From the moment you arrive and lay eyes on the soaring 100-foot cedar pine that welcomes you to this newly constructed, large 5x4 luxury home, you will sense the abundant peace and tranquility afforded by this unique forest setting. The "Cedar Pine House" is situated on a private road and gently sloping lot backing up to thousands of acres of Tahoe National Forest making you instantly feel at one with the wilderness. Trailheads await out the back yard leading to spectacular lake vistas as well as a short walk to North Tahoe Regional Park - complete with tennis, new pickleball courts, soccer, treetops ropes course and zip lines, disc golf, fitness parcourse, and play structures – all tucked back in the forest out of sight and earshot of Cedar Pine House. In the winter, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling beckon.

The Cedar Pine House, designed especially for vacationing families and friends, includes 20’ vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, 3 fireplaces, beautifully appointed chef’s kitchen, 75” and 60” communal Smart TVs plus 3 bedroom Smart TVs, immense back deck with oversized hot tub (seats 8), pool table, corn hole court, large boot dryer, 2 washers/dryers, and plenty of beds to sleep 13. A garage (one spot guaranteed) and long driveway provide ample parking.

Beyond the on-site amenities and tranquil setting, what makes this property special is its convenient location 3 minutes to beautiful Lake Tahoe and its beaches, local boat ramp, Garwoods and lakefront restaurants and boutique shopping. Highly amenitized skiing at NorthStar Resort is only a 15-minute drive with world famous Palisades Tahoe a 25-minute ride. This central North Tahoe location provides easy access to Tahoe City, Truckee, and Incline Village and its casinos making sure guests can take advantage of the best of the lake and mountains all while having the utmost privacy and seclusion afforded from a new luxury vacation home located amongst the cedar pines.

Please note that a 4-wheel drive vehicle with good tread is required during the snow season from November to April. The neighborhood access road from the main highway is difficult to ascend when covered with snow or ice if one's vehicle is not a 4WD.

This house was absolutely perfect for our holiday vacation. The location is amazing. Close to groceries, ski rentals, shops & restaurants. A short drive to Northstar Resort. We easily fit 9 adults comfortably. The house itself is impeccable. Quiet neighborhood, extremely clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views of the forest. Well-appointed. Cozy.

Wonderful house!

We loved our stay in this house. It fit our group of 12 perfectly. We loved the location close to hikes, the park, and the water. Everything was lovely. Only suggestion to improve the place would be a tv in the master.

One of my favorites ever!

I can’t emphasize how nice this place is. The living room is much bigger than the photos on the site. Very modern and new furnishings and the place is immaculate. Would highly recommend this place!

This property was amazing!! The weather was not as expected but the coziness of the house and the amenities and location made the experience. The cleanliness of the property was wonderful. Communication was prompt and through and Molly was helpful during the checkin and helping us out when needed. We can’t wait to come back!

Girls Getaway

We absolutely loved this property. The house was beautiful, clean and well stocked. It was in a very central location for all the places around this part of Tahoe. Josh and Brett made our stay even better with their kindness & suggestions on additional places to see and go. Would highly recommend this property for your next stay in Northern Lake Tahoe!

This place is a stunner!

Absolutely gorgeous home. Perfectly stocked with extra towels sheets pillows blankets all the things. Only thing they could add would be a few small pots (there was only one). Hot tub was the biggest I’ve ever been in! Beds, soooo comfy. I probably took more pictures of the house than I did of our family lol

Awesome house

This house is stunning. From the moment we checked in and were greeted by a concierge we knew this was the house to stay. Pool table, hot tub and full equipped kitchen this house is great for large groups. All the bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are spacious.

Perfect weekend getaway

We had a great time celebrating my birthday with friends here! Everyone that stayed here said it was one of the nicest places they had stayed in Tahoe. It was beautifully decorated, all of the beds were super comfortable and the house was so well equipped with plenty of towels and kitchen supplies which I feel are often lacking in rentals. We all had AWD cars so had no issues with driving through the neighborhood. We’d definitely stay here again in the future.

Absolutely incredible

This property is truly incredible. The location is amazing, backing up to a beautiful forest, with wonderful views from the balconies. The house is new and beautifully appointed, with very high end finishes and very tasteful decorations. We were ten in our group, including children, and we were very comfortable and had a great time. I would recommend this property without any reservations, and hope to be back soon.

Amazing stay!

We stayed here for an entire weekend with family and it was hard to leave the cabin! We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived to a spotless cabin with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of amenities for us to enjoy. The jacuzzi was a hit with everyone and we spent hours playing billiards. The lake was within walking distance if you enjoy longer walks and Safeway is just a few minutes away if you need to run the store for anything. The manager, Josh, was very kind and responded quickly to any needs we had. Check in/ out was a breeze which is always a plus! Would highly recommend this cabin and would love to return someday!

Dream rental /stay

My family has been going to Lake Tahoe for over 15 years and we have never stayed in such a lovely home like this. Once I found this property on vrbo I was in love . It’s a house my family has always wanted! We arrived and it was all we could ever imagine! Everything from the size and layout , the decor/ style of the house. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and playing pool. The kitchen was equipped with enough utensils/ serving platers ect for a large family. We look forward to staying here again.

Tahoe Vista

This is a beautiful home and easily accommodated ten of us (adults and children.) Property manager Josh Romero was great to deal with. The location is nicely situated for access to beaches, trails and restaurants. To me there were only two downsides: the next door neighbors have two dogs that they keep on their porch during the day end evening, and they bark a lot. The other downside is no central air conditioning. The day we checked in, it was 90 degrees outside, and the interior was warm as the house cleaners opened all the windows. The trick to cooling the house is to leave the windows open at night to cool it down, and then close them during daytime and pull the shades. This worked well for us.

