful every step of the way. Communication was smooth, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and conveniently located rental with excellent management!

This condo has everything you need for a great family vacation! The only thing we wish could be improved is the elevator! It's super slow and there is only one for the whole building. So bring your patience when using the elevator.

Lovely visit, the condo was perfect for our group. The beach was never crowded and the private pier was a plus. Loved sitting on the balcony to drink our coffee, people watch and we had an awesome view of the gulf sunsets. Short distance to everything we wanted to do. We definitely want to come back. We had to cut our stay short because of Helene. This was the only downside of our trip and no human had any control over that!

Perfect

Perfect location and everything you need! We took our adult children, their spouses, and our 2 small grandkids. We had plenty of room in the condo. We flew down so we couldn’t take beach toys, beach chairs, etc. The condo had all of that and more! This condo will always be our “go to” for big family vacations from now on!

Fantastic beach and pool access

This private beach was great. We loved the pier that was only for sand dollar guests. It was great shade and the kids played in the sand for hours. Room 410 was more than we could have ever imagined. Anything you could possibly need was there. From beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, beach towels, floats. Kitchen appliances, kuering, coffee maker, blender, wine cooler, table top ice maker which my kids loved for eating the ice. Games, dvd’s, movies just everything. Thanks to the owners for a fantastic week. First time flying for me, my husband, and daughter and we could have just came with clothes and toiletries and been just fine for the week.

The condo was ok, but we won't return to Indian Shores beach.

PROS: The condo is very spacious and nicely decorated. The A/C is amazing! It keeps the entire condo very comfortable. The small fridge is a huge plus. The view from the balcony is beautiful, and there's a variety of seating choices. The location is good with a lot of restaurants, etc. nearby, including John's Pass. Parking in the lot was never an issue. Checking in/out was a breeze. CONS: The rug in the living room was dirty. The underside of the kitchen faucet sprayer had dried food plastered all over it. The coffee maker water reservoir was absolutely disgusting. The dishes smelled like "wet dog", and the pot I used for boiling pasta looked like it wasn't washed after the last use. We decided to run a load in the dishwasher before using anything else. There were no batteries in the master bedroom remote. The bed pillows are like pancakes and very uncomfortable. The water pressure in the master shower is really bad. My daughters said their shower was lacking pressure too. The buzzer on the dryer doesn't turn off (at least we couldn't find a way), so we had to stay in the condo while using it so it didn't continue to go off every 5-10(?) minutes. There's only one elevator and it's very slow and gets pretty congested making for long wait times. The beach is kind of a mess, and the sand is hard and compacted because it doesn't get raked. No go for me. We won't be returning. FAVORITE RESTAURANTS: Frog Pond. Kenny's Korner. Mama's Kitchen. Angry Pepper. Caddy's.

Great stay!!

My family had a wonderful stay in at the Sand Dollar! The beverage fridge use very useful!! Bedrooms were roomy with plenty of drawer space. Would definitely return!! The ladies at the front desk were a pleasure to work with and very helpful!!

A relaxing beautiful vacation

This is our third time returning to Indian Shores. This area is outstanding. This was our first time staying at the Sand Dollar at the captains quarters and we enjoyed it. The condo unit was clean and well kept. It was fully stocked. We enjoyed that it had beach towels for us to use chairs and beach umbrellas. The kitchen was well stocked. There was even board games for the kids. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. Our flight landed about six hours before check-in and they allowed us to come early to use the pool and even gave us towels to use until our check-in time. The process was easy from booking to arriving and then departing. The pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. It was nice to have the private pier as well. We were also able to see dolphins in the morning right off from our balcony. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a very memorable stay.

Perfect getaway

Everything from the amenties in the condo to the proximity to the beach and pool was ideal for our family who includes a disabled child. We loved it so much that we booked again for next year. Unfortunately we had to pick a new unit since this one was already taken (over a year in advance). That has to say something.

Perfect condo on the gulf

Great location with a very well-stocked kitchen. Clear, detailed instructions were sent well ahead of time which made the check-in process seamless. The weather was a bit on the cooler side but the heated pool and hot tub were at the right temperatures. Would definitely consider staying again!
