I’m sorry that you found the house to not be very clean & what things were broken? Unfortunately by the end of the season things do happen. Did you call the office to report those things? We would have sent the cleaners back & repaired what we could.

Thank you so much for the great review. We are sorry about the internet issue. We discovered it was out and contacted the owner. She immediately let us know what to do and your agent tried to reach out to you several times not know that we didn't have a good number for you here at the beach. Our apologies for that but happy that it didn't end up being a huge issue for you after all. Grass is cut on a regular basis, however, depending on how much rain we get that can be an issue from time to time. We are happy you enjoyed the house and the pool and hope you will come back again,

Thank you for reviewing this property. Yes.... it is a little out of the way of the hustle & bustle, but certain a very short drive. Private pools are not the norm in this area. We hope you will return in the future.

The property is well maintained and loved by 100s of guests. Many return—10 years in one case! This hatchet job is mostly false or exaggerated. 1st example. Lisa was never told the house is cleaned only in the beginning of the summer. Absurd. We spend $300 weekly for our cleaning service and review agent, who comes back if asked. The owner went and saw a few things they’d missed, but it was the TENANT’s clutter that prevented him from cleaning. Tenant entered early without even checking in. My reviewing agent heard kids fighting over the bunk beds (neither dangerous or broken—the guardrails are supposed to move, but do stop you from falling off!) Outdoor furniture is mostly new Polywood and not dangerous—instead, 1 rope on 1 swing was visibly loose. Just ask—we get things fixed or replaced ASAP. The new bench cushion we sent? Never even opened, so clearly not as important as claimed. The BACK of SOME furniture (see her pictures) were dirty due to the recent storms (search tornado, Dover). The sunroom door/screen can come off the rails. But it’s useable (pull and lift per the sign). And the other door is on the other side of that ROOM, not the house! Lisa hated the sofa bed mattress she slept on and couldn’t find the topper (so we sent another), so now they’re all old” and “grungy”? Even the cleaning co. owner wrote, “They just complain because they want everything for free. Give them 1 star. They were rude to my cleaners and they left a mess”. Beware this person, hosts!

Thank you for reviewing this property. We apologize for the inconvenience of the AC guy. Previous tenant said they were having issues with the AC unit which seemed to resolve itself during their stay. The owner did contact us to let us (Crowley Assoc.) know that they just wanted the AC company check the system so you didn't have any issues during your stay. Our summers are very busy. As the rental mamager for Crowley Associates, I manage the VRBO site as a courtesy for the owner & maintanance issues. I neglected to inform your agent of the pending visit from AC company. Again.... We apologize for the inconvience.
