Went with family for the holidays and it was beyond what I expected. Margaret was communicative beforehand to set us up for success for our trip. The house has soo much to offer! Beds, pillows and bedding was very comforable. Bathrooms were soo nice. The house was spotless. Loved all the extras, likes a stocked kitched and then some, extra bedding, blanets, laundry, hot tub, fire pit, the florida room, I could go on and on! Everyone had a great, relaxing, fun, and delicious Thanksgiving. So thankful to Margaret and all the hard work she has put into her home, with her communication, and allowing us to stay to start new family traditions.

House is very clean, cozy and updated with lots of attention to detail in the decorating and season (had mums and several pumpkins with sweet Fall decor inside too)! Simply beautiful. Kitchen had everything you would need. Owners are great to work with! The back porch is so nice. We enjoyed the fire pit. Went to Kayuka Spring Vinyards and it was stunning with great views too. We were in town for the Wine Glass Marathon in Corning.

There were many pluses with this property. It was tastefully decorated, wonderfully stocked, and VERY clean. The house had so much appeal. There was a beautiful view, a morning room that was nice in the morning to wake up with a cup of coffee. The lower level had well stocked games, with a TV and couch if you wanted to hang out there. Outside patio was terrific. The fire pit area, the bar area and an area with couch and chairs: an area to hang with everyone. The host was great, always got back to me quickly with the few issues we had. She also suggested a few restaurants and ice cream places in the area which was great. Now for the cons. It isn’t listed in the description, but the land is on a slope. You can’t even use the backyard. The front yard only has one area that is flat. it was disappointing to not have flat land. My grandkids and sons brought bikes to ride around, but couldn’t because the whole driveway, which is very long, is all stone. So again that was disappointing and I wish it was in the property description. The other thing that also was frustrating was in the downstairs bedrooms, the blinds were not blackout blinds. All night long we had light in our room due to the garage light always being on. This was also the case in the side bedroom. They got bright light all night long from the motion detector on the patio right outside their window. They finally had to put a blanket over their window so they could sleep. Even with everything we would rent again

The house was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect getaway to celebrate my sisters birthday. Margaret was a great owner and very attentive before and during our stay. She even gave me recommendations for the things I said we were interested in doing while we were there. I highly recommend this home.

Family time in a great location

The house was great and had everything we needed for the week. Super clean, with plenty of room to spread out, but cozy spaces to enjoy as well. We like to cook together and found the kitchen well stocked. And the location was very convenient for groceries, gasoline and as a starting point for day trips.

Amazing weekend away with girlfriends

Great spot. Took six girl friends for a mom’s weekend off. This house has everything and more! Fire pit, hot tub, deck with amazing views, games and everything you could want in a kitchen. We had coffee and wine on repeat. Would be a great spot in warm months but we enjoyed toasty fireplaces and several sitting areas to hang out and unwind. Did wine tour of the lake and was gorgeous. Margaret was responsive and wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent Finger Lakes House

Our family group of 7 adults had a wonderful weekend at Margaret’s beautifully decorated, spotless house. The beds were comfortable. There were lots of comfortable places to sit and hang out including really nice outdoor areas. Communication with Margaret was perfect.

Everything was perfect!

We stayed here for my son’s wedding at a nearby venue. The house was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone plus our two dogs. The lower deck was amazing. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Margaret was so helpful and accommodating. She helped make our stay even better. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic home with a fantastic location

My whole family stayed for a week at Margaret's beautiful home (me, my husband, my 18 month old, dog, my parents and my sister). The home and location exceeded our expectations and Margaret made sure everything was perfect. She went above and beyond to make my whole family, dog included, feel welcome. We loved the home and the view of the lake from the morning room was perfect. We were never more than 10 minutes from anything. It was fabulous. We cannot stop talking about what a great time we had. Hope to be able to stay here again.

Could have stayed longer

Location was great, close to a lot of activities while also feeling away from the fray. Host was very attentive and checked in with us before and after the stay. We had kids with us and enjoyed visiting Keuka Lake State Park beach and using the provided kayaks. House is nice with great outdoor areas and a hot tub. Right up the hill is an excellent brewery, and there are plenty of wineries around the area. You're right on the main road, but it wasn't noisy, particularly at night.

Lovely Stay on Keuka Lake

The house was perfect for my large family’s trip to the finger lakes. There are several gathering areas and the bedrooms are split across two floors. Margaret provided many great recommendations for the area. The house is well maintained and well equipped.

Beautiful Home, Outstanding Host

My family of six -- parents, young adult kids, and lab mix -- spent a week enjoying the outdoors and recovering in this remarkable home. The spacious home was tastefully decorated with a well-appreciated touch of whimsy. (Who doesn't enjoy the occasional gnome?) The kitchen was fully stocked, most paper products were provided, outdoor furniture was ample and clean, and we enjoyed the first sparkling hygenic and fully functional hot turb in our 10+ years using VRBO. (Many hot tubs were advertised, but few actually worked.) The AC also worked well when needed, and we enjoyed the smart TVs after a long day of gorge hiking, sailing, kayaking, and winery visits. In Penn Yan, we enjoyed restaurants, wineries, Keuka Lake State Park, and ebiking the outlet trail. We also traveled to Watkins Glen for hiking, sailing, and kayaking, a 30-minute trip, and to Ithica for gorge hikes and a visit to Cornell, approximately 70 minutes out. We also drove to Hammondsport for ice cream, winery visits, and a lakeside drive, and to Geneva for quaint small-town shopping and a lakeside walk. The host was excellent. First, Margaret was always available for questions. Second, she advertised the house as pup-friendly and it exceeded our expectations with pups bowl, critter beds, and a host of pet toys. Third, we were greeted with two local bottles of wine and a state park pass. (Nice!) And, fourth, when tropical storm Debbie felled a tree across the driveway, Margaret had it removed ASAP.

Lake Keuka Stay

Gracious VRBO Host, thank you for providing us with a wonderful place to stay during our vacation to the Finger Lakes! The unit more than met our needs for a group of 4 couples. Awesome house on Finger Lakes

Had a family trip at this house, July 27 to August 3 of 2024 and it was amazing. So much space, decorated so well and comfortably, Felt right at home! Margaret has stocked the house with everything from sheets and towels to food serving trays, glasses for all kinds of drinks and a coffee maker. Highly recommend!!

Great Stay

This property worked great for our family and pooch. Lots of space in the house and on the decks. A great place to have a family get together. The house was very clean. Margaret was great to communicate with. Overall a great spot in Kueka.

Really Solid Home Base

Place was great. Comfortable outdoor space. Grill was really cush. Direct gas line. Sweet. Kitchen was really well stocked. Everything was there. Firepit was good for s'mores. That Joanna Gaines cookbook in the house has some killer recipes. Orange scones, man. Lots of seats. Lots of rooms. Close to everything. Short drive to town, ice cream, wineries, ice cream, breweries, the state park, and ice cream. It was a great stay for a group of six adults and some dogs.