Girls Weekend!

We had the best time on our girls weekend. There was a group of 10 of us, and it is hard to find a house where everyone has a bed, and there is ample space! This house did not let us down! The space was exactly as advertised and we all had a fabulous time. We made breakfast and dinner at the house and never once ran out of plates, cups or silverware. (Impressive!) The locational is perfect as well. There are hiking trails right out the back door, which was fabulous for our group as everyone really loves hiking. We also made it out to Tahoe city and Kings Beach and felt like this was centrally located to all of the things we did that weekend. The property manager Josh was very responsive during our stay. If we had any questions, he answered them right away, which was really nice. During the booking process, Kyle was fabulous to work with as well. Highly recommend this for your next stay! Can’t wait to bring my family back on our next stay in Tahoe!!

The perfect vacation rental

First, I'd like to thank our Host Kyle and his property manager Josh for promptly answering all our questions during the early planning stages of your vacation and throughout our stay. Their customer service is top notch, thank you! From the moment you drive up the long driveway, which fit all our vehicles, to entering the front door, you're wow'd by stunning architecture, gorgeous views and a comfortable warmth of home. This beautiful vacation home had absolutely everything our large family needed. From the well appointed chef's kitchen, (we love to cook) a dinner table and island that accommodated all of us, to the expansive great room, this home has it all! As far as bedrooms go, they were all appointed with comfortable luxurious mattresses, pillows and linens. Leading out from the down stairs game room you'll find a mountain of snow to explore. Just a short walk through the trees you'll find a sledding hill that all ages will enjoy, it was a blast! We've rented many vacation rentals in Tahoe over the years and this one is at the top of our list. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We can't wait to rent it again! Doug

Excellent Property for Multiple Families

Our stay at this property was excellent. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room to spread out but also spend lots of quality time together. We were there in one of the worst snow storms I've ever experienced and were perfectly comfortable and happy spending time in the hot tub, sledding down the streets right outside the house and having snowball fights. The house itself is beautiful and well appointed. Beds and linens were comfortable and there was nothing we wanted or needed that wasn't available to us. The downstairs area was perfect for the kids to have their own space while the adults spent time upstairs. It was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The house also comes with a concierge service who were wonderful. They set up car services, ski lessons and more. The owner even offered to come pick us up himself when our non 4WD car wouldn't make it to our destination. You definitely need 4WD or chains in heavy snow to get up and down the driveway and some of the streets in the neighborhood. But all the better for sledding down! We hope to have an opportunity to rent this gem again! Thank you for our stay!

Best Tahoe Stay!

It was my first time in Tahoe and I can't wait to go back. This home is beautiful and well designed. My large group of friends and I enjoyed it! It is located near plenty of restaurants, grocery store and the lake. The house manager was super helpful and accommodating. I honestly cannot wait to go back! Thank you for this great experience.

Tahoe Trip

Our stay was excellent. Nice bedrooms and baths. Kitchen had everything we needed to do dinners in if that’s your sort of thing. We are out a couple of night but finding reservations 13 isn’t always easy. The grill and hot tub were used daily. I would highly recommend this property to an adult group.

5 star accommodations!

Every summer our extended family finds a location somewhere in the lower 48 for a week-long vacation. We have stayed in places all over the US going on 18 years, now. Our say in Lake Tahoe was the best of the best. The house is conveniently located on the north shore to all necessities (grocery, gas, beach, ice cream!) but yet it backs up against open space where there is a trailhead for hiking and mountain biking. The kitchen is perfectly supplied and worked great for our family of 11. The beds were comfortable, the deck spacious, and the house was big enough for us all to not be on top of each other. Communication with the property manager (thanks, Josh!) was flawless. We couldn't have had a better time!

Gorgeous, Family Friendly, Tahoe Vista Home

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated, chic and cozy Tahoe home. Impeccably clean, spacious, and family friendly. Location is great too for hiking, biking, lakeside and zip lining. The property manager was very helpful with coordinating activities and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful in every way

Everything about this beautiful home was perfect for our family vacation of 6 adults & 5 children ages 8-15. It is spacious and ideally located. No one wanted to leave the back deck which looks right into the forest. Josh, the manager, was always available to answer any questions. The children loved the hot tub, pool table & ping pong table. It was a bonus to have a table large enough (seats 12) so that we could eat all our meals together. I have nothing negative to say about this rental.

I recently stayed at the Tahoe vista with some friends for a short weekend vacation. The home was incredible, private, with a wide open backyard that provided an authentic Tahoe cabin experience. Definitely take the bear precautions seriously, as we saw 3 black bears, all on separate occasions, on the property. The overall service of the place was great! Josh (the cabin host) is very responsive, and puts in the extra effort to ensure his guests have a comfortable stay. Overall 5 stars easy.

Exceeded expectations!

Not only is this home beautifully-appointed, it has extras that made our first week ever at Lake Tahoe so convenient and fun. The kitchen has everything you’d need to cook and serve a large group, and the games and puzzles added to our enjoyment of our downtime. The property manager was so very attentive, too. We were visiting at a time when it was exceptionally warm in the evenings, and Josh dropped off portable AC units that cooled the interiors just fine. We’d definitely stay again when we return to Tahoe! Fun extra— Tree Tops Adventures at Tahoe Vista is a short hike down the path at the end of street. We really enjoyed the zipline/ropes course one morning.
