The perfect cottage getaway situated in Bayfield prime location.


With the beach right out the front door, literally across the street, a 5 minute walk to downtown with local restaurants and shops.Cottage has ample parking ! out door shower, fire pit, wood is provided, all beddings white linen and towels provided, kitchen, bbq , TV ,wifi living space is open concept winterized open All Seasons personal note all the details provided to my guests are done by myself, linens and all, to ensure my guests are treated special and feel at home during there stay ! if one would like groceries provided, beverages alcohol non alcohol , with a fee for travel, guests provide a list, pay for the items ,

This location is perfect.

College Friend Get-away

An old college friend and I who both love the Great Lakes were looking for a little town on a lake, and found Bayfield. We also found this lovely cottage! It was updated, clean, sweetly decorated, and very clean. We hope to come back every year! Wonderful place. Tanja was very responsive and kind! A superhost, for sure.

Lovely Cottage in the Heart of Bayfield!

Beautifully charming, updated property with everything needed inside and out to feel at home during your stay. Comfortable furnishings throughout and such lovely decor. Amazing outdoor shower and a great fire pit too! Very close walk to the public beach, and a short walk to downtown for dining and shopping. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again!

Charming from start to finish!

Tanja’s space is simply wonderful! Clean, cozy, well located, and so darn cute! The host did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible for our group of 6 adults and a baby boy. This rental is located at a 20 mins drive from Grand Bend, a 8 mins walk from Bayfield main street and Marina and steps away from the lake. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing Family Long Weekend

Stunning renovated cottage. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed the beautiful front yard every day, especially the cozy hammock. The outdoor shower was an added bonus after coming up from the beach. Walking distance to everything. Tanja was a wonderful host. She made our vacation very enjoyable.

Perfect for small families and couples

As described, easy access to beach and minutes from downtown district. Host did a wonderful job preparing the cottage for our arrival and kindly messaged us to see if our stay was going well. Newly renovated cottage with everything you need for small families or couples. The outdoor shower was a bonus we didn’t expect! We would certainly recommend and perhaps go back again.

Great holiday in Bayfield!

Super cute cottage in a nice, quiet neighbourhood. Spotlessly clean and with everything you would need for a short or long stay. Short walk to the downtown and to Pioneer Park to watch some beautiful sunsets. We really enjoyed the town and had two great meals on the patio at the Black Dog Pub. Great hiking in some near parks (Point Farms Provincial Park, Naftel Creek and Bannockburn Conservation Areas). Thanks very much, Tanja, we had a great stay and really appreciate your hospitality!

Clean quaint cottage

I loved this place. I’ve stayed here twice. It is very clean and the host has made it comfortable by adding thoughtful details. There is an outdoor shower which is great when returning from beach. The beds are comfortable with great linens. Highly recommend.

My Second Stay

This was my second stay at this quaint cottage. Just as clean as the first time and love how responsive Tanja is. Really appreciated all of the extras too! Thanks again Tanja for a wonderful stay!

The Host Is Unreasonable and ready to take advantage of her guests.

I had a wonderful time in bay-field, the atmosphere was peaceful and full of nature... That being said the host decided to add an additional 500$ Charge for a plastic lawn chair that broke, and the towel hanger fell when a towel was hanging on it. That being said the house was very fragile yet cozy. The host was being unreasonable and just wanted more money in her pocket! I will never go back to this house, do not go here for a vacation because the host has a beyond reasonable expectation for when she rents out her residence to strangers.

Soooo clean!

I almost don’t want to review this great find because I’d like to keep the bookings to myself! Tanja’s rental is, most importantly, SPOTLESS! Decor is simple and very calming. Downtown Bayfield and the lake are literally steps away. The neighbourhood is very quiet. Tanja was very pleasant and responded immediately to any questions. All of the goodies she left and the outdoor shower we’re just the icing on the cake. Will be back for sure! Thanks Tanja!

the Cottage, the location, is prime, for the beach, town, Marina, myself, taking the role of making sure my guests, receive nothing short of the best, I pay attention to detailing !, the Beddings and Linens are White, ironed by myself, communication is key, I am always Happy to help !, I pay attention, to each guest and there needs , not as though they are just a guest, its important, they feel like home, and welcome , valued, I take great pride in all detail, for many memories, its my pride and joy, making people Happy! most of All we hope you enjoy your stay, I am grateful, to have the opportunity to open up my Cottage to the beautiful guests
