Our home, located on Siesta Key, with breathtaking intercostal water views is fully furnished with all the amenities you would expect just as in your home. After spending a day relaxing at the world famous Siesta Key Beach with quartz-crystal sand as white and soft as powdered sugar, come back home and enjoy the evening relaxing on one of our 3 lanai’s as the boats sail by.

As travelers ourselves, we take considerable notice on the cleanliness of any place we stay. For this reason, we take pride and make every effort to assure our guests that they will be very impressed with the cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting of our townhome. In addition to the cleaning, we have furnished our unit with very high quality furnishings that you are sure to appreciate.

At Bay Oaks, you can enjoy the beautiful pool beyond the courtyard or just relax and enjoy the intercostal view on one of the many benches as boats sail by at the back of the property. If you enjoy tennis, please don't forget to pack your rackets as you can access the courts at the entrance to Bay Oaks. There are also BBQ grills by the bay for your enjoyment.

- The main “public access” parking lot is a very short 1-2-minute drive from our unit. You can either take a “free” taxi or the Trolly Service directly from the front of our complex or use your own vehicle. You would simply make a right upon exiting the parking lot at bay Oaks and head north for about 1/3 mile or two traffic lights and the main entrance is on your left side.

Beach Access:

Walking option- the closest walking access to our unit is “Beach Access 12” which is located 0.7 miles south on Midnight Pass Rd.. It is approximately an 8-10 min walk.

If you prefer not to walk, the trolly and taxi service is free on the Island. The trolly runs very often (usually every 10 min.) and stops right next to our complex entrance.

The main public beach (Siesta Key Beach) is approximately 1/2 mile (2 traffic lights) heading north on Midnight Pass Rd.

The condo had everything we needed…beach towels, chairs, umbrella, ice chest and plenty of kitchen utensils and pans if you want to cook. Owner was great with correspondence when we messaged him. The unit was nice, big and right on the waterway which I liked.

Siesta Key stay

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-appointed unit. We especially loved our view from the lanai and balcony! The owner was great with communication and easy to work with.

Gorgeous beach

Good location. Just be mindful that you will either need to catch a trolley or drive to the main beach as you cannot cut through the adjacent beachfront properties. We really enjoyed the screened lanai with views of the bay. Tons of boats and wildlife going by. Well-appointed property.

Thanks for the awesome review Lisa! During peak season, it’s not always guaranteed to have access across the street to the beach however off season it usually is a breeze. And yes, the free trolly in front of our property or a car ride is only 2 min to the main beach access. Thanks again and hope to see you soon.

Siesta Key on the Waterway

The hosts were very responsive and prompt and provided guests with comprehensive instructions and tips for the area. Our unit was as advertised, modern and clean. We enjoyed the pool area and waterfront, especially dolphin sightings and watching the variety of boats going by. The unit was well laid out for our family, with separate bathrooms for each bedroom.

Not quite what you think

The biggest problem was in the description was it claimed to be "3 minutes from the beach". My fault for assuming that it is 3 minute DRIVE! We spoke with many people on the property and they all thought it was walking not driving. Driving and PARKING in Siesta Key is not pleasant so trying to get to the beach just for a sunset is an ordeal. We really felt misled and disappointed regarding that detail. And the property needs to be freshened up and a deep cleaning. I left a note regarding all the cleaning that is needed so I don't need to list it here! The Pool is OK but kind of poorly designed and is in the shade a lot. Just do your research and get a property on the ocean side of Siesta Key if you want to walk to the beach. Very crowded and not very relaxing unless you are in the condo:(

Hi Catherine, I have to say I’m very disappointed in reading your review as it is also VERY misleading. I invite anyone reading your review to go to our listing description and see the “beach access” is in no way misleading. It is a 2-3 min drive to the main beach access or an 8-10 min walk. Also, beach front properties in February will cost 2x more than what you paid for our unit. As for traffic and parking, you came at the busiest month of the year in Siesta Key. With regards to the cleaning, I spoke with the cleaners and they assured me that they spent 4+ hrs cleaning after that mornings checkout. With regards to the “pool design”, pictures don’t lie and you saw the pictures before you booked our unit. I invite any potential renters to please read our other reviews and rest assured you will enjoy your stay.

Well Maintained Property Overlooking Inlet Across From The Beach

The property was very clean and well maintained. Lou, the property owner was very helpful to us when our trip was delayed by a day with a cancelled flight and in giving tips on getting over to the beach by the property. If you love to fish, you will enjoy the property’s private pier Inlet that the unit overlooks. There were always people on iit enjoying themselves. We were there at a very busy spring break time and avoided downtown Siesta Key like the plague after driving to in our first night. We went to Sarasota instead -only 15 minutes away and had a wonderful dinner./walked around. Siesta Key Beach is just superb but it is across the street from the unit with limited public access points that were crowded with people /cars and took longer than it would normally take to get to but keep in mind we were there during a peak week. We managed to cut through some of the private properties to the beach right by the property where there was still plenty of room On the beach to not feel like a sardine. However, it was still not direct access and we are beach people but we certainly knew that before we booked. If one wasn’t going at a prime time, i am sure that the Siesta Key public access sites would have been as easy as described and accessible. We did see the free trolley that went along the shore road. However, there are tons of beaches in the area and the unit and our trip was great overall.

Great location but never had to buy my own soap and tissue before

Nice location but need to drive to villages and beach. Would be great if soap for sinks and more laundry supplies were supplied.

Danielle was an ok guest but had the impression that this Airbnb was like a hotel where you can call room service to deliver more toilet paper and paper towels. Also, she did leave the place in some disarray according to our cleaners. I would opt out in renting to her in the future.

lovely place. Well designed

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very nice and beautifully decorated. I was a little sad it didn’t seem overly walkable. I ran each morning and the sidewalks in Siesta Key were SUPER crowded; as were the roads. This isn’t the house’s fault though. The drive to Siesta Key beach should have been easy but their was so much traffic, even when we left at 9AM, it took several minutes to just turn RIGHT on to Midnight pass road. Still, once parked at the beach, we all said wow when we stepped on the super nice white sand. Overall, it was nice and we loved the tennis court.

Siesta Key condo

The location of the condo was excellent The view from the living area and deck was spectacular watching every kind of boat from canoes to million dollar yachts. Sailing by.The pool and common area was great for cookouts The pier was great for fishing and hanging out. Siesta key beach is truly the best. Guest should check out the Sunday drum circle at sunset on the beach. Would highly recommend this location and condo to anyone

Beautiful View!

This was our first time staying on Siesta Key as a family. We really enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the lanai after a day at the beach was so relaxing (watching the boats go by on the InterCoastal). The unit was very clean and we felt safe during Covid. Plenty of room for our family of 4! We were a 10-15 minute walk from restaurants and the ice cream shop at Captain Kurts Village and just a short drive to the Village. Kids loved the pool and the beaches are amazing! Lou, the owner, was amazing and so easy to deal with. We would recommend this 2-story condo! Thanks Lou!
