Location:
Private home located in a smaller, very private community. You are just over 30 minutes to downtown Asheville, and under 15 minutes to both Mars Hill & downtown Marshall. You are also app. 45 minutes from the Asheville Regional Airport. Home is accessed via only paved and fully maintained roads right up to the development entrance, then it becomes a gravel access road within development.

The home affords year round access, including skiing at nearby Wolf Laurel, and is great for groups of any and all ages. The home is situated just outside of Mars Hill, NC, affording privacy for everyone to relax & enjoy the feel of the WNC mountains.

With soaring vistas, high ceilings, vaulted rooms, and cozy spaces, you will immediately feel at home at Bearfeet Retreat. But, if you need some “alone time”, there is plenty of space inside and out to find your own serenity. There are 4 outside porches, decks, patios plus a hot tub for ultimate outdoor relaxation.

While at Bearfeet Retreat, everyone enjoys all that the home has to offer; from the Great Room, large kitchen, and of course the decks & cozy screened porch, where you can pull up a chair and take in the "sound of silence", observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard.

Yonder openly shares our Cleaning Fees in a manner of full disclosure, as we think this is the most honest and forthright approach with respect to our guests. Our Cleaning Fees are backed by our Clean Guarantee, which reflects the highest level of standards, pristine environments for our guests, and a level of clean that surpasses any other vacation homes; we literally guarantee it!

No Security Deposit / Guests are responsible for damages.

Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including a clear photo of a government-issued ID and a selfie photo of the primary guest holding that ID next to their face (ID must match the reservation name), as well as a photo of the payment method in the primary guest's name. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
